My husband went and bought a car and when he done test drive it’s fine but after 3 days it’s shown as engine fault . And we went to ask for returning the car . They deducted 400£ for returning car which of their fault . Please my kind request is don’t purchase any car from spirit trade centre . Their names are carol , Andy , James. These people belongs to sales and act very well until we buy car . We have been still asking for refund and they are not responding . They are money launderers be careful

Visited spirit in Leigh dealt with James who was great from start to finish very friendly, polite and knowledgeable great service would use again.

These spirit motors does not fit for 1star review also .Do not buy from these scam peddlers! We agreed to buy an advertised car for £2500. (that they didn’t have in stock yet) and booked a viewing and went to that place Now it’s in stock they have changed the price to £3000; the additional £150 allegedly for checkings they said ,and we argued for some time they finally fixed it for 3000£ .They admitted that they only advertised it as £2500 on Autotrader because it’s free to do so then put the price up after sale is agreed so they’re also scamming Autotrader. Now we took. Car and used for 1 day the very next day it has shown as engine fault. Bought a car pegout 2008 at the end of July not had it 6 days, and it's fit for nothing, tried to phone, to be fobbed off, AVOID!!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE. And also we checked over by a independent vat registered garage we found the car to be not fit for the road an dangerous.They are rude when we asked for money return and they are rudely saying that £500 we will be deducted and give £2500 and after lots for conversation they agreed to come and take car . But next when they came for car recovery they started playing drama again . Please stop buying from them . This is my genuine request . I will file case in the court as I have an all proofs and vedios and pictures of them . Andy is worst guy he is very nice when buying the car . Later he will not answer call when we have trouble with that car. I need my rest 400£ back or will go leagally and file a case . Finally these spirit motors will buy Rubish cars in cheap and modify this and sell us . Don’t buy from spirit motors these people are rubbish and cheaters and scammer Believe me . I need my remaining amount back. I can sue you on consumer court according to consumer rights act 2015. As I was returning the vehicle before 28 days of buying . I have every proof of your dramas.

Had a fantastic experience purchasing our car from Spirit, we dealt with Jade and she couldn’t do more for us! We couldn’t decide between two cars, so we test drove both, went for one, then reverted back to the other! She was so helpful, changed the paperwork for us straight away & also went for the 2 year warranty to give us piece of mind. Now we’re enjoying our soft top in the sun!

SINCE THEN NO COMMUNICATION SO I VE EMAILED TO CANCEL NO RESPONSE SO IVE CALLED AND AGAIN RUDELY SPOKEN TO AND TOLD IVE LOST MY DEPOSIT ...CAR IS BACK FOR SALE FOR MORE WITHIN 2 HOURS

All staff were super friendly, helpful and efficient. They got the car over from their other branch straight away and took a video of it. I queried how it would perform on motorway and Jay took it out for a drive and sent feedback. She also came in on her day off to our convenience to seal the deal. I was even asked if I would like a coffee ! And they allowed us to put down a refundable deposit until we could view it. Very happy with their service!

This company should not be trading they are selling uncategorized damage cars not declared to the insurance company. They have a garage round the corner from the showroom thats puts fake mots and repairs there damage cars. They have a guy called Andy selling the cars behide the owner Muhammed be careful as they have two names with Ltd on. One without) after trying for weeks get them to take my car back after the guy on the phone is rude and disgusting. After getting the car checked over by a independent vat registered garage we found the car to be not fit for the road an dangerous upon they did not allow us to drive it back to our home, front end was welded back together, panels glued on different parts fro lm different cars added basically a death trap knowing well we had two young children in that car, please stay very well clear of these cowboys they will take your money and run. Currently in the middle of taking them to court and trading standards have taken on my case and have stated they have had over 100 complaints in the 16 months in total we are 23k out of pocket.

I viewed a car that had just come in and hadn’t had the 115 check I put a deposit on it but unfortunately came bank with a problem I’ve been desperate to pick my new car up but as the checks still not right they won’t let me take the car what an amazing company fingers crossed passes next few days as they want the car to just right jade is amazing been keeping me updated Carnt wait pick my new car up thankyou so much.

Paid for car 26th March, so just less than three weeks ago. Since, complete silence from them for a few things I’ve told them about.

Car came with no satnav SD card which I was told would follow on. Outstanding 19 days.

Warranty was supposed to follow on too. Outstanding 19 days.

Split in seat material reported 29th March. I was told that they did not notice that but it is huge. Outstanding 16 days.

Driver’s side wiper crossing over beyond glass and clacking. Reported 2 April. I was told that this would be passed on to a maintenance man. Outstanding 12 days.

Engine warning light on from time to time. Reported 2 April. Outstanding 12 days.

Warning message “check hill climb assist” several times. First reported 3 April. Outstanding 11 days.

I have no paperwork for work done to the car so chased this 4 April. Outstanding 10 days.

On 11th April I mailed the company asking for feedback. The mail address does not work and my message bounced back.

Later that day on 11th April I had a call from someone at Spirit Motors checking that I was happy with the car. This must have been a routine type of call to a purchaser; the caller had no idea that I had raised any issues. I asked him to check and contact me. No feedback so far.

Today, 14th April, I have again emailed the company asking for a response within eight weeks of my first-reported issue; after that I can go to the Motor Trader Ombudsman. Again my mail bounced back.

Guess I’ll just have to wait until May……..

Gosh, the man on the phone (he wouldn't give me his name, as obviously knew he was rude) was soo soo rude. Never dealt with anyone as rude in a customer environment. Definitely need to invest in putting their staff on customer service course that's for sure. Totally put off even going to look at a vehicle...total arrogance!!! To be honest im glad i experienced this as it made me read all the terible reviews and not give them my money. Ditch the rude staff member and you'll probably find sales may rocket!!

Bought a car 30/11/23, had previously arranged a full inspection from the AA, this came back with some RED faults that basically meant do not buy unless fixed before purchase. The garage assured me this would be done and a new MOT issued with no advisories. The car was delivered to my home, I received no paperwork, the car had a fault, no heating, no air conditioning, the washer cap missing and a gash in one of the tyres. I reported this within 48 hours, there was also a 10k milage discrepancy between MOT's which they did not disclose. Under those circumstances I requested to return the car under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and I requested a Short Term Right to Reject. The dealership has refused to adhere to both of these legal obligations. I have had the car re-inspected by the AA who confirm that the same faults are there, I have also had a new MOT carried out and this shows more advisories that the one carried out by the dealerships selected MOT station. After several phone calls, emails and signed for letters I am now going to have to go to court to get my money back. The car is sitting un-used. Read the reviews in Google too, they tell a very similar story to mine on here.

Bought my second car from spirit,was taken through the sale by Jade who was attentive and not pushy. Good car for a decent price.
Good to deal with.
