How have Stonewater Housing got 3.8 stars on reviews? They have not repaired the damaged fence at Abbey Court and it is hanging off ready to bring down the entire fencing fro an elevated 3 foot wall. Anyone nearby will be killed And they havent done anything to reapir it afatr 3 months!

Updat 26th Feb 2026... So despite the promise from Stonewater below to come attend and investigate, no one came... as expected. Really deserve no stars.

Ripped out my bathroom with no plans of returning so I’ve been washing at the sink for several months now, they also wanted to come and do a “stock condition survey” so they were planning on ripping everything out and just have me live in a bare flat, I’ve not even mentioned the fact that I’m in a wheelchair yet.

Also: I WILL NEVER ALIGN MYSELF WITH EVIL AND THAT IS NON NEGOTIABLE, YOU THINK JUST BECAUSE YOU MAKE ME LIVE AT NUMBER SIX I’M GOING TO STOP BEING GOOD? NOT A CHANCE!

Joom’s a dodgy company as well so maybe you should get together so you can scheme on how to make sh&@#y products and services

I should probably tell the council how you ripped out their 4 grand bathroom after pretending you were going to replace it!

And you don’t care about the environment, you don’t even care about people!

Our Nextdoor neighbour has had a new heating installation air heating with the machine out side in the garden this is outside our bedroom window it’s waked me and my wife up every night for the last 3 months we don’t seem to be getting anywhere except going round in circles I’ve recorded the noise but they keep telling me it’s something else but I’ve spoken to next door and she has nothing on at that time of night
The noise is ongoing and affecting our home environment we simply want the issue sorted and taken seriously and properly assessed its affecting me and my wife’s relationship
Why does everyone else in our cul de sac get things done asap but us
We work full time and been here for over 25 years
Everyone else seems to be on benefits not an issue but ?
Stonewater have given us a contract but he is not a specialist in this type of heating

Where do I start?
Firstly, we had to wait 5 months after saying yes to the property to be able to move in due to having to make it suitable for us to live in. When we moved in the place was covered in mold and smelled of urine everywhere we have tried everything to get the place to look and smell nice.
We got given a ground flat with a shower room which was covered in mould and the lineal was cut and filling up with dirty stinking water. Every time we tried to take a shower the whole room would fill with water which ended up leading out into the hallways which I wrecked the new flooring. We had reported this and the staff member on the phone was very rude and said if we are not disabled then it’s not really an issue that needs to be quickly resolved we have been givin a date for someone body to come out which in a months time. We also reported the shower was hanging of the wall and spraying out water and according to stone water it is no an issue. The doors in every room are damaged and it’s our responsibility to replace them. Our front door doesn’t shut properly as it has been previously kicked in by the recent tenant before us and none seems to care that is unsafe. The windows in every room don’t shut properly or the handles of the windows are falling off. I think this is absolutely disgusting expecting us to pay our rent on time but won’t resolve the issue. You need to sort your so called charity out this is outrageous!!!!

No option for zero stars or I would put that! Where to start...
Did a mutual exchange to a stonewater property in 2024 was told bathroom and kitchen was being replaced in 2026 and funny enough now not happening!
My son got cancer last year and despite the financial strain there was zero support or help from stonewater.
My son is now out of hospital cannot use the bath at all and struggles with the stairs ive rejoined the housing register and been referred to ot but on a long waiting list but as usual stonewater dont care.
Im also suffering major depression due to the kids playing football hitting my house, my car and coming crashing into my garden daily and apart from sending a letter to residents guess what... they don't care! All stonewater care about is taking your rent money and in regards to anything else THEY DONT CARE!

I’ve had a positive experience with Martin Tang keeping me updated on a house I will be renting in the near future.
He is very approachable and polite when communicating.

Nothing down like so much took my floor out all mess currently in my small garden and bag contacted environmental health paint so bad my and instead of doing it properly looks bad damp I got actually quote from an painter and builder stone water will not get not a penny from me send me letter all you want fix the property it behind a joke sheet on the floor aswell it so bad a 5 year old can do a better job I'm so sick of them blaming me been like that before 2023 before I moved in so apparently my fault again where the sense in that explain your self liars all they do is do is is telling fob people off

The assistance from Tracey (& Longleigh) has been exceptional over the last few years when I've been in need of help and support, even though she's got way too many people vying for her attention.

Especially this time when I've just lost my mum, she'd been my biggest supporter, so my need for the extra support is now intensely great!

I'm sure she'd love to do more if she could.

I was made to feel relaxed when I went for a meeting with Gary about the property I was about to take over, i was shown the flat and asked if I was pleased with it and still wanted to accept, which I did, Gary explained all the paper work I was signing in detail and everything went smoothly.

Tracey was absolutely amazing throughout my whole housing process. Communication was amazing each week with updates and check ins.

My mother passed away in December, she owned her property, but the surrounding grounds were managed by Stonewater. However i notified them asap about the passing of my mother. I was asked to supply a copy of the death certificate and copy of the Will. All emailed back to them in a timely manner.
But still nothing has been done!! We are trying to sell the property and need confirmation from Stonewater with regards to the closing of the account etc... No one answers the emails or phone calls, kept waiting in a queue for ages !! This is a very difficult time for my family and this is the only thing outstanding. All other suppliers have been effective in responses. I dont know how you remain active as a business with such poor customer service. !!!! Received a call back 4.2.26 to say they will send me the sellers pack. lets hope this resolves my query.

The £150 door lock l had put on a year ago as my flat opend 3 times l would like it to be taken off with 3 keys and given to flat 13 who is moving in to my old flat she's a friend of mine contact Victoria Green end of rentals to Kelly Savage thank you

I took one look at this damp, mouldy, unloved property, & knew that Stonewater was bad news. I’ve been here several years now, nothing’s changed. They never do anything without a fight. If they do, they wreck at least several things in your home whilst trying to fix one. It’s such a shame as these properties could be so nice, if only they cared. The Wates contract’s a big mistake, each blaming the other for the problems that they cause us. It’s not like the rent’s cheap either, almost twice the cost of a council property. They won’t look after you, move in at your peril!

Erin, you can investigate as much as you like, but we both know that absolutely nothing will change. Believe me I’ve tried!

Stone water are dreadful. Allowing neighbours to ruin the building my son lives in and bully other neighbours. Regardless of how many complaints are made they ignore them and do nothing. My son's family have had their lives ruined. They are unable to go out because of this neighbour and this neighbour has taken over the communal area of the flats as his his own garden . Nothing has been done. The other flat occupiers are having to pay services charges for the up keep of a communal area they can't use. Stone water only cater to the bad tennants. This has been going on for some years. The bad tennant has a criminal record and left his former address to avoid being evicted.
