We’ve worked with Raft Furniture as interior designers and have been consistently impressed throughout the process.

The customer service has been excellent, with clear and prompt communication at every stage. Any amendments required were handled efficiently, with updated drawings and costings quickly provided for us to share with our client for approval.

The quality of the sofas is outstanding, and our clients have been very happy with the end result. When visiting the store, clients are always well looked after, which makes a real difference to the overall experience.

It’s been a smooth and well-managed process from start to finish and a genuine pleasure to work with Abasin at the Cricklewood store.

I was very happy with my sofa order however they are terrible to follow up their online orders, it is end of May and I am still waiting to receive an order which I did online. I called multiple times and here are the excuses that I heard since November:

Delay in manufacturing due to many orders
Israel - Lebanon War (not kidding)
The Iran war and closure of Hormuz (not kidding)
lastly I called on Monday to ask where my order is and they said oh wow it has been almost a year since you made your order; don't worry the production team will be in touch with you tomorrow at the latest to let you know about the delivery date and guess what? no one called. NEVER EVER ORDER ONLINE FROM THEM.

If you are going to buy from here - and to be fair they have some nice stuff - make sure you use a credit card, get a very clear description of what you are buying, and clarify exactly which company you are buying from - it probably isn’t the same company as the showroom. The staff in the showroom are friendly and knowledgeable but Raft delivered sofas that were completely the wrong colour then claimed they couldn’t refund as they had gone into administration. It took almost a year, a credit card chargeback and the threat of a Section 75 claim to get things resolved.

If you’re reading this you’ve probably found something you want to buy. Don’t let me put you off - just be prepared for a fight if it goes wrong, and protect yourself via a credit card for the inevitable lack of action. Good luck!

I ordered a teak Katini chair from the Richmond store and had the pleasure of being looked after by Amin who not only advised me but was honest enough to explain the long 6-month delivery time ...I am so very glad I waited as the chair is perfect, made in Indonesia so long wait but well worth it.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great furniture. Most of our flat’s furniture is from Raft. We bought a piece of furniture in July 2025 and were going away for a while. Raft kept it for us until we were back 9 months later.

Am delighted with my Melrose sofa, it was delivered just before Christmas and is so comfortable, a sofa I can both sit on and sit in.

After searching numerous places trying to find the right sofa and just not being able to see something that would be right for us we visited Raft in St Albans.
Tony and the team could not have been more helpful, they listened to what we were after and provided a couple of mock drawings to see how they would look in our room.
Whilst not the cheapest we knew that they would be made well and last a long time, so we bought 2 sofas and a foot stool.
The overall service and the quality of the product stood out from all other places we had seen and we are delighted with our purchase.

Tony at Raft Furniture offered a really personalised experience and worked with me to come up with the best modular solution for a large sofa we wanted. He was very helpful with fabrics and was always available to answer any queries I had. I am really pleased with the finished result!

We visited the St Albans Raft Store with our two young children having spent the past two months' of weekends visiting every sofa shop under the sun! We just couldn't find anything that matched the size, colour, elegance, wear, sophistication, fabric choice and salesperson knowledge that we were after until we met Tony at Raft. The sofas are of a different class to everywhere else we visited, Tony was so so helpful and he made the process easy without being at all pushy. Although we did decide to come back without the kids to make a final decision on fabric! Don't even get me started on the kindness and entertainment they provided to the kids! We waited a short 8 weeks for our bespoke sofas, when most places were quoting 10-12! This is the first time my family has sat in a room together as we waited for several years for the right sofas and we are so pleased we waited! Thanks Raft! Pure class.

He took his time to explain everything clearly, offered thoughtful recommendations, and provided a wide range of fabric samples for me to take home and compare. His patience and professionalism made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. I’m very happy with both the service and the final purchase. Highly recommended.

Yet again As usual from first visit to final delivery our experience was excellent.

Our armchairs are really comfortable and delivery was well organised and chairs well protected during transport.
