I ordered a cooker for my mum and it arrived damaged...so I tried to sort it out and the nice lady even called my mum back..when we asked for a replacement the person who deals with it was rather rude.. 6hrs later and a very nice man has now arranged a replacement two days later..now how hard was that..fingers crossed this one doesn't arrive damaged

RUBBISH RUBBISH RUBBISH OMG i left a great review for buying my fridge freezer and paid for the door swap, when it arrived the doors hadn't been changed, I mentioned it to delivery guys and they said we don't do door changes go through to store, store is a 25 mile trip for me so off i went, didn't get much help they told me to go home and i would get a call from the engineer and he will come out tomorrow Sat, he turned up changed doors but not the kit to fix it right, so door drops every time i open it and the seal isn't right so fridge system is always on continually on buzzing away

I am so angry as i paid £35 for door change
clocked up 75 miles going back and forth as nobody can answer my questions on line

DO NIOT USE CURRYS THEY DO NOT CARE AFTER THEY HAVE GOT YOUR CASH, THIS FREEZER WAS NEALLY £700 AND THIS IS HOW I AM TREATED

the girl in shop when i went into store again at 2pm sun afternoon, was leaning on her arm doing nothing, i had called all morning the branch number nobody picked up
i went over and explained, she begrudged picking up the eye pad, asked my name, then said oh yeh, we were meant to call you today !!!!!!!!!!! the email came last night !! another trip to banbury when all they had to do was pick up email from Cherry at distribution centre, i am livid as i now have to go through again that will be a round trip of 100 miles !!!!!!! can you believe this DONT ORDER THEY DONT CARE nobody wants to take this on

Yesterday after a FOURTH visit to Curry's they have now processed an exchange but of course we have to wait for the item to come into stock which won't be until Friday & then I have to wait for it to be delivered which will only be when they are next in my area so who knows how long this will take?!
Who'd have thought buying a fridge freezer could be so complicated!

Absolutely appalling.
I placed an order 4 weeks ago and despite their website saying they had over 10 in stock I received an email from them saying all their stock was pre-allocated. I suspect this was a lie. After patiently waiting 4 weeks for new stock to arrive they’ve now simply cancelled my order.

I attempted to buy a cpu and cooler worth around £800.

PC world failed to send me email confirmation. So i got it somewhere else instead, contacted PCworld through their online service to let them know what happened, they assured me that no money would be taken from my account.

PC world then charged me. Over the next 14 days i contacted them most days. I was promised a refund, I never recieved one.

After 14 days i was eligible to get a refund from my bank, and recieved my money back.

PC world then claimed the money back through my bank, sending proof that the order has been cancelled and claiming it as proof of delivery.

I contact pc world, tell them to stop bothering my bank for a their money, and they assure me that they will stop doing this.

I ask them, under no circumstances to send a refund.

PCworld send the refund anyway.

I contact my bank to let them know, the bank refunds their payment.

Contacting their telephone helpline was extreemly frustrating. It seems to me as though the people on their helpline cannot understand english, but have a list of phrases they can say, which often dont relate to any question i have asked.

Becca, what you say doesnt make any sense. There is no support you can offer me, i have already dealt with my bank and got the money back.

I invite everyone to look at PC worlds response, and how poorly written it is, and this is from someone they specifically employ to deal with complaints, who has the job of copy pasting the same response over and over.

Imagine dealing with the lower level of english speakers they employ, and them having 800 quid of your cash and being unable to understand a word you say - Thats the pcworld experience.

Bought a product, said it was in stock. Then got an email a few days later saying the price had gone up by £150.

Following this, I get an email saying the product is out of stock, despite the fact their website showing 9 in stock, with a much higher price.

Customer service is slow, they don't get back to you with an acceptable answer and don't really care. Take your business elsewhere and get what you actually pay for.

Terrible experience, will never buy anything off them again and not recommend it to anyone.
Sent me the wrong product, I sent it back with RMA and never got refunded. They are thieves.

I tried to speak to an expert who could answer my queries before ordering a desktop computer and 2 monitors. I spoke to 2 people but neither could offer any help telling me to go into store. The whole point of wanting to order online was to avoid having to go in store! Surely on a business site there should be technical expertise to help customers prior to purchase? Customer Service lacking and putting me off buying from them again. If this is before purchase I doubt will be any improvement after.
NB Received standard reply telling me to ring exactly the same telephone number that I had already rung where 2 people were both unable to help. The last straw was after asking for information about a Dell Desktop PC the reply was so you are enquiring about a Hotpoint Washing Machine!...Clearly more training and expertise required. I would imagine the CEO would be disappointed? Frustrated potential buyer.

