Textmagic has been a great tool for a mentoring group I lead. There are so many features, most of which we haven't been able to explore/use yet but, it is a perfect text messaging tool.

Definitely Recommend
I have been using TextMagic for several years now and have been very satisfied with the service. The ability to have an interactive text experience with patients has been beneficial in communicating with patients. Many times we are able to get responses to simple questions and confirmations quicker than phone calls themselves. In addition, many of my patients live in the country where cell phone service is not great, but they are able to receive and send text messages. Overall, I would definitely recommend this service to any and all small businesses

So much red tape that it's not usable
I'm on the board of a local goverment water and sewer system. We've been trying to get things set up with textmagic but they have denied our application dozens of times. I think their business model is to bill people for a non existent service hoping people will pay a month or two before realizing it's a scam. I've tried calling them but just got hung up on.

Your account is completely free and requires no payment details. Unlike many competitors, Textmagic covers the costs of 10DLC brand and campaign registration, including the first month of virtual number usage.
10DLC compliance is an industry-wide requirement enforced by carriers—not Textmagic—and we are obligated to adhere to the guidelines established by the Campaign Registry.
Your 10DLC registration was rejected because your Terms of Service and opt-in flow did not meet compliance standards, and the necessary changes outlined by our support team were not implemented. Furthermore, you threatened to leave negative feedback unless we forced the Campaign Registry to approve your non-compliant application.
Additionally, according to our logs, our support team did not disconnect the call—you ended the conversation with our secretary. We take customer support seriously and always strive to provide clear and respectful support.

We have been using textmagic for about 5 years now for our research projects. It is so incredibly easy to use, and the options for creating the texts are simple and efficient. If I've ever had a question the customer service staff are quick to respond and very helpful. As a person who isn't very tech-savvy, I LOVE this program and appreciate how it's helped us collect important data!!

Amazing service and so simple to use.
We have been using Textmagic to provide our customers with text support without the inconvenience of texts arriving on our phones.
Text messages arrive by email and we can reply from a proper keyboard at a desk. Having said that, they also come through to our phones, but in the Textmagic app and do not clutter our own text messages.

This is a really cost effective way to reach out to a group all at the same time. On a weekly basis I send out a link to a video message from our MD to a distribution list and, on an ad hoc basis, I can import specific contact information from an excel report to tailor the distribution to the most appropriate people.
It has also be a real help to me when making arrangements for interviews etc. If I email the arrangements and then follow it up with a text alerting candidates to a message in their inbox, it really helps to cut down on the "no shows"! And it is really easy to use. I don't know how I managed before!!

Really good service
Really good service. Very easy to use and good value for money. Our customers like the fact that we send a text to alert them that we have answered their initial enquiries. We also use it if we have urgent requests for information from our members (we are are trade union) and any issues with their membership. Also great statistics that help us monitor the volume we send.

Amazing service
Amazing service ! I have used Text magic for my business for over 5 years now. I have also recommended it to several others who love it! The new update looks sleek BUT, it constantly logs me out, which means I have to get a security code sent to me in order to log in each time. It didn’t do this in the past and I don’t clear my cookies. Please fix this because its making my experience not so fun..

Very easy and simple to use
Text Magic is super simple and easy to use. I haven't needed to consult any help docs, not once. It works well, and creating SMS campaigns are a breeze!
Favourite feature is being able to reply to individual replies from within the platform.
I also love the PAYG (Pay As You Go) feature, so you're not locked into a monthly subscription if you're not using it all the time, like myself. I've used TextMagic many a times for clients.
