Disappointing portable broadband purchase experince
I went there to get a broadband, after all the procedure was almost done. They couldn’t do the final push because somebody had already placed order for the cube online yesterday. They were oblivious to it the whole time they did the process and since it was the last cube the only option they gave me was to get another one after two days. The whole reason I am going to a store is to get it right away but after waiting for almost half an hour they took the cube they gave me. It’s beyond disappointing to experience this in current time.

Bournemouth Vodafone is a great credit to that company
Went to Vodafone Bournemouth and had two members of the team help my partner and I get new phones and new contracts. The team members were Amy and Lucy were so helpful. We're not exactly tech savvy - but Lucy and Amy both explained (patiently) all the different choices and set everything up for us. Even when we went in again the following day (and, blush, the day after) to ask for instructions/help, they were charming and really knew their stuff. These two team members were a credit to Vodafone and the sort of people one really needs when embarking on new phone and contract deals.

Helpful, friendly and thorough
Popped in to store today about a new phone and contract and was welcomed by Amy. She helped me from start to finish, ensured I was able to get a new contract at a great price with the phone I wanted. She searched different options, wrote everything down so I could compare and was patient when I was asking questions. She explained everything she was doing from looking for the best deals, to doing my credit check which really helped me to process everything.

Condescending, defensive and aggressive customer service in-store
I am a paying Voxi customer and recently my phone decided to stop making or receiving any calls or sending/receiving any text or iMessages. I am not the best with technology but after scrolling the web, having spoken with Voxi advisors both online and over the phone and having no useful solution provided, I was told I had to visit a Vodafone store in person to resolve the issue. I visited the Vodafone Bournemouth store and explained the issue calmly to a male member of staff (did not catch his name) and asked politely for help. However, I was immediately met with a hostile, defensive and quite angry manner? He was extremely condescending, non-communicative when dealing with my phone and seemed to want to place blame on me for everything even when he couldn't figure out what the problem was? He was fiddling around, kept thinking he had fixed the issue and acting smug about it then discovering it was something else and asking who had done this to my phone because 'it was either me or a fairy' ... he claimed that the crack in my phone screen was the reason for not being able to make calls or texts then proceeded to tell me he shouldn't even be helping me, it should cost £25. In the end I left the store after having spent nearly an hour there, we managed to successfully send one text and make a call, however when I got home I realised that the issue was still there and eventually managed to resolve it myself by removing the physical SIM in my phone, which he had not thought of suggesting. I will not be visiting this store again and would advise others to be wary as I felt extremely uncomfortable and as though I was being told off the whole time just for seeking help from a supposed professional.

BE CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSING VODAFONE
Be aware before going with Vodafone Broadband. They do not have their own installer team. They use CityFibre. See my review on that company!
At no stage am did I know that they didn’t use their own people.
If you buy the installation will NOT be a complete installation and explanation of what you have or how to set it up. It’s how fast can we get out of the property and go for a beer!!
I hope the service is better than the installation, but if the installation and help is anything to go by…..I might have made a huge mistake!!
I will review the service in 6 months which is a fair trial!
