Excellent customer service and where extremely helpful in getting me a suit jacket from one of their stores in Scotland

Great clothing but even better customer service. Had to exchange an online order for a different size and they couldn't have been more helpful. Very personable and professional, which is unique in today's online marketplace.

I was in search of a specific tie and handkerchief set for our wedding that had been recently discontinued. After contacting customer services, they were extremely helpful in locating one for me from one of their stockists and then posted it out to me once they had received back into their stock.
I was particularly impressed with how helpful and friendly Barbara and Fiona were in the customer services department, thank you so much.

I had a problem with a rivet on my jeans. The customer service was excellent - friendly staff, kept me updated, extremely helpful and got it sorted for me quicker than I expected. I was impressed and want to give credit where it is due.

I used to be a regular customer of Remus when I lived in Nottingham but moving to South Wales finished my connection with the brand. Some years later I saw them on Facebook and thought I'd renew the connection. Being unsure if it was still as good as I remembered, I just put in an order for a couple of T Shirts. And I was delighted on receipt to find that it is still a very good mens clothing supplier
Perhaps even better because of the slick mail order delivery.The packaging and presentation was of the same high quality as the goods

I visited the Glasgow Braehead store recently. I was looking for trousers. I had no expectations. What I experienced was the best service and choice I have seen in many years! From the onset, Steve was attentive and understanding when I explained I was fed up with trousers that fit okay. I wanted trousers that fit me properly. Sean joined the conversation and both gentlemen helped me and my wife (who was really making all the decisions!) - pick the right trousers which are fantastic. I would say the treatment we got was personal, professional and amiable. Their product knowledge is excellent. A great range but I cannot stress enough what a difference great customer service makes.

The quality of the Remus Umo suits seemed perfectly acceptable, but the overall experience was significantly undermined by the staff and their policies.
I visited the store twice hoping to find the right assistance:

• First Visit (Staff Member 1): The individual I dealt with appeared to have very limited knowledge regarding suit sizing, fit, and general sartorial details. They were unable to explain different trouser breaks and, regrettably, seemed to laugh off my questions about specific alterations, which felt unprofessional.

• Second Visit (Staff Member 2): This interaction was slightly better, as the second staff member was polite and had some suit knowledge. However, they also seemed to dismiss or laugh at my requests for certain materials and bespoke alterations. Given that I have been a devoted suit wearer for decades and have extensive experience with different tailors, this lack of respect for a customer's knowledge was disappointing and made it clear they did not care about the sale.

The store's policy on alterations is extremely limited: they can only alter trousers, with no tailoring available for the jacket or vest.

Finally, I found their sizing very restrictive. The fact that they seemingly cannot provide a suit for someone who is 5'7" is quite worrying for a dedicated suit retailer.

Overall, the limited sizing, lack of alteration options, and the staff's unprofessional attitude and lack of knowledge ultimately put me off. I would not recommend this store
