Porsche Design Omdömen 

I ordered Christmas presents from Porsche Design in mid December as they posted on social media that they could still guarantee delivery before the 25th.

I contacted them on the 24th to ask where my delivery was and they said it was still in the warehouse and would come after Christmas.

They emailed today and said that as one of the items is out of stock they've cancelled the whole order and if I want any of the items I need to start the process again.

I've owned Porsche vehicles for the last few years and really didn't expect this from a prestige brand.

Ich kann nur davon abraten auf der Homepage etwas zu kaufen. Bestellungen sind nicht nachvollziehbar, da man keine Bestätigungsmails erhält, sowie Lieferung können auch nicht nachvollzogen werden, da weder eine Versandbestätigung kommt, noch irgendwelche Bestellnummern und Auftragsnummern. Nachdem man den Support anschreibt mit der Rechnungsnummer und das war die einzige Nummer die ich durch recherchieren über meine ausgewählte Bezahl-Option erhalten habe, bekommt man eine Antwort, "Bitte geben sie eine Auftragsnummer an, um die Bestellung nachvollziehen zu können". Wie soll man das machen, wenn man keine übermittelt bekommt, was ich auch klar formuliert hatte. Fazit, man wird einfach nur alleine gelassen, ohne wirklich eine Hilfe zu erhalten. Ich kann nur dringend davon abraten, etwas dort zu bestellen.

The official Porsche website/Porsche design are horrendous. I own a Porsche and they give Porsche a bad name. I ordered a birthday present for £400. Upon delivery I was told import tax of £72 was due so they couldn't hand over the package. 2 weeks later Porsche have accepted that they need to pay this (as per their website) but have still not paid it. They ignore my emails, the telephone staff do nothing besides saying they will forward my email and then hang up, and I get responses days later with nothing sorted. I end up sitting crying day after day because nothing is resolved. When I ask for their complaints details, which are not on their website (interesting in itself), they hang up. I couldn't be more upset or let down by a company and brand I trusted. I am now trying to get my money back via my credit card company whilst waiting yet again for another response from them. Never ever use this company. I wish I had seen the reviews on here before purchasing.

Trustpilot does work indeed! Two days after the review was published, Porsche Design wrote me an apology and sent me a new lighter. I think that I should honestly show the change and I’ve accordingly rated three stars. Render unto Caesar…

I asked a friend and flatmate of mine here in Manchester, Abubakar Sadiq Sani to buy two items from the Porsche Designe Website on the 28/10/2022, toady is the 24/11/2022 and I am yet to receive the goods. A carry on luggage and a backpack, both over £900.

First they did not disaptch within the 3 working days as specified, sent them an email a week after the purchase to enquire and that was when they supposedly dispatched the item and sent my friend a DHL tracking number on a Friday. Tracked for 5 days, goods were still idle at the DHL warehouse. On the 6th day, DHL returned the goods to Porsche. We contatcted them via phone but could not get any definite reason on why that had happened. After an entire week of back and forth, several emails and phone calls, they sent an email claiming DHL could not understand the address used for the delivery and requested we send the proper address which we did immediately.

They acknowledged receiving the address and promised to dispatch the goods immediately, that was on 15/11/2022. As I write this, no word from them. The customer care cannot even provide any solutions, anytime we call them, they ask us to send an email and that they too are trying to reach the logistics team.

Very poor service, a scam company, No resposibility whatsoever to their customers. A terrible brand!

Am 11.09.2022 per DHL Express nur sofort lieferbare Artikel bestellt. Heute am 20.09. ist noch immer kein Versand erfolgt. Auf meine E-Mail von gestern Morgen bisher keine Reaktion. Ich habe heute dreimal angerufen, nach der Ansage (Sprache, Datenschutz) wird jedes Mal das Gespräch beendet.

Das 2.Designfeuerzeug für über 170€ geht genau 2 Tage nach Garantie Ablauf kaputt. Anruf bei Porsche Hotline, dürfen wir Gespräch aufzeichnen, danach wird aufgelegt automatisch. Absolut nicht German Like.

Es geht, habe aber mehr erwartung gehabt.

I've been a Porsche Design client for many years...
Recently I contacted the PD client service over the phone and the service was just awful! Unworthy of bearing the Porsche name... Ferdinand Alexander Porsche would be ashamed of what the service has become!
Basically bought a lighter, no one can service it... PD doesn't now where to send me!
Bought a belt, leather cracked within a few months... PD says it isn't normal but can't do anything about it!
The handle on my umbrella has come loose... Nothing they can do about it...
And the thing that really got on my nerves, a pair of driving sunglasses that I left one autumn afternoon in the car and the varnish on the lens just crackeled! I didn't even have the chance to wear them a full day!
I have had Porsche Design on the phone several times concerning my problems since september 2021... nothing has been done and haven't had any feedback from them.
Called them this morning, talked to some ''manager'' who politely asked me to hang up the phone because they had work to do! Well that's German customer service for you!
So think twice before buying an item off them...
Bad quality, bad customer service.

