I was very pleased with my experience. I was more than pleased with the help I received with purchasing a new hi-fi, and was helped along the way in choosing, with my budget in mind. You don't just buy, you get to experience the equipment, and that is good.

Very happy with the service. Was able to listen to as many multiple amp and speaker combinations in the listening room as desired. Really able to spend a lot of time with various types of music listening to real products which is impossible to duplicate by watching youtube reviews. The recommendations made to me were fundamentally excellent and in accordance with my needs and sensitive to my budget. Plus the guys there love music and hi fi.

Excellent and very helpful advice in the shop on the various possible options to replace my old CD transport and separate DAC. Agreed purchase and home delivery the next morning. However having waited in for that had an email saying an unexpected problem would only be solved within 24 hours with no other communication offered.

Picking the phone up and talking to a human that was very knowledgeable regarding the headphones and ensured my order would be delivered without delay.

I enjoyed a great demo in the demo room and was able to hear the speakers with the music I enjoy. With some great help in listening to different speakers and coming to the decision I made was kept upto date with when the speakers would be available.

Very disappointed that I made a request for the DPD driver to leave the parcel in a safe place but he would not do so. My trusted neighbour offered to take the parcel in for me, but again the driver would not allow this. There will be another delivery attempt tomorrow, but I will not be available to take personal delivery. If the driver won’t leave the parcel AS REQUESTED it can be returned to SSAV for a full refund! My default delivery preference with DPD is set to “Leave in a safe place” which up until now has been perfectly adequate. I can understand why SSAV would want to protect the goods while in transit, but this should have been made clear to me before completing the purchase. I could have then made the purchase from a different vendor.

I enquired to buy a JBL300MK2 soundbar from sevenoaks as I found a Google offer which gave me £100 off the initial price however the first branch I phone as I couldn't do the voucher code online wasn't very helpful. But I done a chat and Richard from the Leeds branch managed to deal with my enquiry and get the deal done with the voucher code promise. So one happy customer. I would recommend if you need any audio or visual equipment.

I recently bought a pair of Monitor Audio Silver 100 8G speakers, stands and Chord speaker cable from Sevenoaks and I've been extremely impressed with the whole experience.

What I particularly appreciated was that it felt like dealing with people who actually understand hi-fi rather than simply trying to make a sale. I was given good advice around the speakers, stands and cabling, and they were very helpful in getting the whole package sorted.

They also gave me a really good deal on the complete package, which made an already great experience even better.

Most importantly, I'm absolutely delighted with the system. The Silver 100 8Gs have turned out to be a huge upgrade and, after getting everything set up properly at home, they sound fantastic.

Knowledgeable, helpful service, no pressure and a genuinely great buying experience. I'll definitely be using Sevenoaks again for future hi-fi purchases. Highly recommended.