Won the raffle to buy a PS5, went well until their courier lost it and it was never delivered. This has been going on since Mid May. Called to complain and given a email address that doesn't exist.
Only just had my money returned to a business account! I have spent 2 months having to constantly chase for updates (40 emails back and fourth) and they think its ok to just refund the money after 2 months. Terrible the business don't care about the customer at all. I feel sorry for the people that work there having to take the brunt of everyone's frustrations.

Was selected in the ps5 prize draw, was all pretty straight forward, kept me up to date and I'm now happy with my ps5

Absolutely pathetic service
Been trying to get hold of business team for over a year and still no answer. They never ever answer the business phone number. Have a business account need to close and the thieves need to refund me but they keep avoiding. See you in small claims court when you will have to pay court costs as well. Don’t want your fake concerning response on this review as not interested.

Bought an £800 HP laptop 7/4/21 and paid extra for 3 year HP warranty. The additional warranty was not registered with HP.
Chased 22/5 and was assured it would be put right. It was not.
Chased again 6/6, was sent copy of email to supplier requesting extra warranty to be registered. It was not.
Chased again 14/6, informing if it was not resolved by 21/6 (today) I would take it to trading standards.
And so a dreary round of fisticuffs begins. Awful Company. Will never use again.

Fine so long as all you want to do is buy and never engage again. I tried to use their price match, and despite sending multiple emails with screen shots and calling their customer services, I've never heard anything back from emails, on facebook they told me to email (no response again) and on the phone line no surprise they said email (again nothing). Email each time was pcwb_customerservices. Lost any trust in the company (not to mention £50 out of pocket)

As requested I had provided all the details necessary but to date received nothing other than saying they will do an investigation and raise credit notes but nada. That is for 2 orders. One order 10 weeks and counting. No goods no money back. The other 4 weeks and counting. No goods nor money back. Appalling service.

I have been dealing with Currys PC world business for a long time. I find the company is getting progressively worse. I just got off the phone with customer service regarding some products that I ordered but never received. The agent wasn't rude as such but extremely robotic and lack any empathy towards a customer who has been calling for the same issue over and over again.

It is really frustrating as she would not even listen or reason with anything I have to say other than fob me off saying they are waiting for updates from DPD on the item which was not delivered. I am waiting for 2 weeks now and they won't refund the money or send me the product.

Repeated delays and cancellations of our orders. Don't buy anything that your business may require to arrive by a certain date or that may be critical for your work.

I took in my computer to get the cracked screen repaired in Trowbridge Currys PC World store. I told them that my son had puked on it a few days before the screen cracked and I had cleaned it thoroughly. The chap in store took it in and bubble wrapped it and sent it off. Twenty one days later the laptop was returned and they said because it was a bio-harzard they couldn't repair it. So I took it home and decided to repair the screen myself and discovered that the ssd had been removed and three screws for the battery were missing. I took it back and showed the shop assistant and the manager who was in store, Rhianne insinuated that I had removed the ssd. I refused to take the laptop and left it and insisted that I wanted my laptop back as it was when I sent it. I pay a cover plan every month.
Now they have written back saying the investigation concluded that the computer was never opened and that's the end of the matter. I am really upset about this since I did not remove the ssd. I need my computer as it was when I sent it off.

Staff at Staines store is refusing to deal with a warranty issue for a Business purchase.They have confirmed that the item is under warranty, however, they will not take the item. Their excuse is that they do not have the item on stock and they are refusing to order one.
Appoling customer service, unprofessional approach, rude staff, not a care in the world !!!
One star rating is too much !!!
I hope that somebody at the head office will see the review and they will deal with the matter.

Today i went to the Yeovil store for help and guidance about purchasing a laptop and a laser printer, and Scott was patient, knowledgeable and very patient providing me with all the help i needed. I am checking all my options now, and can then return in the next 48 hours to purchase the right bundle.Thank you Scott.

Like most big companies the service is adequate as long as you stay within the boundaries of their terms but if you are looking for some special service to be done I find that the staff are rigidly tied in to "laid down" procedure. i.e. If it isn't in their filing cabinet they don't do it.

Shocking service. Ordered next day delivery on an item I needed urgently and it arrived one month later. I phoned to chase it after the first week and was promised immediate dispatch, which was not honoured. I had no further communication from the company, and since my card had not been charged I assumed the order would never arrive. To make things even more annoying, having sourced the item elsewhere, for less money, Curry's pc world finally delivered that day. I will never use this company again. What a disgrace.

I had a really good experience with these guys. Firstly it was the PS5 draw which is just a great idea. They sent me an email to say I’d be contacted in 7 days and I got a phone call 7 days later from a guy called Gilbert.

I explained I couldn’t make the payment that day and he gave me a number to call and told me I’d be fine to call back as long as they still had stock. I called back a couple of days later and spoke to this really nice lady, I think iowna or similar. Anyway she was busy when I called but said she’d call me back and came back to me a short while later. Whole thing was processed quickly and arrived 2 days later via DPD.

Thought they were great honestly, nice people and everything was very smooth.
