The problem with my print was totally obvious and unmissable and instead of reprinting and getting it right, they just sent out items with obvious, outrageous errors. I can't stress enough that they must have knowingly, wilfully sent out defective crap, not caring in the slightest that I paid for express delivery. It says in the guarantees section "Your photo product undergoes rigorous process of quality control before being shipped" - that is absolute BS. If it was checked by even the most inexperienced idiot in the world, it would have been obvious that it was not fit for purpose and only fit for a bin. Go to Vistaprint or anywhere but these jesters because they will gleefully send you items that they know are totally wrong and worthless and will inevitably need refunding. Absolutely disgusting, I hope this company goes under.

The book arrived after a long time - the postage was overpriced and the communication poor. I have been ordering these “free books” for sometime now, size 8”x6” - not easy to prepare but satisfactory. This time the book has reduced in size from 8”x6” to 6”x6”- so small, they have put huge borders round the pictures which make the pictures even smaller! They don’t tell you this until the payment page - by which time I was so relieved to have finally finished preparing the book I didn’t even notice. I will never use them again and my advise to you is ‘don’t either’!!!’

I ordered a Photobook and a couple of hours after realised I wanted to change the title of the book. I know it was my mistake but l sent email after email with no response. These books are quite expensive, especially the delivery cost which is added in after the order has been confirmed. Customer service is shocking and I’ll go elsewhere in future. One solution answer your emails.

I ordered a 2023 A3 photo poster calendar. It is difficult to get this, so I was glad to find a company who were still printing these. It was simple to upload the photos and the price seemed reasonable, £3.60 for the photo calendar, well that was until I got to the shipping section. I was charged £11.95 for shipping. I was shocked as this is a UK based company, surely shipping shouldn't cost that much. The calendar arrived quickly, but the quality wasn't as good as the ones that I used to order from Planet Photo, but unfortunately they have gone out of business.

I've used them a lot - the photobook editor can be clunky but I'm used to it, and the quality has always been pretty good. I'm also used to the very high delivery charges, but with the initial discounts that's usually evened out so they come in at about the same price as other companies. But for Christmas I ended up needing eight items and hadn't factored in that they charge the same high delivery on each item, even though they are all coming in the same package and every other company would be offering discounts on multiple items. Obviously the high delivery charges are just there to make money and I got stung this time, paying way over what I would have got elsewhere. Won't use them again, they're no better or worse than other companies but the charges have left a bad taste this time (and, for the first time, the quality had actually dipped, there's a few pages with slight colour distortion).

Shocking service. Still not received my book despite several email asking for an update. They take your money quick however they don’t deliver. Thieves

Shocking my book was meant to be with me on 6/12 even with postal strikes it should have made it. I have sent emails no response total lack of customer service but very happy to take your money

They hide the delivery cost, you would never think it is £12 to deliver a calendar.
I haven't even received it yet, but because I bought a 'voucher' to get Cyber Monday discount they got me locked in.
It's not enough to say it's in the T&C's as this isn't reflective of how much it is to send something through the post as per Royal Mail guidelines.
Therefore, this extortionate price - which I would love to see how this number is broken down - makes this completely not worth while.
Basically I've just been conned. Stay away,

Design Time: Way too long! Software difficult to use and kept reverting to useless templates and adding pages without permission!
Ordering: Slow and clunky. Website not intuitive.
Software: Rubbish! Suggest that you scrap it and start again. If I set a number of photos and total pages, it should create a book based on this AND preserve the order specified. It does nothing useful and I needed to build by hand!
Suggestion: Still missing 1 of 4 books. Delayed repeatedly without feedback. Missed event deadline by two weeks so far AND still incomplete! Will NEVER use company again and recommend to all not to waste any time with them. Utterly incompetent!
UPDATE: Eventually 3 out of 4 books arrived: When chased, it took another week to create the missing book and resend. List of excuses simply not credible, and company appears to be disinterested in publishing the feedback themselves, thus I am publishing here

I ordered 4 photo books as sadly my husband died and we have a wake Saturday 26th, on my account it says they have been delivered but I haven’t received them, I’m so upset as I need them for the wake have emailed twice no reply

AVOID AVOID… you get a “come on” with attractive offer on email etc - in my case 3 identical calendars for which you have to buy a voucher ( delivery extra). BUT you then create item enter voucher code and get hit with ludicrously high delivery cost which in my case was almost 150% the value of voucher AND then hit with “ premium “ paper surcharge which seems default setting in creation. My basic calendars ended up costing over £40 for 3. AVOID

This is a Company to avoid. Their offers appear cheap at first sight, but when you find the postage cost it is a different story. The Company PhotobooksUK is actually based in Malaysia - hence the high shipping costs. Their systems are difficult to use and their App cannot be used for some orders. The system of photobook construction is claimed to use Artificial Intelligence rather than common sense - or so it would seem. My photobooks were badly set out, some photos cropped and some of the colours very poor. Complaint response is prompt - but leads nowhere other than more cost!

If I could I wouldn't even give this company a 1star rating. I created a Photobook for my friend whose husband passed away, the first book sent was damaged and water marks on most photos, they sent a replacement and again the book was damaged and water marked. I had to send photos of the book and photos side by side. They turned around and said they would refund me. I waited weeks so decided to to though PayPal, they agreed through PayPal to refund me the case then closed. They send me an email and said they would not refund me. I then rang PayPal and because the purchase was personalised and not under buyer protection they wouldn’t give me the refund.

Terrible website, spent hours creating a lovely photo-book for them to charge £19 for delivery!!!

What a scam and waste of everyones time..

Ordered on the 17th Aug 2022, paid for the express shipping option and here we are 13 days later and still not shipped, feels like the company is profiting by offering a service and not delivering, shame as they have been great in the past.

Taking the p#ss!!! I wanted 1 photo to print in a 4x6, came across this website after spending ages browsing as most places print 6x4. Created an account and went to check out, for a 12p photo this company is wanting to charge £8.95!!! Have a laugh!! You will not get business by offering ridiculous shipping prices. Please have a word with whoever deals with the financial side and make sure he/she aren’t of the MP that are charging extortionate prices!! I’d rather pay the petrol prices and find a shop to print at this rate.

They have been brilliant up to now but I now have a problem and am unable to contact them. I have tried email (correct address) given on this site to a previous customer, their own app says Id is invalid, don't know what to do now to get an answer. My app is telling me my order is in progress and email telling me has been despatched. Urgent now, as a present.
