Oak stair case, barn conversion
The stairs have proved to be better than I expected, both in appearance and ease of fitting. As they can be seen from the whole of downstairs they had to be a feature and they are.
The delivery arrived on time and the driver was helpful. The joiner that fitted them for me was also impressed.

Good from start to finish
Simple order process, good price, although delivery charge was nearly as much as the actual pine beading I bought, but STILL cheaper overall than going to a “D.I.Y” store ..
Delivered on time..
Will use again..

Excellent quality and quick delivery
I have twice purchased strips of wood to create a panelled look in my home. Both times I have received excellent quality of wood and the packaging and delivery was faultless. Will definitely recommend to all.

Not the easiest company to deal with.
Not the easiest company to deal with.
Communication could be improved. Incomplete items received and deliveries do not turn up on the pre-agreed days.
It’s a shame as the end product looks lovely, but it involved 5 delivery slots when it could have been done in 2

Hi Vanita,
Apologies for the experience you had with us; this is not the level of service we aim to deliver to our customers.
We were advised by our glass delivery company that your glass would arrive on Wednesday PM. Unfortunately, this delivery failed, and it was rescheduled for the next morning by our glass company. We are also aware that some items were short-delivered and more had to be sent out, resulting in another delivery timeslot.
We will take your comments on board and will improve our service.
We are glad that the end product looks lovely.
Apologies again for the inconvenience caused.
Many Thanks,

I've been using Pear stairs for years
I've been using Pear stairs for the last 5 years, never had a problem before. But now 2 times they disappoint me and I decided to leave a review, by the way I've left 5 * review in Google couple of years ago which I will try to remove. 1st problem on their main page on top is stated 7 working days for hardwood staircases to be produced, nowhere near that I've ordered ash staircase for 3300£ after the design was agreed and was given go ahead for production I've received the invoice which with small letters on the end it says 3-4 weeks. Anyway I had to let down my customers and delay the job with a month. Ok it's my fault I didn't read properly, but that's called false advertisement . When I called to ask a young guy started jumping over the phone and telling me they are within the timescale given on my invoice, what about the time that you advertise with big letters in top of your main page ? What made me leave the review is my last order, 700£ worth of materials. On the confirmation email it was stated 7 -10 working days for mixed orders. I received everything on the 15th and on top of it all the spacers that was delivered to go in the groove are smaller than the groove so I can't even finish the job now . In general my customers suffered and I might not get any more work from them . I'll be looking for different supplier .

Hi Stepan,
Apologies for the experience you had with us, this is not the level of service we aim to deliver to our customers.
We offer our customers the option to collect softwood staircases in 5 working days and Hardwood Staircases in 7 working days. This offer is used to help customers who have left it late to order a staircase and are willing to come and collect it when the staircase is ready.
Our delivery times haven’t changed for several years, 7 to 10 working days for Softwood Standard staircases and 3 to 4 weeks for Hardwood/Joinery staircases, such as open riser or cut string staircases that are more intricate and will take longer to cut and build. An Ash staircase would come into the Joinery category with a 3-to-4-week lead time. We do not feel that this is false advertising.
We apologise that your latest stair parts order was delivered two days after the lead time stated. We will look into the reason behind this and see where we can improve. We will also look into why the wrong-sized spacers were sent out, as this should not have happened. If you would like the correct size sent out, please let us know. We can normally send out replacement parts on a next-day delivery.
Please feel free to contact Pear Stairs manager, Mr Lee Jones, on 01938 557731 to discuss further.
Apologies again for the inconvenience caused by this.
Many Thanks, Pear Stairs

4 stair cases to replace.
I had four different staircases at one property replacing all the stairs in the house, none were alike but the with the designers were manufactured and fitted with no issues.
Great service as always.
