I already cashed out multiple times and as long as you followed and agreed to their guidelines, everything was smooth! Some says its a scam they probably tried to upload too many receipts, most of people do that even if it's not their own purchase. I think Receipt Jar is very strict when it comes to that, they probably have some ways to know that! What matters it, they gave me money! lol

Waste of time. Have the receipts they claim issue. Then they suspend account. I deleted before they did that.. I found odd it took days and sent and email.i was reading reviews because of. They are complete trash. Been using receipt hog and coin out love them. DON'T USE RECEIPT JAR!!!!!!!!

I would give zero stars if I could. After over a year of faithfully uploading receipts and saving more than $100 in rewards, Receipt Jar banned my account with no clear justification right when I tried to cash out. Their accusations were vague, and customer service was completely unhelpful—ignoring all my requests for evidence and refusing to pay. I submitted the same receipts to other apps like Fetch and Receipt Hog, which accepted them without issue and paid out promptly. Receipt Jar’s behavior is deceptive and feels like a scam designed to waste your time and never pay you. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

WHAT FRAUD AND A SCAM!
If I only had read reviews prior to using this app and wasting my valuable time uploading receipts only for the first time to 'cash in' a total of $35 only to be denied access now and no payout. What a joke.

I have been doing receipts with this company for many years. Today, I went in to scan my receipt and it said my account was suspended. I have never violated their policies, so why would they dweebs suspend my account? I just cashed in for a reward. I will be done with these scammers after today. Shut the whole company down at this point.

They suspended my account erroneously and refused to help me. Scam, stay away!

They eventually will ban you. I uploaded real receipts and right after i requested a payment they suspended my account. Terrible app!

Tried to cashout at $10 dollars, but then they suspended my account. Didn't specify why, just gave me a list of possible reasons. Don't waste your time on this app. They look for any little excuse to denied your payment and ban you. But they don't mind taking all your data in meantime.

I’ve used ReceiptJar for over 3 years, uploading hundreds of real receipts and spending time on long surveys (sometimes 15 minutes or more). I redeemed successfully before, but this time, right when I was about to cash out, they suspended my account.

They claimed they sent me a “confirmation email” that I never saw — because it went straight to my junk folder. Because I didn’t reply within 14 days, they cancelled my redemption and suspended me. Conveniently, their suspension notice landed directly in my inbox, while the important email landed in junk.

I immediately reached out to support, multiple times. They completely ignored me. Yet on the App Store, they reply to negative reviews telling people to “just email [hello at receiptjar.com]
and we’ll review your case.” I did exactly that, several times, and was ghosted.

It feels like they’ve found a way to keep your data (receipts and surveys) while avoiding payouts. Meanwhile, Receipt Hog has always processed my redemptions smoothly and made me feel valued.

After years of loyalty, I feel used and cheated. Warning to anyone thinking of downloading: don’t waste your time.

I used to like this app, but I was suspended simply because I didn’t respond to their email about my rewards. I was busy taking care of my daughter and completely forgot about it. I also had no idea there was a 10-day deadline. After all the hard work I put in, they took my $20 reward and suspended my account. I’ve emailed them multiple times — they replied, but nothing was resolved. What a disappointing experience. It feels heartless to lose everything I earned this way.

I would zero stars if I could. I've had my account for over a year and I just got deactivated and denied my payput. The reason they gave was that my receipt scans were cluttered and contained other receipts. For reference, I either scan on a counter top or another flat surface and I've never scanned more than 1 receipt at a time. They wouldn't reply to my email to show me what they mean so that I could fix the problem.

Bullshit company banning my account so they don't have to pay me. They banned my account as soon as I tried to redeem my reward. Saying, I violated the terms and agreement even though I follow the rules. Offers no proof and no explanation. Stay away!

They don’t even get a star. They are suspending peoples accounts for no reason.. keeping their points for themselves after we do all the work. Thieves do not use rip off. I’m not the only one they stole from.

If I could just give them 0. I claimed $20 and they sent me an email stating my receipts were blurry and suspended my account. SCAMMER!!!!

Absolutely terrible. They suspended my account as I was trying to withdraw my points (very suspicious), and no word before that point. Just an email that they’re not paying me the redemption amount and no details on what receipts flagged it, no warnings or previous messages. Very shady app and customer service.

Absolutely rubbish. A lot of the time the receipts are rejected for no reason. The shakes are a joke. The disputes are never resolved and getting vouchers is hard work. An absolute waste of time

Money Scam:
Several negative reviews. When you ask for cash out even for $5.00, they just suspend or close your account by making any excuse. HORRIBLE MONEY SCAM. It's a time to report to BBB and media coz, $5 x multiple customer = BIG money scam.

Originally I loved the app. I was able to cash out several times but then in the last 6 months I have tried to cash out twice (because it takes that long to get enough points to cash out) and both have been rejected due to blurry receipts or suspicious activity. I was told that I got an email (I've searched in all the folders in my email) and I never received the email. They are not returning my points. I would highly suggest to use any other receipt app. Besides this one I use seagbucks, fetch and receipt pal

They started to steal customers money/rewards. It was good a year or 2 ago but they have thieves inside now. Don't waste your time scanning receipts. There are too many apps like that to even bother. Receipt hog even is better or good old Fetch. I'm closing my account there.

You wait 5-7 days for little stupid $3-$5 for them to "suspend" your account because of ongoing "clutter" in back round. What does what's in my back round have to do with my receipts? Also remember the DAY u get receipt scan it or you will be accused of "not your receipts " smdh
