DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They sent us the wrong tiles two times, and the second time the tiles arrived broken. Despite not matching the sample tile, product name, or online description they claimed the tiles were the same. The recipient injured themselves on the broken tile while trying to get a picture the company requested. We reported negligence (poor packaging, dangerous damaged cracked product) to the company and requested instructions to file a claim or complaint and they did not respond to our request. Tilebar also refused to refund the incorrect tiles and only offered to refund the broken ones

I purchased floor and wall tiles in the Stacy Garcia Maddox collection a few months ago and was contacted by a TileBar representative (over a week after placing my order) asking if it was okay if my wall tile came from different lots. After reviewing the attached pictures, I approved my order. After another week of waiting, I contact Tilebar and inquired about when my order would ship and they informed me that my order had shipped, but I hadn't before this correspondence received any shipping info. When my tiles arrived, half of my wall tile order (6 out of 13 boxes) were a different tile all together--not the tiles from a different lot that I had been contacted to approve. When I contacted TileBar, they informed the that they no longer carried the tile that I had originally ordered. In the span of 4 weeks, I placed an order, approved a slight change to my order, received the incorrect tiles, and was informed then that half of my wall tile order could not be fulfilled. While I was able to receive a refund for my wall tiles, this series of events seriously delayed my renovations and I had to change my design plans. Luckily Home Depo carried the exact same tile, under a slightly different name, and while they didn't carry the color I originally wanted, I bought with them successfully (and for less) and would not recommend TileBar.

My wife ordered 36 boxes of flooring tile, half beige and half grey, for a checkerboard pattern. It took a month for the boxes to be delivered on a pallet. As our contractor got toward the end of the floor installation , he said there were 20 grey boxes and 18 beige boxes rather than 19 of each and that one of the grey boxes had broken tiles. Tilebar said it would ship two grey boxes. A month later we have yet to receive the boxes, despite repeated inquiries, leaving us unable to finish the flooring, install appliances and use the kitchen. Very, very frustrating, particularly given the premium pricing for the tiles.

Updated 5/29: TB agreed to waive the 15% restock fee for the remaining 800 tiles, but wanted us to pay for shipping. Only after a few heated email exchanges did they agree to pay for the shipping, as well as provide store credit.
Original: We ordered the Montauk sand dune because of the variation in tiles to go with a fun pattern floor (and green vanity). Was so excited to receive this tile (we even chose these over another big box store because of their quality), we ordered to install in our guest bathroom AND kitchen. We loved the variation, the quality. We have used our tiler for years. Over 4 complete gut jobs and he specializes in tiling; you can't even imagine my shock when I walked-in and saw this.. The tile and job itself is stunning - the material, quality and feel. Beautiful.. But what we got was an off, salmon pink one variation, taking me back to the 70s. It's quite obviously, not the same tile.
What makes it worse is that TileBar refuses to acknowledge it's all one variation, and because it's all installed, will not refund. We have over 800 tiles left and are sending back and they also want us to pay the 15% restock fee + shipping.
Also, I tried to post this exact review on their product page - it won't go through (they "send an email" to approve, and the email never comes ha).

Such a wild experience. If you can find the same tile elsewhere, it’s your best move.
I placed an order for tile and 2 of 25 units were shipped and delivered. I called customer service the next morning, 6-days after making the original order, and was told Tilebar’s inventory online doesn’t reflect their actual inventory and that my tile order couldn’t be fulfilled from the same lot and that my order would deplete Tilebar’s entire inventory of the tile. Of note, this is a 25 sqft order, so quite small. Tilebar gave me the following options: (1) have photos sent of the tile from this other lot that the remianing 23 units would be sent from or (2) I could do a refund, minus the cost to ship back the 2 units they sent. This means even if I want to cancel my order due to their errors that I had to call about I still have to pay. Again, this is wild. They further recommended that in the future I contact Tilebar prior to making the purchase to confirm they have what I’m ordering in stock.
How has Tilebar made it this far to have such an archaic inventory system, but also these customer service policies?
If you can, find your tile elsewhere.

Would love for zero stars to be an option
Boxes of tile came shattered to the point not a single tile was usable from the box.
Called to get replacements. It’s been three business days and they haven’t shipped. They will not accept extra payment to overnight the product.
We have now lost two weeks of productivity on the remodel, strongly advise finding another place to buy tile from because they will not make anything right in a timely fashion.

