Despite being annoyed that the website did not show the prices, forcing me to pick the phone and speak to someone I was so glad I did. I spoke to Wendy in the 'sales team', who was more than helpful and listened to what my budget was. She recommended 3 fridge freezers to me and described everyone in detail, including capacity, guarantee, colours, description. She was more than patient with me as I was looking online at each of them. Due to my current situation I needed a fridge freezer almost immediately. She noted this and although they could not assure me delivery the next day, due to my location, the following day it was booked.

However, unfortunately, my circumstances changed and I was unable to accept delivery on the Friday. I had sent an email to the office that night and at 0800 hours the following day, I received a call from Dave Green (manager, I think) who said email had been received and the lorry had been loaded with my fridge freezer and was on its way to me within 30 mins.

True to their word, the delivery guys arrived shortly after this phone call and could not have been nicer. Despite their first delivery booked for Basingstoke, they went out of their way to come in the completely opposite direction, for me to be the first drop off that day. They were extremely polite and couldn't have done more for me. They unwrapped the appliance outside and took all the rubbish away with them. They double checked the fridge freezer before they left and made sure it wasn't damaged.

Overall, the whole experience has been brilliant and I can't recommend their service highly enough, from the first point of contact with Wendy, to the manager and then the delivery guys.

I purchased a cdramic sink fromt his company as it was a good price. However I had no communication from them not even a conifrmation email to say they had recieved the orded just a paypal receipt. I called to check when it would be delivered and was told 10 days time!!! I was told I would get a text with delivery slot... nothing! Called on the day to chase and was told not in stock for another week. I did eventually get my sink nearly 3 weeks after I ordered it but at no point did they ever contact me either by email or text it just turned up on a random day, thankfully by chance I was in.I would not use them again!

My goods were delivered last July so I have been quite slow in putting in my review about WAD in Hedge End. However, I was so pleased with their service that I have at last got around to it. I had a great experience. I didn't order online but went into the store and found the staff there friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The showroom was huge with loads on display. I bought a Bosch washing machine & dishwasher, built under AEG oven and hob and a fridge freezer (Zehender or something like that) and at very good prices. I needed it all quite quickly as my new kitchen was being fitted near High Wycombe and they delivered themselves to that address, even though quite some distance from their shop, delivering at 7.00am as arranged. Even at that time in the morning, having driven all that way, the delivery men (who were store staff) were really cheerful. I subsequently went back to WAD and bought a sink and tap and one of their retro whistling kettles and again a great service. I haven't had any problems with the items so far but hope their aftersales will be as good as their sales. From my experience, I can honestly fully recommend them.

I wished I look at the reviews before placing an order. You thought your shipping charge is 14.99, it’s not, you will get charged 40 min if the delivery is not successful doesn’t matter whose fault it is and 40 pound more even if you cancel the order or don’t want continue with them. Think twice if you want order from them. So mad as I have not receive my order and they are demanding more money and the worst part is you don’t know if you are falling into a scam. Btw, they use palletways as their delivety company. You should check out their review as well.

Update:
It turns out the address they gave palletway is wrong, instead of 2X they gave them 2. They forgot the letter after the number hence resulted in palletway delivering o the wrong place. And they blamed me for not showing up at the place and wanted me to pay for the extra 40 delivery charge all the time. Palletway acknowledged the mistake and redelivered the product for free.

To be honest, their sales team is fine, did post my product as promised. But just the after sales service is bad.

Rubbish company. Sold me a dishwasher that broke 3 times. They wouldn't help didn't offer exchange or anything. Just passed the buck to the manufacturer which were also crap.

Please people don't use WAD and don't buy cheap beko

I've bought a large number of appliances from this company including 3 hobs washing machines fridge dryer for a couple of addresses.
Recently I bought a display De Dietrich induction hob 2 years ago and I had to call them out three times before they could find the fault they were unable to repair so had to replace the hob with another de Dietrich that has now also gone wrong only just over a year after I bought it. I spent the whole of this week trying to get some customer service to sort this out but have now given up and will just buy another one from a different supplier. For example at the start of this week I rang Lee who promised to send by email a receipt for the de Dietrich but it's now 6pm Thurs and I'm still waiting. Previously they had a wash machine for about 8 months before after 6 calls and 3 store visits in person I eventually found out it was an uneconomic repair. I thought a local supplier would help but due to communication difficulties I end up having to drive to Southampton from London and sort these problems out so in future I will probably just buy from ao or similar National supplier and avoid the hassle.

use a small local company or stick to the big ones which offer you assistance when you have a problem....

Taken almost a month for the items to be dispatched. Poor communication and no updates on the progress.
Also very expensive delivery charge for small, lightweight items.

Very bad service, ordered fridge online had to chase for delivery date and only after 2 calls find out myself that fridge discontinued and nobody bothered to let us know. Still chasing for refund.

I ordered a fridge freezer by phone. A week went by and I called to check what had happened. "It's discontinued". When were they going to tell me? I ordered a different one and was given a delivery date. I took the day off work. It didn't arrive, the food I'd bought to put in it rotted. I was promised another delivery date and time. I took another day off work; it didn't come. I was given a new time; it didn't come. A new time, it didn't come. You get the picture. This happened at least five times.

The last time I spoke to WAD was when I called them after they'd missed the most recent delivery slot. They said they'd call me back, they never did. At no point did they ever contact me of their own accord. I made a complaint in writing. They never replied. They still haven't refunded me.

I eventually ordered a fridge freezer from a different company. I ordered it at 5.30pm. It arrived at 8am the next morning! And they helped me move it inside at no extra cost (something WAD won't do).

Purchased a Hob online which came with some scratches and small indents. I emailed them and was asked to return the item at my own cost. I refused and was then offered £30 discount which I haven't accepted.

I questioned whether the item was brand new as described or a factory second and they refused to answer. They have not replied to subsequent emails either.

This is ongoing and I would advise to avoid this outfit and buy somewhere else.

A good selection of appliances, good value and very helpful staff. Have purchased a fridge, a dishwasher and a freezer in the past year. Efficient delivery, good value, no problems at all. Dishwasher was not from stock and hard to track down but they managed it. My go to place after John Lewis.
