Ashley and Martina in the Tunbridge Wells showroom were very helpful and knowledgeable (and patient with my young child who had come along!). I was after a specific design of bed and sofas, and a specific fabric range, and they helped me understand a few alternatives from the extensive range, and test out all the options. We had to rescope our project due to budget constraints (luckily before the sofas and bed had been made) and Sofas & Stuff were very accommodating of the changes. The access check team were very friendly and courteous, as were the delivery team. Overall a great experience and I would definitely use Sofas & Stuff again.

We bought our living room sofa from Sofas & Stuff a few years ago & have just returned for a corner sofa for the kitchen.

Exceptional experience from start to finish, both times. There was a small issue on the corner sofa & they insisted on taking it back to their workshop to make sure it was perfect.

Sofa started unravelling at the seams and they took zero responsibility, blamed me for damaging the sofa. This is after I’d spend a lot on a sofa, now days you can get so much cheaper on dusk - if the company doesn’t offer better after care there’s just no point spending the money. If you have any issues you’ll be left out of pocket. Avoid.

Mia at Wickhams Hall was really helpful as we made our choices of furniture and fabrics. Over our two visits to the showroom we were given space and time, excellent advice and help when needed. There was absolutely no pressure to make decisions or to place an order.
The furniture we ordered was ready slightly ahead of schedule and we were happy to take delivery. Charlie and Greg arrived on time and nothing was too much trouble and they couldn’t have been more helpful.
Altogether a super experience with this company. I am very happy to recommend them.

We have had our sofa (purchased for £4,800) for a year now and it still is rock hard to sit on. It's awful and despite complaining, Sofas & Stuff refused to allow us to return it. Having tested the same design in store, we were mis-sold when the saleswoman recommended a different fabric to the one in-store, then when we complained about the firmness of the sofa, later said it was probably due to this different fabric (that she had recommended) and that it would 'soften up after a few weeks'. SO disappointed that we spent so much on a sofa only to now need to sell & buy a different brand, as it's the most uncomfortable sofa we've ever sat on.

Duane and Paul delivered our new sofa on Friday. They were very polite and professional.

We recently received our sofa here in Germany. What can we say? We are overwhelmed. It is such a beautiful piece of craftsmanship and has such a special charm. We immediately fell in love with the sofa, so did our two tomcats, which led to some discussions. :-)Sofas & Stuff : highly recommended!

Our house is not the easiest to find or to deliver to, particularly with the lounge being on the first floor. Gary's driving skills negotiated all! He and colleague Jake did a great job carrying our large sofa up the stairs and installing. After placing our order with Helen (Bury St Edmunds store) - her help and advice was excellent - communications regarding delivery were seamless. All round great service!

Great service advised delivery would between 0700 and 0900 driver text me half hour before arrival and arrived on time. Nic and Gary were very professional bringing in the furniture unpacking and placing explaining stain procedures and contact details. All packaging remove . Great job.

My review is concerning order number SASM-ORD-HEN-1006134 which was placed 18th November 2022 at the Sofas & Stuff Henley Store. The sofa was delivered 1st February 2023 but was not quite as expected and contact was made with Sofas and Stuff using the “contact-us” chat room raising my concern. Arrangements were made by Sofas and Stuff for a HomeServe Furniture Repairs technician to visit and this took place Monday 6th February 2023.
Subsequent to this visit the sofa frame became increasingly apparent in the left armrest of the sofa, ie the frame could be felt through the left armrest. This is the area that the HomeServe technician worked on during the 6th February 2023 visit. A request was submitted by email to Sofas & Stuff Support 13th January 2024 requesting that a further technician's visit be arranged to determine if there was a problem with the frame or if the internal fabric of the armrest was disturbed during the 6th February 2023 visit. This technician's visit took place 25th January 2024. Although not stated at the time of the visit the technician reported subsequently that there was no existing fault with the sofa. The matter was not pursued further as my wife and I were on the cusp of relocating to Germany from Oxford.
My review is prompted by the email received Tue 20/01/2026 12:59 giving detail of the winter sale of Sofas & Stuff.

During the whole experience of choosing our furniture, there was no pressure or hard sell. The furniture sold itself! There was a very wide range of samples to choose from, and there was no rush. The delivery was made on date and time. Martin and Ross took utmost care bringing the furniture into our home. They removed their shoes without being asked. The furniture was placed exactly where we wanted it, and it looks fantastic. It is very comfortable too. This was proper old fashioned good service from start to finish. Thank you.

A big shout out to Estephania in the Bury St Edmunds branch. A fantastic experience from beginning to end. She really could not have done more.

Cannot thank Stephanie enough for her help, patience and guidance in helping us choose our new sofa, she has been wonderful! We spent a long time choosing, changed our minds mid way but absolutely love what we eventually decided on. It is perfect, exactly what we wanted in style, colour and comfort. I'm not sure we would have got there without Stephanie as there is so much choice and it's overwhelming but Stephanie worked hard to help us get there and we are very grateful. We love that it is British made and that we have gone for quality craftsmanship, it feels luxurious. Thank you so much to the team at Redbrick! Delivery was excellent too 👍

Very impressed with the excellent and attentive service from Sara and Sofa & Stuff, both in helping me choose a new sofa and ordering material. I can highly recommend this firm.

I purchased two expensive armchairs from this company and was extremely disappointed with the quality and transparency of the product. For the price point, I expected a high standard of craftsmanship, but the piping on both chairs was poorly joined and noticeably uneven. This is not what you expect from a premium purchase.

I also selected a mohair fabric, but at no point was I informed that this material can feel coarse or itchy. Had this been explained, I would have chosen differently. Clear guidance on fabric characteristics should be a basic part of the buying process, especially for items in this price range.

Overall, the combination of sub par finishing and lack of product information has left me feeling let down. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience and would urge future customers to ask very detailed questions before ordering.
