The service I received from Jamie-Lee

The service I received from Jamie-Lee was fantastic (the same cannot be said for Evri - who failed to deliver my parcel).

Jamie-Lee arranged for a replacement item to be sent out to us ASAP

Extremely poor customer service.

I have made several attempts to contact The Entertainer via email regarding an issue, and have received no response. Being completely ignored as a customer is unacceptable.

I gave ample time for a reply before taking this further, but the lack of communication has been very disappointing.

I would not recommend based on this experience alone, as basic customer support standards have not been met.

This response from there team is not good enough. I will continue to post daily. "Thank you for your feedback. It's disappointing to read that you are unhappy with the service you have received both in store and with our customer service team.
I will address the matter with both, to ensure that this doesn't happen again and that improvements are made."

Quick to help when needed!

I purchased a gift for my nephews birthday which once ordered my brother then informed me he already has it. Even though I paid for next day delivery and was worried it might not cancel in time, I contacted the team through the online chat and they cancelled my order within an hour of ordering it. They were great and especially thanks to Sadiqa who was so quick and helpful.

Staff going through new boxes before put out on store floor

Well as a hotwheel collector i visit stores in my area and have noticed that staff are going through new boxes before getting put out on shelfs. I noticed today when staff member brought out box that had already been opened from out back and when looked at bottom off box as there two sections in hotwheels boxes but noticed there where models missing from under the seperator in box. Staff members shouldnt be allowed to open and look before the stock has been put out. I have already raised this with company clearly nothing been done about it.

I was missing an item when i collected…

I was missing an item when i collected in store. When I contacted the entertainer I got a prompt response and ideal resolution from Kyle. He was understanding and took my requirements on board and ensured all was completed and organised the same day. Great customer service.

Atrocious experience! Won’t shop with them again

I don’t often shop with the entertainer. I made the mistake of doing so last Monday. I placed an order online having had a request from a child to make the purchase. As I was checking out it confirmed the item was in my local store for collection. I processed the payment and then literally one minute later got an email saying that the item was not in stock and I would have to wait 2 to 3 days. I immediately registered a cancellation request. It took them two days to respond to me and then they asked for the order number which I’d already provided. One minute later again, they messaged me to ask me why I had not responded to the request for the order number! The company Cleary do not know what they are doing and it’s just not worth the hassle of purchasing from them. A really annoying time-consuming experience that resulted in a child being disappointed. A toy retailer should never do that!!!

Appalling experience

Appalling experience! Having waited over 2 weeks for an order that should have been available within 30 minutes through click & collect (according to their website), I chased it up several times via the online chat & by going into the store itself. I wasn't told much at all as to why it was taking so long or where it had got too.
I was given my own phone number via the online chat to call the store with, and even after I told them they'd given me my own phone number, they gave it to me again! There was absolutely zero effort put into giving me the correct details, all they had to do was Google the correct number for their own store (which is what I did!) and no proper effort was put in to explain what happened to my order either. I was told it was delayed due to the bank holiday even though I ordered it a week before that, which I found strange, then I was told it would be here that day so I went away and waited for the confirmation email on their advice! A week later, still no response so I had to chase it up again only to be told it couldn't be processed and my order was cancelled!! Now one of the items has since sold out but the other two items are still in stock and instead of offering a substitute item for the one that was no longer there and continuing with what was left of my order they cancelled it and told me to order it again online at my earliest convenience! No apologies or explanation as to why the item was sold out in the first place and how that had happened even though I'd managed to order and pay for it & had waited over 3 weeks for them to just cancel it! And actually I was the one who looked online and saw it had sold out, they didn't even offer me an explanation I had to find out myself! Absolutely appalling customer service. I still can't believe the cheek of them telling me to order it again as if I'd do that after the absolutely appalling service I've had from them! Not a happy customer!

I was trying to order an item ... but failed

I was trying to order an item that clearly showed it was available for delivery in 5 days. Right at the end of checkout I got a message saying "one or more items are unavailable for delivery". The ChatBot was useless and eventually I got transferred to an agent who never came online so I was then transferred to a form to fill in. I got an email response which says I "have to manually key in item numbers one at the time so you may visually see which one may be out of stock." No clues given as to what this means or how to do this so, after several attempts, I am taking my custom elsewhere.
The IT system clearly hasn't been tested in real-world conditions.
I'm not sure why this review is being queried - the reply section I received was left blank. My suspicion was - and still is - that there's something of an IT issue at the company. Simple things just aren't working for users out in the real world. I tried to be as helpful as I could by quoting the error messaged I'd received, so I'm not sure what other information I could add apart from this is a genuine review from someone who has had a career in IT and systems design.
