Worst CX you could possibly have. Great example of WHAT NOT TO DO. Valve are a bunch of greedy scammers in cahoots with cheating software companies, ripping off players and customers alike. They specifically love stealing money from Mommy and Daddy’s credit card allowing minors to be subjected to their gambling systems to ruin their foreseeable lives.

Company makes game then doesnt do upkeep so it ends up dusty full of cheaters lazy new content or even no content at all

J'aimerais tellement que Steam n'existe pas.
Pas intuitif, lourd et disfonctionnel.
Actuellement plus de 24h que j'essaie d'installer Ark, dont 4h juste pour vérifier le ficher (et j'ai une config qui rendrait envieux les gens du CNRS). C'est juste mauvais, vous êtes juste mauvais.

Habe gute Erfahrungen mit Valve bzw. Steam gemacht.
Gibt natürlich einige Kritikpunkte, allerdings gibt es auch viele sehr positive Punkte.

The game was plagued by constant crashes, freezes, and disconnections, making it virtually impossible to progress or enjoy the gameplay. The visuals were blurry, the text was riddled with errors, and the overall interface felt rushed and unpolished. This was not the immersive and captivating experience I had been led to expect.

In a desperate attempt to salvage my investment, I reached out to Steam Support for assistance. However, their response was utterly dismissive and unhelpful. They simply instructed me to troubleshoot the game's technical issues myself, despite the overwhelming evidence from other players indicating that these problems were widespread and systemic.

Seeking a refund for my purchase, I was met with further disappointment. Steam denied my request, claiming that in-game purchases are non-refundable and that the base game being free negates any refund possibility. This response is not only illogical and unfair but also a clear violation of consumer rights. I had spent a significant amount of money on in-game purchases, and Steam's refusal to acknowledge this fact is deeply troubling.

In my frustration, I reached out to the game's developer, King's Call. Their response was equally unhelpful, simply directing me back to Steam for a refund. This circular blame game between Steam and the developer left me feeling trapped and exploited.

This experience has highlighted several critical flaws in Steam's business practices:

The most disgusting gaming company that ever existend and will ever exist on earth planet. Do anything to avoid them. Never in your life invest a penny in steam games because they will ban you for absolutly no reason and will ignore everything you say and the ban you from sending tickets. I wish from the deep of my hearth that will be a massive lawsuite agains them and the future and they will have to pay for everything that they are doing. Shame on you if you work at valve.

In jeder Lobby nur noch Cheaters. Der Anticheat funktioniert nicht und es wird auch nichts dagegen unternommen. Das Spiel an für sich macht echt Spass, doch mit den ganzen Russen/Polen ist es noch viel schlimmer. Selten so eine schlechte/bösartige Community gesehen wie die von CS. Steam sollte das Spiel raus nehmen zum einen Punkt setzten. Es würde genug Möglichkeiten geben um die Cheaters zu minimieren aber leider habe ich das Gefühl, dass die das gar nicht wollen. Ich habe in meinen ganzen 30 Jahren noch nie so ein Cheater verseuchtes Spiel gesehen. Der Supportdienst ist der größte Rotz. Also im Großen und Ganzen nicht weiter zu empfehlen. Ich werde Cs2 boykottieren und komme erst wieder, wenn sich etwas getan hat aber so nimmt das jeden Spaß am Spiel.

Used Steam for years and never had to contact the company. Bought a game that only runs on an Operating System from 20 years ago. When I tried to complain, I found they have NO support and the only thing to do is discuss it with other angry customers in the Community Forum who have the same problem. They sold me something Not Fit For Intended Purpose and have done it many others. If I can't find a gaming alternative to Steam, I think I'll stop playing. I waste too much time anyway. It's a bad company that doesn't care.
