I would definitely not recommend anyone looking for social housing to consider Stonewater.
No compassion at all. Leaving disabled people in these conditions is utterly shocking ..management are not even helping lost all faith in this organisation.

Stonewater were contacted twice in one day about a blocked drain. Firstly, I was told that when my mum contacted them, she told them it was a blocked sink pipe. They replied that it would cost $ 100 to fix it. That is totally fictitious, as I was with her at the time. On the 2nd occasion, when I rang, they sent someone out who said that it wasn't a sink problem, it was a drainage problem, and he couldn't do anything. Then, today, my mother rang them again, and they said a sink blockage has been reported twice, which is a total lie. My parents pay sewerage charges, so where is that money going when they don't want to do the work? The sewerage system here was said to of been not up to standard 15 years ago stoneware is a joke

All the staff i have came across are very respectful, always helpful. Looking after their properties AND tenants. Recently spoke to an amazing Tracey at Stonewater who got me booked in & sorted everything within a few days, made sure I was ok, if I needed anything and understood everything during the few days. I would highly recommend Stonewater

I had a really positive experience with a charity grant application, The whole process was completely individualised to my specific needs and I was explained everything throughly throughout, I was handled with respect and compassion during a difficult time, Kim Gibson in particular was so friendly and caring so thank you for that.

Key highlights -
left with no heating for hot water for 3 years.
left without a working kitchen (as in not even cupboards or flooring, plugs etc) for 4 months
refused to deal with damage they did to my personal belongings
Repeatedly ignored me when i begged for help when reporting a violent neighbour for over a year.
Details - When i moved into the flat in 2019, the boiler did not work. i reported multiple times, wates came out weekly for years. I even heard them tell stone water that it needed replacing. Wates kept trying to get it to work, replaced different parts but kept informing me it will just go again. Took them 3 years to do so.
When i argeed for them to update the kitchen, they stopped work on it once they removed everything. I was left with an empty room with a microwave in my living room to live for months. I begged for it to be finished, not finished intill i threatened them with legal action same as i had to with the boiler. Once they did finish it, they snapped all the feet off my cooker and dented my fridge freezer and overall left the room unfinished with broken titles, wood missing. I asked them to finish it properly and replace the cooker feet, That was two years ago. Still nothing.
Now on to the worst part, I have lived peacefully and even got on well with my next door neighbour for the last 5 years. not a single issue. Till my partner starting to come see me at my home. He then got drunk and would kick my door loudly and repeatedly at 4am. threaten me, stalk me. Waiting for me to finish work and get into my face and be verbally abusive. i have a camera, i have recordings of him just standing outside my front door for hours. threating me. i have reported it to the police and they had to get involved. But where is stonewater? when i have begged for help? Nowhere. its always we will call back in 24hrs. Never do. I now have been living like this in constant fear for a year. unable to move. Now i am 8months pregnant. My nehbour has gotten even worse, i have called stone water begging and crying that i need help. Nothing. They do not care, they only care about money.

saying your tenants have "cancelled" appointments to publicly try and humiliate them whilst the same tenant has not left her home for two weeks waiting in for these "cancelled" appointments is diabolical !!! i had to chase these appointments up the other night and was waiting on a chat for half an hour because surprise!! they still have not been done!!! im so angry

Avoid if possible, constant lies from their staff.
Repair requests constantly ignored, i can back this up with email proof but they don't care.
Their managers are a prime example of why the staff have zero care

Wouldn't give a single star if that was an option. Years of abysmal service. Complaints ignored, complaints about complaints being ignored, ignored! Being charged for services we dont receive, left to deal with anti social neighbours and their animals that foul in the stairwell, dropping lit cigarettes on the stairs, drug deals in the communal areas. I was left without a ceiling for months due to a tiny leak that I reported taking so long to address that my entire ceiling had to be ripped out. I've given up complaining because NOTHING gets done. I literally cannot wait to get out of this hellhole!

Tracey Leatherland whom I've just had a call from and gone through applications for various really helpful grants, made me feel absolutely at ease, myself struggling with high anxieties and not the best mental health at very stressful times. I am blown away by Tracey's kindness and willingness to go at my pace and am grateful for her going the absolute extra mile for me. Really has restored my faith in more than just people, but by my housing association, Stonewater themselves as well. I can not thank you enough, Tracey. Megs xxx

I’d give a 0 if I could. I had to move because they didn’t robustly manage a very anti social neighbour (male) that tried to poison my pets, caused criminal damage to my personal property, harassed me and physically assaulted me. He was convicted on several occasions due to my evidence. He’s still there!

Stonewater need to be more transparent..continuity is a major downfall...tenants spend all their time chasing this HA up just for basic things..Grounds maintenance is non existant even though its been reported numerous times..

If there was a no star option, stonewater would get it!!
Constant problems with leaks, been going on a year. Sent joiners, electricians, sometimes dont come at all, sometimes come unannounced, never actually sort it tho!

Took 10 months to get the leaking gutter repaired which leaked onto my window sill which kept me awake all night.
Have had to send photo proof on numerous times of the overgrown trees, shrubs and lawns..trees so far overgrown that you cant walk on the paths.
Taking 5 months to cut the grasses after informing them that we had mice infested flats.
Have not cleaned the rear windows for 12 months now, front windows are cleaned twice a year.
Took 8 years to remove ridiculously noisy neighbours above me after hundreds of filled in forms. They lost the forms and the person who was supposed to be receiving them.
They got Shamela onto the case who did absolutely nothing once the time came to take them to court.
The council told Stonewater that they needed to supply me with a noise detector but they refused.
Please stay clear from Stonewater, absolute joke company.
