This App is a big joke, I enter receipts for two years straight and at the end when I wanted to claim my rewards, the suspended my account and never received anything from them

They suspend your account if you don’t submit for 30 days. Ok fine. But they keep whatever you had earned and when they suspend your account they only give an option to contact them if you don’t agree with why they suspended you.

This app is a scam. I saved my points for months to redeem for a $20 gift card. Apparently my account went under review, redemption was declined, and my account suspended. They said I was using receipts which weren't mine, which is not the case. Due to illnesses and old age, I am responsible for shopping for several members of my family. What a waste of time. If you're using this app, try to cash-out at $5. This is a terrible way to do business!

Receipt Jar is garbage they banned my account after two months of submitting receipts for a pathetic $10 payout saying the receipts were not mine when they were. Then when I asked for their proof because I didn’t believe them and how they knew the recipients were not mine they provided nothing after multiple requests. They just made that up and wasted my time so they didn’t have to pay out. I provided all the same receipts I did to ReceiptJar to other receipt apps like Fetch, Receipt Hog, Coinout, Receipt Pal and Swagbucks and none of those had any problem with the same receipts and cashed them out. Receipt Jar is a scam and complete trash don’t waste your time with these crooks!

Updated T&Cs suspends your account after 30 days of inactivity. Inactivity means not scanning an offline receipt. Yet if the account is suspended any online receipts you submit while suspended still counts. I don’t mind losing the points and restarting but you should not be accepting and counting any receipts submitted as points when the account is suspended and then resetting it back to 0.

This company is atrocious. They suspended my account for absolutely no reason making claims that were completely untrue and had no evidence to back it up. They even took money away that was being redeemed and headed into my account. Your conduct is disgusting and I will make sure to tell everyone to steer clear of your app.

So once again I'm writing a negative review. They finally answered my email and said that they think some of my reciepts are not from my household. What proof is there of that. Why take all my points and just not the ones they think are suspect
The answer is they just don't want to pay. I will not stop with the negative reviews until this issue is resolved. All reciepts were viewed and approved from the very beginning and now they say they don't meet the guidelines. SO BEWARE OF THESE RIPOFF AND SCAM ARTIST.

I collected receipts for over a year and scanned them into the app, but when I wanted to take my legally earned, hard-earned, and time-consuming 50 dollars, they decided not to pay me such a huge amount. They found a reason not to pay, but they didn't explain it. They just blocked my account and that's it. I wrote to them, but to no avail. Don't waste your precious time on these scammers.

Don't bother with down loading this cash APP.
When it comes time to redem your points, they will come up with a reason for you NOT to get your reward card.Below was the reason they sent me.

❌ Invalid Receipts – distracting background, crinkled, and EFTPOS receipts.

While some receipts may have passed our initial automatic checks, they didn’t meet our manual review standards.

To avoid this in the future, please ensure your receipts are:
Clear, upright, and well-lit
On a plain background with no other receipts in the picture
Showing all key details (store name, date/time, items and their amount, and total)

SCAM! Tried to cash out for my $50 card and my account was suspended for receipt diving they called it. All the receipts I posted were from my household as I explained to them in an email. They basically accused me of stealing and I told them I wanted to speak to a manager/supervisor, needless to say they stop responding. Don’t waist your time of this scam of an app. They are NOT going to send you any rewards. And they are jerks!!!

After three years, I was suspended and of course, lost whatever points I had. Thank you, receipt Jar for being complete assholes.

My account was suspended also but unknown reasons. Allegedly I was breaking the rules which all I did was use receipts for my family and upload when I tried to cash in my $20 receipts. It took me almost 3 months to get there. They told me I was suspended because I broke the rules and they didn’t pay my money so be careful if you start redeeming too much. They won’t pay you and suspend you until you book the rules like I didn’t me!

Used this app for a full year, then went to cash out for a $40 gift card & they said I violated their terms. Don’t waste your time with them.

Once the time comes for them to pay they’ll find any excuse not too. They are accusing me of fraud, but show no evidence. Total waste of my time. Receipts Hog and Fetch are a better option.

Do not use this company they will not pay out for legitimate receipts. I am looking into suing them right now or filing a class action. They will suspend a legitimate account and they do not pay out. Do not use this app.

They wait until you redeem to say that your account is suspended for whatever reason either you have 2 accounts or suspicious receipts etc… I do not recommend this app it should be shut down!

⚠️⚠️⚠️Please beware ReceiptJar uses malware to generate App password in your yahoo mail account so they can access your emails for weird reasons. Go to your yahoo mail account under security and make sure they did not generate App password.

My account has just been suspended for reasons that are not true. They have no grounds at all and yet they can just do whatever they want. They suspended my son's account just last month, accusing him of having two accounts, which is not true. If they can't afford to pay out the e-gift cards, then they should just terminate the app altogether rather than wasting people's time!

Don't use app . It's a waist of time ,once you build up points to cash out . They find a reason to suspend your account. I have read bad reviews everywhere about reciept jar.. Just read reviews before waisting your time. It's on all of them.. thanks for nothing reciept jar.....👎

ReceiptJar is the biggest scam, as soon as I tried to withdraw, boom, I received an email stating that my account has been suspended, all efforts to reach them on emails proofs abortive.
