First class service provided at Sevenoaks store
First class service provided at the Sevenoaks store today. After speaking earlier in the morning with sales consultant Alec Dent and even though a short notice visit, Alec set up the two Naim products for demonstration in one of the listening rooms (Naim Unity Atom and Unity Nova). I was able to take my own speakers along to listen to and also tried two others while at the store. Alec went out of his way to accommodate and was professional, patient and courteous throughout.
Couldn’t be happier with my experience at store. Purchased Naim Unity Nova after demonstration. Superb product with more than sufficient current to drive various PMC speakers I currently own. Atom was also a great product but Nova was clear winner between the two. Great synergy between Naim Unity Nova and PMC speakers.
A big thanks again to Alec Dent for his assistance throughout my visit. Well done!

Bad service
Bad service, bad communication and I feel like I've been scammed by Sevenoaks in Cambridge. I bought 2 PSB M4U 9 headphones but one was apparently damaged in the box. When I told what happened, they blamed me. How can I have done anything about it, if they were in the box? This is how I unboxed them.
They didn't offer any form of compensation or whatsoever.

Having reviewed the full email correspondence with our Cambridge store from October and November 2025, we strongly disagree with your account of events.
At no point did our team accuse you of damaging the headphones. When you reported the issue, we promptly offered to replace the affected pair, simply requesting that the damaged headphones be returned first.
As you live in the Netherlands and purchased the headphones in person from our Cambridge store, we explained that we were unable to arrange an international collection. Nevertheless, as a goodwill gesture, we offered to send the replacement headphones to your nominated UK address entirely at our expense.
Our team responded extensively to your emails, answered your questions and made every reasonable effort to accommodate your circumstances.
In your final email on 4 November 2025, you thanked our team for clarifying the arrangements and confirmed that you would keep us updated regarding the return.
However, the damaged headphones were never returned to us, nor did we receive any further correspondence from you.
We therefore find your allegations of being blamed for the damage, receiving poor communication and being offered no resolution particularly disappointing.
We offered a straightforward replacement and made arrangements to accommodate your circumstances. The only reason that replacement did not proceed was that the original headphones were never returned.
Discount and extra service
Merely popped in for speaker stands as a quick fix until I can upgrade my bookshelf’s and I got a decent pair at a discount and they were built for me to carry away. Thank you all. Brilliant service.

Focal provided poor customer service…
Focal provided poor customer service but Sevenoaks were very good at compensating and tidying up for them.
Focal - take a leaf form the historic excellent customer service provided by Naim - whom you own and are degrading imo. Brand reputation is BIG in high end audiophile communities....
