Remote Control Express Omdömen 

We were in urgent need of a new remote control. We had to have it by Saturday. The website of the company promised express delivery, by the latest Friday. I placed the order on Wednesday. We paid £13 for this favour. Well, Friday came and went. I emailed the company (who, on the invoice, are known as Allo Remote Control) that the tracking number can not be found and where is the remote. Monday morning, the tracking number was active but I could see that it was only posted on Friday (probably after my email). I asked the company if I can get my £13 pounds back for the express delivery. their answer was no, that it is the Brexit fee (#eyeroll) and that they do not do express. I went on to the site again and it explicitly say £6.99 for normal delivery and now £18.16 for express. If you are in a hurry, then please don't be fooled by express delivery. It is just more expensive not any quicker.

I'm changing my perception of this company.
I have received my goods today.
So great satisfaction!
I would like to suggest that the company change communication policy.
My fears were based on - no information at any time.
Therefore, I would suggest the company to be much more informative about ordering, delivery and so on.
And do not use silent procedure.

Items arrived quickly, no problems.

This is the second review you have sent obviously you haven’t took much notice of who you send your reviews to and on that your customer service is rubbish as stated in my previous review

They are not based in UK! Took over a week to arrive. Remote does not work! Telephone 'helpline' is a recorded message in German with no assistance. Contacted customer service as have to sign up to newsletter to get the instructions and even then they are useless. This is the reply I got

The HR CRISTAL remotes tend to be a bit quirky about programming with some brands.

ie, It does not work and we know that but they recomended that to be a direct replacement for the Horrmann. I can return but at my expense. Would rather bin it and tell everyone to stay away.

Ordered a large quantity of remotes which were required to be handed to my customer in a few days time, on checking the dispatch information a week later the remotes had not been sent out, I contacted RCX by email to cancel the order to which I was told the goods had been dispatched and I now needed to refuse the delivery when it arrived which I did, left it a week and requested a refund to which I was informed RCX had not received to goods back and produced paperwork from UPS stating the goods had been delivered to Tamworth UK not Epsom and signed for by a person of a different name and apparently at 2.58 AM. I contacted UPS and was informed the goods were being held in a holding warehouse as they had not been instructed to return the parcel to RCX, I then informed RCX what UPS had told me and provided RCX with the phone numbers of UPS UK and France for them to make contact this was on the 28th July, now I am not even getting replies to my emails from RCX, GOOD LUCK IF YOU WISH TO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY

Took a while to arrive but put innards from old remote into new casing without any issues and it works perfe tly

This company is so helpfull found me a great replacement for my old garage door unit. they sourced it, set it up and sent it quickly 10/10 Also great communications

After receiving answers from other suppliers, saying that my old remote control can't be replaced any more, this company offered a solution.
I ordered the device they suggested.
Received it within the 5 days delivery period.
Set the dipswitches in the same position as on my old remote and...it just works perfectly !!!
Good price and, they even supplied an extra battery with it.
I'm very satisfied !

I have ordered a remote from this company on more than one occasion and have always found them to be very helpful and efficient. Their website is easy to use and find the right remote and ordering is simple. The communication on the progress of the order is very good and I would definitely recommend them.

They don't even respond to detailed complaints. Be careful if you need to return goods. They are not likely to assist you if you do.

Was charged twice for one order. Thought this would be relatively easy to resolve and refund but I was very wrong. Please save yourself the time and stress and do not order from this company. I can’t believe they are still allowed to trade. They are quick enough to take your money (twice), but are completely uninterested past that point.
When I contacted customer services about the issue in the first instance I was told I hadn’t been charged twice. I sent proof of the payment leaving my bank account twice and was told the query had been sent to the bookkeeping team. Then I was ignored for a week, I left multiple messages with no response at all. I phoned customer services and was told they can’t look into it over the phone and an email must be sent. The latest excuse is that I need to take it up with PayPal, meanwhile they are telling Paypal there is no issue. They will do anything possible to con the customer out of their hard earned money. What kind of reputable business would behave in this way.
A simple issue has cause me a lot of stress and so much time wasted. I urge people not to use this company. At very best you will be waiting at least 2 weeks for the delivery from France.

You have commented below you will try harder in the future but you haven’t made any effort or resolved my issue and have stolen my money. Why don’t you refund me???? Ridiculous. The company are criminals and certainly not a legitimate business.

DON'T BUY IF YOU FROM UK!!!
FedEx will charge you additional VAT and £12 Disbursement Fee!
Shame for the company,they do not stated that you have to pay additional charges on top of your invoice upon delivered.
My invoice clearly stated remotes price plus 20% VAT,plus shipping(all prices in GBP),but they saying,that this price only for remotes without VAT,very tricky guys and company.
DON'T BUY ,until you ready to pay extra charges!

Used these time after time and always a great service

I never ordered as I noticed the price varied for the same item depending on what link I clicked. If it offered the lower price it then charged £18 for P&P (this is outrageous for 2 small garage remote controls) but if it offered me the higher item price then P&P reduced to £13 so basically the same overall price. Does not seem to be open and transparent on their pricing so avoided.
