Easy to purchase your policy with use them every time we go abroad not had to claim on the policy yet

Easy to purchase price was good no hidden catches and a good travel cover would highly recommend this insurance

1st Class Service

After taking out holiday insurance with previous medical conditions.
Prior to going on holiday I was admitted to hospital for seven days.
I felt I had to report this before going on vacation & expected a price increase.
Received an email back saying as I had already taken out the policy prior to being admitted to hospital, I did not need to declare for this trip & there was no extra charge

This company offered just the cover I needed for an extremely short trip. However, as an older client with previous health problems, which are resolved or well managed, I fell foul of the high cost of travel insurance.
The cost of this cover was one of the cheapest.

Very straight forward, simple and quick.

Easy process

Acceptable price for the level of cover offered which includes existing medical issues. Readily available access to find answers to any questions or concerns that I had.

Do not go with this company. I was with Puffin for years, because of the lifetime cover. I feel very betrayed. They increased our renewal premium by 5.6x. Yes, nearly a SIX TIMES INCREASE IN THE PREMIUM. That's the way they can pretend to offer a lifetime cover, and then choose to dump you after years of investing in a policy. It's not true lifetime cover if they dump you by putting up a price by a ridiculous amount. Which is disastrous as they get older, because getting lifetime cover gets harder to ongoing conditions. And, no, nothing was diagnosed that was an ongoing concern. Imagine what they would have done if it were cancer treatment. Probably have put up the renewal premium to 20 times the cost! I'm very sure that this is dubious in TCF terms versus FCA regulations. At best, just terrible behaviour.

Disappointing Experience with Dog and Puffin Pet
Insurance
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Dog and Puffin Pet Insurance. I took out
pet insurance expecting that, if my dog needed treatment, I would have the support and cover
I had paid for.
Unfortunately, my claim has been refused on the grounds that the condition was pre-existing. I
find this very frustrating and upsetting, particularly when you take out insurance to give your
pet the best possible care and peace of mind.
I do not believe it is fair to simply reject a claim by labelling a condition as pre-existing without
properly explaining the reasons and providing clear evidence to support that decision.
This experience has left me feeling let down and questioning the value of the insurance I have
been paying for. Pet owners should be able to trust that their insurer will assess claims fairly,
transparently and in accordance with the policy.
I hope Dog and Puffin will review its decision and provide a clear explanation of why my claim
has been refused. Based on my experience so far, I would urge other pet owners to read the
policy terms carefully and make sure they fully understand how pre-existing conditions are
assessed before taking out cover.

Easy to arrange. Fortunately, no claim necessary so no further comments :)
