Upgrading of broadband
The initial upgrading went well and communication was good, However my parents were told the porting would take 48 hours - it took 3 weeks - the are 92 and were unable to receive calls in for this time - missing important hospital calls. After contacting for a 3rd time I finally got help - Josie was helpful and efficient and solved the problem. I would give Josie 5* , the previous communication was unfortunately not good hence 3* only

Had issue setting up the router. Was on call- put through quickly to josie from the technical team. She was quick and extreme helpful - stayed on call while I set up everything and did not rush me. Excellent work from Josie and team!

Joined today, services go live on the 21st yet they charged me from the 15th to the 30th. Phoned up to find out why and when im expected to pay this bill. Advisor was useless. Couldnt give me an answer, lied about me swearing and then hung up on me. Still no answers! Disgusting company to deal with. Been a customer for a day and im already thinking about going elsewhere as there horrible

Terrible performance, over charging during the contract period for services unnecessary and without transparency. At the conclusion of the contract, charge 79.99 for router, even though this wasn't made clear and again with no communication from them. Returned router at my cost, refunded, then charged again.

Incompetent company that charges without transparency. Avoid and recommend not to use.

Andrew spent a considerable amount of time helping me set up my devices was extremely patient as I was very stressed not being able to access anything for four days He was sympathic to an older lady with very little technical knowledge and I will now be able to sleep tonight

Mark resolved my issue quickly and efficiently. I only needed to call technical support once and the connection issue was resolved in minutes. There was no queue or waiting a long time to speak to an agent. Installation was also smooth.

Do not use this company. Horrendous customer service from the outset.
Never received a written copy of my contract even though I rang and asked for this multiple times.
Due to the lack of communication I chose to end my contract with them and move to sky in March this year, I paid the exit fee as indicated by the employee of £49.
I have not heard anything from pop telecom since, until today when I have received a letter from the ‘debt collectors’ specifying that I owe £169.99, if I do not pay bailiffs will be sent to my address and that pop telecom have attempted to contact me on several occasions for this payment. They have never contacted me once. I have issued a formal complaint and after reading all of these similar reviews will be taking this company to the ombudsman if they do not withdraw this collection from my name.
DO NOT USE!

My internet connection was not stable at all. It was cutting out every couple of minutes and I was not able to access the router website to even look into it. I tried resetting it and everything but nothing worked. That is when Mark answered my phone call. Not only I did not wait for the phone to be picked up, it only took this legend 2/3 minutes to sort the problem and give me a stable internet with access to everything I needed. Give him a raise please!

I don't believe these 5 star reviews aren't botted. I was with POP Telecom from 2024 to 2026 and they were the worst provider I have ever been plagued with. I was charged twice from the beginning, which took several fights with customer service to fix because they kept blaming my bank. I was overcharged throughout my contract and had connection issues frequently, and struggled to get my promised speeds. Then since my contract ended I have been fighting with them about the router, which was advertised as free but they want back, but they won't send any kind of return code for. I've been fighting them since March to try and return their "free" router, and they've sent it to debt collections company instead. Absymal treatment from start to finish. They still owe me money, refused to give me information about the complaints procedure, the staff are combative the second you've signed a contract, they will try to milk you for every penny they can while providing you a subpar service at best. Avoid at all costs.

This is the most appalling company I have ever had to deal with. My mother died, she had money remaining until the end of the month on her contract but Pop telecom closed the account while family were down needing the internet to sort my mother's affairs. Then they said I was a named person on the account and I would have to pay to terminate the account. After many emails, I pointed out that I was only on the account as a person to manage my mother's account as she was too ill to do so herself they finally agreed and the account was closed. We have just now received a dept collectors notice that we owe money which we don't. I didn't receive any emails asking for payments.The dept collector doesn't recognise the number of the account and won't talk to us to resolve the matter. Pop telecom won't tell me why we owe the money, even though they were the ones to have passed the dept over to a dept collector. Also a person from Pop telecom was going to call me back to try and resolve the matter but didn't - this is typical of Pop telecom. Avoid at all costs!!! Especially if a loved one is ill, there is zero compassion.

Sent back the router have proof
it was delivered now a year later have a letter saying they have taken me to debt collection for over £200 scammers avoid I will be taking this further

Awful customer service when you get through to them. Poor broadband connection. Then they wait until months after you’ve left to demand return of router and send debt collection letter with no previous correspondence.