If you want sunglasses, Maui Jim are the best. The customer service is perfect!

If you want a lighter, nothing better than ST Dupont, again great customer service.

If you want a pen, Mont Blanc and Caran d'Ache are marvellous with a preference for CA's customer service.

If you want a belt, Ermenegildo Zegna...

And so one...
I always wondered why Porsche garages never sold Porsche Design items. Well now I know why!
PD are useless, and they have just lost a client.

I have 2 pairs of Porsche design reading glasses , when jet washing my car the nose bridge fell off of the pair which hang from my neck , can I get a replacement nose bridge from them ? No, premium brand with a couldn’t care less regard to customers . We’re talking about a £2 plastic nose bridge here Porsche. I also have their coffee machine and kettle which I will not buy again due to your lack of understanding customer loyalty.

Ich trage wirklich viel und gern die Kleidung & Accessoires von Porsche Design, doch ich messe einen Hersteller immer auch daran, wie er im seltenen Fall einer Reklamation reagiert - und da muss ich sagen: Hervorragend.

Das eine Mal war eine Sonnenbrille defekt (gekauft im Store in Metzingen) - diese konnte ich einfach an den Store senden und bekam postalisch Ersatz - super.

Gegenwärtig erwarb ich eine Winterjacke und diese wies nach kurzer Zeit der Benutzung bereits deutliche Mängel auf - Ärgerlich, da ich das Design geliebt habe. Aber: Auch hier eine anstandslose Reaktion seitens Porsches und eine einwandfreie Erstattung.

Das bestätigt mich, auch zukünftig bei Porsche Design einzukaufen, denn hier möchte man nicht nur etwas verkaufen, man steht auch gleichzeitig hinter seinen Produkten im Falle eines Mangels. Top.

Ordered 2 jackets, arrived late, I returned them the next day and took over 2.5weeks to reach them. Then taking even longer to refund me! Thieves! They are making excuses because of Brexit and time of the year, which isn’t good enough. I phone them, which cost me each time because they do not have U.K. phone numbers and they even laughed at me when i asked where my money was.
And still do not have my £400 back!

Update 1.5months on...still no refund. no replies, cannot even get to talk to the right person, calls cost a fortune to Germany, PayPal involved but not making it much easier. I wish I saw these reviews first, so stressful dealing with this.

Over a month later I have my refund of £418, but it took so long to get, emails to paypal, emails to Porsche design, it was so tough and took so much of my time up.
I beg you not to use such a poorly run organisation, even Paypal were awful to deal with.

I should have read here before ordering. Ordered a gift on 23rd Nov. and only today I received an email with some news that it is being delayed (No way! Sherlock) and will take even some more days (The celebration event is already history)...

Speechless for a brand with a size like Porsche that they cannot find a team of maximum 5 people capable to run a simple webshop like this. Absolutely not rocketscience to get this organised properly. Cyber Week is a very bad excuse to use for this, as this is a known fact every year. Get your s*h*i*t together or don't sell online.

Terrible - Advent woes. I ordered a £65 advent calendar. It's a gift to my Porsche owning brother. I ordered it on 19th Nov and was informed 5 business days. I received an email notification from UPS that they had just received the item on the 29th Nov and wouldn't be with me until the 3rd Dec! It took you 10 days to wrap an advent calendar! Awful service!

Warte schon seit 4 Wochen auf meine Lieferung. Eine Teillieferung ist nur möglich wenn ich 2 mal Versand Bezahle. Die Kreditkarte wurde gleich Belastet und abgebucht.

This has got to be one of the worst online shopping experience ever!

I ordered a Porsche Design Lighter, but ended up with an entirely different item! The sheer amount of negligence and incompitence in processing such a simple order is mind-boggling!

I contacted customer service ahead of summer vacations, on the same day that the order was received, to request prompt advise on return and refund procedures, but their response came very late, and now I am stuck with an item that I cannot return until the end of summer holidays!

Seeing the negative reviews on the logistics of returns below, I am now worried about even sending the wrong item back! I wish I had checked the store reviews before placing the order 😔

I ordered a pair of trousers in the sale which I returned to Porsche Design as those were too large.

Porsche Design works with UPS who is currently unable to handle the post Brexit customs process.

57 days after I sent back the trousers, the parcel is still stuck with UPS and Porsche Design is not accepting responsibility for the contractor denying me the refund.

Be careful when ordering online from Porsche Design as their logistics are rather weak and their e-commerce staff is not supportive when raising such issues.

My suitcase finally arrived after being stuck in Customs for weeks... it’s perfect but ordering from Germany to UK is Super difficult and stressful after Brexit. Be aware of that!

Am embarrassment for Porsche how they let this third party cause so much brand damage.

Ordered on the 11th Feb package still stuck in Germany and customer service ignore all email and request to cancel. They blame Brexit with snide comments!!

Have to involve Amex who are brilliant as ever and refunded payment.
