Do not go to TGIfridays Walsall on a Saturday evening if you want good food, good service and a reasonably pleasant experience
It was very bad, there were no tables on arrival and we had booked 2 weeks previously. We were told it was because other customers were not leaving their tables fast enough! We clustered round the door with many other people
After being seated we waited an hour in total for food and had to continually call different staff over to ask for drinks, order our food and then ask when will the food arrive?
1 hour later when food had arrived we asked for cutlery and were bought 3 forks! We were eating 2 starts and a main!
Some staff were apologetic but the hostess was rude and with some attitude to be honest
I will not be visiting TGIfridays in Walsall again. A very disappointing restaurant experience all round

Visited the Walsall restaurant and had a very disappointing experience, after arriving at the time of our booking we were told we would have to wait to be seated without an explanation. We waited 15 minutes before being told it was due to other tables not finishing their meals in time, by the hostess who was very rude and impatient with us. When we were eventually seated we waiting almost 30 minutes before asking if our order could be taken. Then it was almost another 30 before we received even a drink. After being in the restaurant for an hour we asked when are food would be ready. There were a number of birthdays being celebrated so on various occasions we could see five or waitresses on the other side of the restaurant singing loudly, this isn’t a great look when you’ve been trying to get someone’s attention just to get a drink! The starters were cold and food was soggy, we hadn’t had the chance to finish when the mains arrived, these were not tasty and overcooked. The restaurant was very clearly understaffed for a Saturday evening meaning we had to call over for assistance and for cutlery on numerous occasions, rather than anyone checking in on us.
When we asked for the bill the hostess from earlier took our payments and again was rude and impolite when we asked a question with the total, we had spoken to waitresses earlier to express our disappointment and frustration and she did apologise on the restaurant’s behalf but the hostess continued with her rude attitude.
We have been here a few times and following this incredibly disappointing experience we doubt we will return again.

Went to store at Westfields. Had New York strip. No onion rings had to ask for them steak tough certainly not worth the the price.Most disappointed.

while the pork ribs where very nice ,the Bq Sauce was over kill too much and far too strong ,and the price for 3 people 3 cokes and just 3 meals around £120 ,they have definetly priced them selves out of the market

Decided to go and have dinner at TGI’s in Stevenage last night, when we arrived there were around 4 or 5 tables. We stood by the entrance opposite the bar and could see that one of the waitresses had seen us, we waited a few minutes before another one came and sat us. We looked at the menus given and had our drinks order taken, we then ordered our starters shortly after and then our mains. So far, so good. Once we had finished our food, we sat there for a while, so had to flag down the waitress to get the dessert menu - at this point we were the only customers in there. We happened to mention, that we had a free dessert voucher each and wanted to know what desserts were included. She said that we could only use one voucher not two, I said that we were going to pay separately anyway and it states per transaction on the voucher, not per table. She got a little flustered and said that she had to check with the kitchen and see what desserts they could make as they close early during the week - this was at 8:40pm, slightly thrown off by this, I asked her to see what they have and then to let us know before we decide on something they cannot make/have. A few seconds go by and another girl shows up at our table, she grabs the desserts menu and asks ‘so what do you want for dessert’ to which I reply, well we were told the kitchen is closing so we asked to be advised what they can make so we can decide, she then said, we can’t give you two free desserts, you can only use one voucher per table. The tills will not let us do that, to which my friend replied ‘but we are paying separately, so surely you can add it on as a separate transaction and bill’, she got very flustered, very quickly. Before I could mention that I had been here only a few months ago with a group of friends where we all had vouchers and this was no problem, she stormed off with the menus and we were left sitting at the table not being acknowledged for 5 minutes before again, we had to flag down the girl that served us for bill. I then asked I guess you have no desserts and she responded with a smirk ‘the dessert machine is broken’. Needless to say, even after we had said we wanted to pay separately, one bill came, so my mate paid the bill in one and I transferred him the money, I will not be back there. This is by far the worst interaction I’ve had with your staff and thus far, I’ve never had the need to raise it, however, last night really was a terrible experience and your staff need to be trained on how to actually provide decent service, even when it is quiet. Also as we were leaving another 2 guests came in, funny how the kitchen was “closing” for us but you could seat and serve another 2 people. Make it make sense. PS the girl that served us what Violet, who, up until the dessert malarkey was brilliant and the other girl who had an attitude like no other was Grace. The food was nice so cudos to the kitchen staff. If anything I would really like to know, why a group of us could use vouchers, with no problems whatsoever, but 2 of us could not. Please re-train your staff and how to explain this better to a customer, than walking off in a huff mumbling and leaving the customer sitting at the table WAITING to be acknowledged.

