Misleading prices.

I went to buy a sofa from the Tunbridge Wells store and I also requested the sofa premium care package which was advertised as only £99 on the sofa. However when the final price was given the price of the sofa was different from that advertised and I was informed that it was a website and main offices issue and not the stores. I then pointed out the price of the sofa in store and was told it was also incorrect.....I them questioned the care package as its also advertised as ONLY £99 but again the prices was increased to £119 pound at check out...

The staff members and managers kept saying it's a new store layout and website and SCS haven't got it right yet....if it's not right you shouldn't be advertising something online and definitely no in store.

Disgusting, underhanded price increases that most would not have realised had happened. I'm utterly disappointed by this tactic. I have complained to SCS but received no reply.

Really friendly and welcoming staff who took time to get to know what we were looking for and demonstrate different options. Not pushing a sale, but allowed us to go away and consider on 2 occasions before coming back to buy.

Kathy was amazing on each visit and made me feel comfortable on entering the shop for the first time, and remembering me and family on subsequent visits.

Customer service was extremely good and the assistant had great knowledge about the product including information on insurance. I was most impressed!

We visited the store to look at sofas with our two daughters on Saturday 8/6/24. Our youngest is autistic and was wanting to try out every seating option. The staff helping us (Ben & Cathy) could see that we were getting a bit anxious about the situation and said not to worry and to let her explore. It is always appreciated when people are understanding of children with SEN and help rather than judge! Once feeling more at ease, we picked out and ordered a lovely new sofa. The sofa was delivered on Wednesday 28/8/24 by a Father and Son duo. Both were polite and helpful. Great service all round. Thank you!

We would like to thank Adele at the Tunbridge Wells branch, for being so helpful over the bank holiday weekend, yes we spent 3 days in and out of the shop, she helped our daughter buy a new sofa for her flat, which was not an easy task and also helped my husband and I buy a new sofa as well. Well done Adele for being so helpful and patient.

Spent a considerable amount of time at their Tunbridge Wells store. Customer service from Cathy was exceptional. She guided us through the process of choosing the right sofa. Beautifully Italian made product with lots of colours and textured fabrics to choose from.

Ben and the staff were very patient and helpful, even phoning around other stores to check other possible solutions to what was available in store.

Were not rushed into making a purchase. Everything was explained including Guarantees, operation of the controls, and options for configuration of seating.

My husband and I visited your shop in Tunbridge wells where we were greeted by a lovely lady called Claire she was so helpful and knowable, she found us a lovely sofa that met all are needs she is a credit to your company.

Nathan was the member of staff who greeted us as we walked in the store. He asked if we were looking for a sofa. We were and I told him what we were looking for. After searching on his tablet I came up with what I was looking for on my phone. Unfortunately it turned out that what I was looking for was an online exclusive. I told him I wouldn’t buy anything without sitting on it first. He voiced that he understood. He asked me what budget I had and we went from there. He was thorough in explaining the types of padding used for each sofa I looked at. I had in my mind what I wanted and he was able to show me furniture that was relevant as opposed to looking at everything. He wanted to sell me extras which I declined and wasn’t pushy trying harder to sell them to me. He explained clearly when my furniture could arrive and was happy with his explanation. I told him we had already had a bad experience with another furniture store. He told us our purchase was British and made in York which I took as being more reliable.