Beware of costs of returns. For a $697 order which I returned, I had to pay $260 UPS shipping cost and TileBar charges 15% restock fee, Total cost incurred for me totalled $1054.48. My Refund from TileBar was $460. Total loss for this transaction cost me $594.48. The tile I ordered online was a totally different color when received. Recommend selecting tile and flooring in person, not online. Will not purchase or recommend TileBar again.

BUYER BEWARE OF TILEBAR!!! They are absolutely TERRIBLE! I ordered a sample of marble tile for a master bathroom floor, liked it, then ordered for the full room (about $5k in stone). The tile that arrived was not even close to the sample they sent me. I have worked with stone multiple times in the past, both in my properties and investment properties, so know what normal variation is. This was not normal. I worked through a decorator who agreed that the tile sent was not even close to the sample they sent. Both she and I tried to get them to take it back but they made it so difficult and expensive for me to return it that it was cheaper to trash it...which is exactly where the tile went. I'm sure Tilebar will respond to this complaint but whatever they say or offer is worth nothing. My decorator and I already tried to resolve this and Tilebar was a rude waste of time and a lot of money. UPDATE: On Feb 12, 2026, in response to this review, TileBar reached out to me to request back up info. Against my better judgement, I wasted another 5 days with TileBar on phone calls wit the Client Experience Supervisor and providing information. The end result....Nothing. Just another waste of my time and energy after wasting a lot of money. If I could switch my review to 0 stars, I would.

Thank you for your time and attention in resolving the damaged tile we'd received, with our contractor.
As you can see from the attached photos, the Zeta Azul Blue Polished Marble and Brass Waterjet Mosaic Tile we selected from TileBar looks beautiful in our remodeled kitchen. I was steadfast in wanting this tile as I'd looked at 100s of tiles over 2 months. My initial disappointment with UPS' delivery of a fragile item and TileBar's poorly insulated packaging was proactively addressed when we received our final shipment of Zeta Azul Blue Polished Marble and Brass Waterjet Mosaic Tiles. TileBar's willingness to work with our contractor was evident in the high-quality packaging we received with our replacement tile.
We've received so many compliments on our backsplash and are grateful to everyone who worked together to resolve this issue.

Trustpilot gave me the knowledge that while I like specific tiles from TileBar, beware of the shipping cost! The tiles are pretty but expensive themselves. With the shipping cost added, cost that are not considered in the beginning, are they really worth it? Maybe or maybe not.

A large portion of tiles arrived damaged and unusable. The company did send new shipment to replace damaged tiles, but these also arrived broken. My torn-up kitchen project has been delayed by several weeks at least, and that doesn't even account for now having to source new tile from an alternate vendor. I'm not sure how a tile company doesn't know how to package fragile items for shipping, but I will never order from this site again.

BUYER BEWARE! I ordered tile samples from tilebar, then ordered a large amount of one of the tiles. The tile sent by tilebar did not even resemble the sample that tilebar had sent to me. Customer service was incredibly rude and unhelpful and refused to speak with me... Only email. I requested a replacement of the tile but tilebar only agreed to take some of the bad tile back, at my expense. Which meant that I would still have to replace all of the floor tile. It didn't pay to ship it back to them because freight was so high for the small amount they were willing to return. Tilebar refused to stand behind the problem. I ended up tearing out the tilebar tile and replaced it with tile from another company. Please note that anything tile bar offers in their response I wish there was an option in this review to include photos. It would be obvious how aggregious the difference is in the sample sent and the tile received.

TileBar customer service has no idea what is going on and makes little effort to find out. I ordered tile 12 days ago and they said it would ship in 3/5 days. I reached out for an update and was notified the tile is out of stock. I had to reach out to find this out. Then they tell me is in in stock but can’t tell me when it’s going to ship. I’m on a tight timeline for the project and now it’s been over 11 days and they continue to tell me it will ship in “3-5 business days”. I’ve worked in distribution before, it’s not that difficult to reach out to your supplier and get a ship date. That’s the point of distribution.

Not the best experience already. We just signed up for the trade program online and I called in to customer service to ask what the next steps were. She told me someone would call me. I asked if I could give them another number to call to ensure we didn't miss the call and she said well they'll email you. I asked again if I could please use a different number and she abruptly told me I could tell them that when they email us. Not an inviting experience at all and makes me wonder what it will be like during the ordering process. Very disappointing because I was really excited to have another option for our clients.
