The cottage was really clean and homely. It felt like walking into your own holiday cottage with all the equipment needed to be self sufficient. Comfy beds and loved the fireplace.

Found a fantastic cottage in Connemara right on the beach, couldn’t have asked for anywhere nicer! Booking process was easy
The house the sea view just fantastic even on a dull day. Plenty to do on an evening board c Games excetra lovely for a quiet peaceful holiday would definitely go again

Nice annexe in lovely area, but was filthy when we arrived
This annexe has the makings of a nice vacation experience in a lovely part of Ireland. However, the filthy state in which the annexe was handy over to us severely marred our 1 week holiday. We spent several hours (after a very long drive !) cleaning the place. If this is the typical condition that the annexe is handed over to clients, I really couldn't recommend it.

Hello Kevin,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, further to your recent stay. We're very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the property and that you felt the need to clean upon arrival, this is certainly not the experience we want our guests to have.
We do ask that guests raise any issues with the homeowner or caretaker of the property as soon as possible during their stay, so that the matter can be addressed promptly. Our dedicated Holiday Support Team are also on hand during your stay and are more than happy to help.

You will shortly receive a request from Trustpilot asking you to verify your booking details. Please respond within the next 3 days so that we can investigate your comments further.
Thank you again for your feedback. If we can be of any assistance with booking your next holiday to Ireland, please get in touch.
Kind regards,
Hayley
Not sure I'd book with them again
I found this company harder deal with than other holiday rental companies. The arrival information was slow to arrive and I had difficulty changing my dates. If you are booking with them make very sure you have all your information correct. I'm not sure I would book with them again.

Lack of inspection
Shamrock Cottages should regularly inspect the cottages they rent out and determine whether they still meet the requirements and specifications and description.
Furthermore, the photos of the objects must also be kept up to date.
