There was no pressure on me at anytime to purchase my vehicle,Derek, my sales person, was friendly and knowledgeable and could not have been more helpful. All the rest of the team were equally helpful and friendly and it made a difference. I have spent in the region of £300,000 since going totally Volvo in 1995, this is likely to be my last purchase and I could not be happier with the whole experience.

Staff didn’t seem interested and manager stuck in his glass office. Tried to take a second test drive of an ex60 at the Preston branch but seemed to be too inconvenient for the staff and manager. Was planning to order one today but cest la vie.
Not sure what the point of the showrooms are now tbh. Should just move to the Tesla model and have staff who just hand out keys.

Volvo EX30
We recently purchased an nearly new Volvo Seleckt EX30. This was our first electric vehicle. We had a great experience with the staff at the Sytner Volvo dealership in Fulwood near Preston. Derek was a great representative and the purchase of our Volvo EX30 was straight forward and seemless. Thank you Derek for all your help. I was asked as part of my service and MOT, if I’d like my car cleaning and vacuuming. They only vacuumed the front seat and left the back seats and boot untouched , felt like they couldn’t be bothered and just left it.

This was a first rate experience. All communications were precise and responses were quickly replied too.
Cian Murphy was efficient, polite and made you feel very welcome. I was given all the time I needed to inspect the car and never felt under pressure to complete the transaction. Cian went to the trouble of calling me a couple of days after, which was a nice touch. Even though I had a journey of over 260 miles to Preston I would not hesitate to use them again.

Why can’t I speak to a human?
Booked a service for an XC90 to maintain my cars warranty. Sytner in general is particularly frustrating that you cannot phone them to speak to a person. You’ve got to negotiate an intricate web of automated menus and AI. Why can’t I simply ring a number and speak to a team member at the branch?
Service was completed in good time and a detailed report and video explaining some checks was sent to me. A very basic wash & vac completed which left a lot to be desired. Bodywork was nowhere near clean afterwards.
Now comes the sting, £425 for what appears to be oil, filters and very expensive look round. I get it, oil isn’t cheap and apparently an expensive car means an expensive service but the labour charge for 90mins was insane.
I was aware of the cost beforehand, but as it’s necessary to maintain the warranty it just feels a bit like extortion.

Pleasant environment.
Nothing in particular, it's just a pleasant environment to wait in. However, I had to call Volvo back the following day and was met with a ''digital'' receptionist which was very frustrating and difficult to navigate. May I suggest a return to a ''human'' receptionist where a phone call can get you to the required department in seconds rather than the hour plus I had to wait for a return call. This digital system is in my opinion a hugely retrograde step back in customer service.

Fabulous service
From my first visit to your showroom in Preston, I was greeted with a warm “hello “, I immediately felt at ease. I was introduced to Cian (sorry if I got the spelling wrong). Really nice guy, very easy going, not at all pushy and answered all my questions/queries. Eventually purchased my XC40, very happy customer. Shout out to Scott who was also very helpful.