Took 7 people to tgi x scape on saturday,waited 50 mins for food and drink,the waitress got some of the order mixt up,some of it were cold,iwill not be going again,in my estimation gone down hill.

When to Nottingham Fridays today and both me and the wife ordered the mixed grill as over the past two years it’s been great but not anymore. Chips were stone cold the steak was cold and inedible as it was more fat than meat, the corn on the cob was bad and again inedible and the portion sizes were tiny for a £38 meal even the wife ate what was edible and we were still hungry. The microwave in Fridays is the most used appliance in the kitchen. All the food is now cheap frozen rubbish, that’s the end of TGIs for me, can’t see it surviving very long if it carries on like this. One positive the staff were friendly and helpful.

Raymone at the Stratford branch always gives us the best experience and is very helpful and friendly. Him along with Josiah provide the best experience and support every time.

Can't handle big group bookings. Don't have time to accommodate charity outings (charities who are paying £20 per head) not to mention belittling customers in front of their staff. The only positive thing I can say is that all the young staff are very good and polite. Not sure about the management at the Glasgow franchise though... I won't be back.

I am writing to share my disappointment with the experience my party and I had at your Sheffield Road location on December 30, 2024. We had a reservation for four at 8:30 PM.

When we arrived, we were left waiting to be seated for an extended period. During this time, other people leaving the restaurant informed us that the menu was severely limited, which raised immediate concerns. Upon inquiry, a staff member confirmed that there was no draught or bottled beer, no chicken, no steak, and limited availability of other food items.

By this time, it was close to 9:00 PM, and none of us had eaten. Given that the restaurant in our nearby hotel was already closed, we were left scrambling to find alternative arrangements. We were ultimately forced to order an Uber and rush to Frankie & Benny’s to salvage the evening, adding unexpected costs and stress.

This experience left us extremely frustrated and disappointed, particularly as it followed a long day and was meant to be a pleasant meal before checking into our hotel. I fail to understand how a restaurant can operate without basic food and drink availability, especially during the busy holiday season.

Lovely visit to TGI's Nottingham great service from Simi and lovely food.

Ordered TGIs delivery. Food turned up missing fries, sauces and the smash burger was dripping in saturated black grease. I wouldn’t feed this crap to my pets. No wonder they’re going bust all the time. Truly awful.

You only know a companys worth when something goes wrong and what they do to put it right. TGI's do absolutely NOTHING to put it right. I had very poor service at the Trafford Centre restaurant, they got the food order wrong, brought out food that we said we could have but then changed their mind, then tried to charge me for said food. I then complained to head office and all they came back with was sorry. TGI Fridays do nothing to put it right and have made no effort in trying to ensure customers come back again. I will NEVER eat at this establishment again.

Mum surprised me with a visit to TGI o2 for my birthday. We waited 40 minutes to be seated and then another 20 minutes to place our food order. I understand this is a busy venue, however the staff walk past you and don’t even acknowledge the fact you have been waiting for ages. This experience was distasteful. Staff need to smile and communicate more with customers.

Walked in all tables hadn’t been cleaned restaurant was virtually empty waited 20mins to been seen too
When food came daughters was freezing and had to be returned
Toilets where a mess daughter slipped on a sign that had been left on floor and no one said anything

Our experience was swift and the server, Amie the manager, was very kind and made our time very smooth. Service was quick, food was great, will definitely come back.

Booked online for TGIF's at the 02 - 5.15pm
Arrived to discover people still waiting for their tables booked for 4pm!
The staff were not very bright and kept bumping people out of the time queue.
People booked for 5pm were being seating before the 4pm diners. Needless to say, this caused some heated conversations.
Finally seated after 55 minutes.
The menu is very small but the food still came out cold and I had raw bacon on mine! Sent it back. Returned with cooked bacon but cold chips!
Gave up. Ate what we could, begrudgingly paid bill and left - never to return.

Worst value restaurant in all of Cardiff. Won’t be back again. Food is low quality and small portions but high priced, same with drinks (Cocktails were watered down but the same price as a high quality cocktail bar).

Paid quite a big deposit to reserve a table, the table was booked for 11 people for a birthday. Sat for well over half an hour before I prompted staff to take a drinks order. Food was mostly okay, however the macaroni cheese ordered, well I’d like to know where the cheese was?! Overpriced and overrated. The deposit paid was not taken off my bill and I’m still waiting for my money a week later after being told it was ‘automated’. Poor customer service, phone just hangs up. Will not be visiting again. The only positive was the slice of birthday cake and song.
