Rented from them Oct 16 - car was running "rough" & misfiring. Contacted then to arrange an exchange & returned the car to AGP. Found them difficult to get hold of & often they would not answer (interestingly a call from another mobile no. was !!!!). They said they would sort the car out ASAP but in the event did nothing, not even calling me back as promised or at the beginning of the following week when they suggested they might be able to provide a replacement.
All in all, a bad deal - a car unfit for purpose & no customer service. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS THIS CAR RENTAL COMPANY (still waiting for a response from them to my email on return to the UK, I will not be holding my breath).

Do not use this company (rentacarspain.com). I prebooked the car and when I landed at the airport my representative was not there. I left it 30 mins and nothing. I rang the company and was answered and put on hold. The line then went dead. I tried to phone back but no answer. After 20 mins they called and said that there will not be a car as it's at the mechanics! I asked,so how long for the car to be fixed? His reply is unbelievable! I am not a mechanic! I was stranded at the airport with my wife & 6 year old daughter. We were so upset. We tried to book with another company but they were quoting ridiculous prices. We were stranded!!!!! In the end after about 2 hours of rental queues we got a car but at an extra cost to our original booking. DO NOT USE THEM. YOU CAN'T GET HOLD OF ANYONE AND THEY DIDN'T CARE THAT I WAS STUCK IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY. USELESS! Incompetent company.

Nous attendons le remboursement des 390 euros de caution depuis 3 semaines. Aucune réponse à nos nombreux mails de relance alors qu'à la prise du vehicule il est dit que le remboursement se fait dans un maximum de 15 jours.
Retour du vehicule fait le 6 juin 2016. A ce jour 1er juillet aucun remboursement et le plus inquiétant aucune réponse à nos mails de réclamation

It has been the Most bad experience ever renting a car, and I have rented cars a Lot of times.

1) Rentacarspain rep was 20 minuts delayed. I had to call the Office several times.
2) The car was very old and full of Scratch
3) They charged €30 Insurance for tires and Glass. The rate increased from €80 to €80+€30+€20 due to Insurance and fee for deliver the car back before 8.
4) They dubbelcharged the deposit and rent by mistake. (They transferred the money back when I told Them)
5) It took More than a Month to get my deposit back

They have old cars!

Turned up at Malaga airport with my rental voucher showing €36 for my car plus €20 for out of hours service charge, for a 6 day car hire. We met the rep, who was very nice and he walked us to the car. The car was dirty, with lots of marks on from previous "scrapes" . The rep said we could go through and note all the marks on the sheet, I think we would have been there a long time. He then tried to charge me €30 for wheels and glass cover insurance. I told him that I already had cover for this from a credit card I hold, but he advised it was compulsory. I questioned why this was not shown on my hire voucher, or relating info, if it was compulsory. He then advised I had to pay €370 as a deposit against accident, which would be held for 20 days, although my voucher stated I was fully insured. This was the deal breaker I walked away.

I have rented cars several times, and allways I have write for my deposit, in there terms stands all inclucive, but when you pick up the car they ask for other insurence like tiers and glasses. Often their cars are defect, and you have to go to Malaga and spend times on that.
Last time I rented a car they had made a withdraw on my account, for parking i that parkinkhouse I was told, but 3 days before, and I have called them 4-5 times, send them an e mail, before I left the car, and when I left the car I send them an SMS where they I have placed the car. subsequent I have called them but i belive the guy was not allowed to say anything at all, so I send another e mail, but no respons. So when I get back tomorrow I get to the Policia and make a review and after that a lawyer. Hasta Pronto Rent a Car Spain.

First you get quite old cars and if there is a problem you have to go to there own garage in Malaga and spend houers there

Desposit they say the just book BUT they take it directly from the creditcard and you can use plenty of time to get it back MONTH

and mail they only replay on when you book the phone they newer take

KEEP AWAY IF YOU WANT A SERIOS COMPANY TO RENT CAR FROM in Malaga

Don't book with this company. We booked 48 hours in advance. Received confirmation email and told the e-voucher would be sent within 24 hours. Never heard anything from them. Called them on way to airport and they said they were overbooked and could do nothing for us. Left in limbo. Awful service, not professional.

We have been using Rentacarspain.com many times and it was the first time that we have had problems.
I have now got my deposit back and everything is ok.
We will be renting a car from there again.
