I am very disappointed with my experience with Shaw flooring.

My hardwood flooring, installed in 2019, started getting damaged within just 5 years. The surface is chipping and peeling, and in some areas it has even caused minor injuries while walking barefoot. This is completely unacceptable for a product that is advertised with a 25-year warranty.

When I reached out to customer support, I did not receive any meaningful help. They kept asking for proof of purchase and directed me back to the dealer, even after I clearly mentioned that I no longer have those details. There was no effort from their side to investigate the issue or provide any alternative solution.

What’s more frustrating is the lack of response and follow-up. I had to wait weeks for replies, and even then, I was simply redirected without any real assistance. I even asked them to clearly confirm if they would not provide a resolution, but did not receive a direct answer.

At the very least, I expected some guidance on how to fix the issue, even if it was at my own cost. Unfortunately, they were not willing to help with that either.

Overall, this has been a very poor customer service experience, and I would not recommend relying on their warranty claims.

Do not use this company. Overpriced. Quoted us 50% of what the job actually cost in the end, so cost over double after getting 2 people to look at the room and give resonable estimate. And when i told them they quoted me half the price they said "yes for phase one" which is an error on their side that they didnt comminicate or take responsibility for, or send a quote via email. And any other company (i phoned around) could have done it for half. Im embarrased i used them. And the job they did is sub par anyway, bubbley and uneven, and will have to be finished by someone else who will be fitting my floor. They either have terrible communication or are bad at their jobs. Cheers for stealing £500 from me and my family during a financial crisis. Absolutely embarrasing company.

Floorte Luxury Vinyl Tile is priced approximately 60% more than similar LVT flooring available at large retailer home improvement stores. After reading reviews on LVT flooring I purchased over 2000 sf Of Shaw’s Floorte LVT for my beach house. LVT is advertised as a durable floor useful for heavy traffic and residential use. Floor was installed in June and shortly after moving in I noticed indentations throughout the the house. Anywhere furniture is placed there are indentations from the furniture legs- weight of furniture. It was especially noticeable where the kids pulled out a trundle bed. Shaw sent an inspector 75 days after installation. I was informed that Shaw denied the claim due to user malperformance! Apparently one MUST place floor protectors under every piece of furniture used on their flooring, indentations are excluded from the warranty. Wow, so disappointed this company does not stand by their product! Do not purchase their flooring, go to a big box home improvement store and buy their flooring for a third of the price.
