Cancelled my plan immediately…
Cancelled my plan with them immediately and returned the router same day and well within 14 days cooling off etc and now you are telling me I owe you money, it's 'overdue' and if I don't pay, you will ruin my credit scores. Went to the shop where I returned the router and cancel the plan and she couldn't help because I got it online. She was able to help last time and being bought online didn't seem to be a problem then.
By the way, I am deaf and need my phone to communicate more than most. I can't phone you and I don't want to use the chat lines because it's dire.
I would give you zero stars but it seems that is not an option.
Will never use your company again. Lots of people say that but I mean it!

I’d give it zero if that was an option
I’d give it zero if that was an option, and I’d call it a comedy of errors but it simply wasn’t funny.
We started the day with perfectly acceptable 5G WiFi.
We went to Vodafone to change our pay as you go contract to a cheaper 24 month plan.
We got home and our WiFi had stopped working.
We then received an email asking for our equipment to be returned
We phoned Vodafone - 45 minutes later were advised to visit the store.
2 and a half hours after entering the store we are told “sorry. Our mistake. It’s been cancelled and we can’t give you a replacement”
A day wasted. Business appointments cancelled. No chance of working the weekend to catch up. No tv. No internet. No sorry. Just an absolute car crash of a service. I wouldn’t mind if they gave a toss. Couldn’t have been less interested.

From what you've described, it appears that an error occurred during the account changes made in store, which led to the cancellation of your broadband service and the request to return your equipment. I appreciate how disappointing it must have been to spend additional time contacting support and returning to the store, only to be advised that a replacement service could not be provided immediately.

Exemplary customer service
Saturday 1st August, I came into the Vodafone Bournemouth branch with mother and father who wanted to renew. They had been promised a renewal price for two contracts on a previous visit. We were looked after by Sonya who worked tirelessly, patiently, professionally and with empathy to help my parents who are elderly. The new contracts took quite a considerable time to set up but this was not due to Sonya's fault. Throughout she was an excellent example of customer service and my parents left the shop very pleased with their renewal contracts. In a world where branches are closing and human contact is diminishing, Sonya is a worthy credit to this company. Thank you!

Loyal unrewarded by this uncaring company
I have been with Vodafone for over 20 years. I upgraded my iPhone to a refurbished iPhone. The phone they sent was faulty. I wanted to exchange for a new iPhone as I didn’t want to exchange for another refurbished phone given the lack of care they took to check and prepare the first one. I asked to exchange, after almost an hour on the phone it transpired this wasn’t really possible. So I had to take the phone to the shop. I took an hour to drive there, but they didn’t tell me to take the box. So I had to drive another hour home and back to get the box. When I got home I called Vodafone to ask about cancelling my contract with them, they explained the options but I reflected that this wouldn’t work because I would be without a phone and I have a daughter with complex medical needs and couldn’t manage without a phone. Once I had spoken to them on the phone for almost 45 mins it became clear I would need to take the phone and the box back to the store and continue to exchange. When I arrived at the store they said they could no longer do the exchange as a ticket had been raised for a return. I called Vodafone and was told the ticket could not be cancelled. I then had to purchase the phone outright to avoid having to go away and return again another day. This ridiculous process has taken hours of my time and effort to fix Vodafone’s error. At no point did anyone manage to make the process quicker or easier and I absolutely detest the experience I had over the last few days with this dreadful useless company
