6 seater Marston dining set.Poor quality furniture. Arrived in scruffy condition with scratches on glass top ,rattan itself was dirty and scratched. It looked like it was pre owned not brand new.

I ordered 4 dining chairs and phoned to check that the stock was still available in the sample colours I had been sent. They sent me a photograph of the current stock immediately, which was very helpful. The furniture arrived promptly and I am delighted with the quality. I would definitely order from this company again.

Bought table and chairs a few year ago…
Bought table and chairs a few year ago and it is still looking as good as new. We have had to replace the cover supplied with it due to UV damage. When we first bought it one of the chairs wobbled but it was replaced quickly with no argument.

3 months still not had my refund
Still waiting for my refund. I am sure the company realise this should be done in 14days as that is what consumer law says. I have contacted Watchdog who will look into this and I will now have to go to court for my £738.
Such a shame as I have bought of them
twice with out issue, but when a company makes up silly excuses saying I'm in the queue for my refund, up dating there returns system, moving warehouse it starts to ring alarm bells to me
Note reply standard response systems changing etc etc, if they cared about their customers they would process the refunds. Having been on to company's i see why they are keeping people's money.

Good overall quality and service
I have bought quite a lot of furniture from Rattan Direct and have been really happy with the quality and delivery. We had a recent issue with one item and Rattan Direct resolved the issue quickly. My only negative is that it can take quite a while to get through to them by phone and when they promise to phone you back, they do not always do so.

Good quality furniture, long lasting
When we first bought our outdoor furniture from Rattan 5 years ago we knew we had made the right choice because of the quality and standard of the furniture.
And now 5 years later our furniture is still looking like new because we put the covers over them through the winter months and put our cushions in the loft. The customer service team are very polite and are always helpful even after 5 years. Buying this furniture from Rattan has been real value for money.. The furniture is easy to clean with a hose pipe or jet wash. The furniture we have is 13 piece Barcelona Cube set Parasol, and Storage box for the cushions during the summer. And they are all still in very good condition.

Badly run company
The customer service and aftercare is diabolical. Following a mixup with our delivery we were offered £70 in compensation back in July. To date still not received. Each time we phone we get a young girl who advises the refund is”pending” with finances. As a last resort I emailed Mr Robert Fernandez the MD and surprise surprise no reply. It’s a shame the company is so badly run as the furniture was very nice. We would definitely not recommend this company.

We ordered an outside set of rattan…
We ordered an outside set of rattan table and chairs when we first moved into our house 12 years ago and was very pleased with the quality of the product and service we received. The set is still going strong today. About three years later we added an outdoor seating area to the set and that is still going strong. I would definitely recommend this company and if we required any further outdoor furniture Rattan Direct would be the first company I would turn to, not only for the quality but because they go that extra mile when dealing with their customers. We wish them well in the future as they are a family run business, which we should encourage. I much prefer to deal with this type of company than a nationwide conglomerate where customer service can sometimes be at the bottom of their list of priorities.

Table and chairs good as new
We’ve had our table and chairs for a few years now and they are still as good as new. For the last 12 months the glass topped table has been outside without a cover, putting up with the winter and storms (cover ripped and we didn’t get round to replacing it) the rattan has kept its colour as if it was new. We have recommended the company to others and would use again.

2nd purchase from Rattan Direct 1st was…
2nd purchase from Rattan Direct 1st was during covid and furniture still very good almost as good as when I bought it, just made a 2nd purchase there was a delay with delivery which was a little frustrating but communication was pretty good. Wasted a day waiting in for delivery on day it was due to be delivered when I placed order would suggest when taking an order be more accurate with delivery time hasn't put me off ordering again as furniture is good quality reasonably priced
