All went well up until the day of having the ventilation fitted . I was told that it would be mandatory to have this fitted in downstairs loo and utility but when the electrician turned up it was announced they would be putting an extractor fan in the middle of my kitchen wall with trunking leading down the wall and the utility and downstairs loo extractors would have the trunking across the ceiling , down the wall and the fans may be drilled through the lintels affecting the structural integrity of the house. Mmm 🤔 I called Simply Eco to try and discuss this and spoke to an incredibly rude member of staff who didn’t let me speak and kept asking me ‘what exactly don’t you get? ‘ when I said I was confused as to why this was their suggested way of adding ventilation. (Obviously nothing to do with them getting the most amount of money as they can 🙄) I said I needed to think about it as I didn’t want to go ahead with this method and have not heard from them since. Definitely do NOT recommend

We recently had a new boiler installed by Simply Eco through a government grant, and the experience from start to finish was very positive.

From the initial contact, everything was clearly explained, including the grant process and what work would be carried out. Communication was good throughout, and appointments were arranged without any issues.

On the day of installation, the engineers arrived on time and were polite, professional, and respectful of our home. In addition to fitting the new boiler, they also installed loft insulation and a fan. The team worked efficiently and were very thorough, taking the time to explain what they were doing and how everything worked once completed.

The installation itself went smoothly, and it was clear that care had been taken to ensure everything was done properly and to a high standard. The work areas were kept tidy, and everything was cleaned up at the end of the job, which was much appreciated.

Overall, the entire process felt well organised and stress-free. We’re very happy with the work that was carried out and grateful that it was fully funded through the government grant. Based on our experience, I would happily recommend Simply Eco to anyone considering a boiler replacement through the grant scheme.

The staff were friendly and helpful, always put you through to the correct department. There was a lengthy delay from the initial assessment to the installation. Quite a few times we were not informed when work was going to be carried out and a random call from a trades person was received. Not ideal if you are vulnerable. Office staff were always polite and friendly showing empathy. When a problem arose with the installation the aftercare team were efficient in replying and arranging an engineer to rectify the problem.

Friendly, supportive, knowledgeable and kind: everyone we dealt with at Simply Eco was brilliant. From the offset we weren't sure what was going to happen and how things ran? The staff went into every detail about the whole process. From the initial survey the staff took us through everything, they were lovely. When it came to our loft to be insulated the staff were experienced and helpful, there was an issue with our electric panel and the electrician went to great length to fix the problem and keep us going. The team that came to fit our boiler were very nice and made a great and clean job of the fitting it. It's a fabulous boiler and a massive upgrade for us. We feel alot better for the whole experience being with Simply Eco, they carried out everything they said to a fabulous standard with respectful and trustworthy staff. We couldn't have found anyone better.

Wow what can I say simply eco are great they took me through the whole process of the grant from the first contact to all the work being completed in about 9 weeks we had the following done

Trickle vents in windows

All the staff from the office people,surveyor and engineers were great,friendly and professional nothing was too much they made the grant application so easy did not think we would qualify but we did its a great service they provide i would highly recommend them

It all started with an initial discussion which worked its way into a clear project plan. The tradespeople have all been wonderful, expedient & punctual. The biggest thanks goes out to Adam who installed the boiler. He really went above and beyond, worked very hard and also stayed on point to fix a few snags. I really couldn't commend him enough. I was very fortunate to receive an energy grant through Simply Eco in 2025. There service from start to finish was very professional and a willingness to assist. They fitted a new boiler, a new ventilation fan in the bathroom and cavity wall insulation. We were also assigned a very competent gas engineer who fitted our boiler. All quality measures were put in place. Very happy with the service provided by Simply Eco and would definitely recommend them.

Can highly recommend this company, they were excellent to deal with from the application for a boiler to the installation. The correspondence was always good whilst I was waiting for funding to come through and the fitting was of the highest standard! Extremely neat and very efficient.

Due to my health issues we qualified for a boiler replacement, and surprised that our loft also required replacement insulation.
All communications were helpful and we were happy with the work that was carried out. Especially Dave who fitted the boiler, and radiator thermostats, a lot of work.
