I could not attend an event in person, however I did order an autograph online - intended as a birthday gift for my partner.
I stated several times the spelling of her name and the type of signature I wanted (celebrity, not character signature), going as far as to double confirm these things in a direct email to them. The details I inputted for my order were all 100% correct and I have multiple screenshots of this. However, when the autograph arrived her name was spelled incorrectly, and the photo had a character signature on it (smudged, as well). There was also significant damage to the photo, with one corner having large wet/greasy stain on it ? The plastic case it came in was also broken in this area. I cant be sure if it was damaged in transit or was just packaged that way, but still.

I understand that there could be variations in what you could receive, and I was totally fine with this possibility, although I do think the very bare minimum should be spelling the receiver's name right especially after it has been clarified multiple times, and they are spending upwards of £70. It's not even a difficult name it's 5 letters long. What's the point in filling out an order form if you aren't even going to read it properly? And why was it greasy ??????????

My partner is a lifelong fan of this person, and is extremely upset & disappointed by this. Due to her disability she cannot attend in person to get an autograph.

Another thing of note, when contacting Monopoly Events about this they sent me only short & rude responses, only a few words each time. Then again, I don't know what I expected; if they cant be bothered to spend 3 seconds reading the one single name a customer paid for, then how can I expect them to spend more time than that reading the 2 whole sentences of my email. My mistake I guess.

I have been offered a refund if I return the damaged autograph - which I will. Though, if I am forced to pay them postage I'm gonna be super mad ! : )

I have attended Monopoly events as a trader previously, and I have nothing but good things to say. I was at comic con Wales this year at the ICC, and the events team were attentive, helpful and well organised. I look forward to trading at the other events organised later this year after a very positive first experience,

I have attended the Liverpool comicon for the last 2 years and always had the best time looking forward to the next one in October .

This company is only interested in money. The extra added fees are ridiculous , being charged to print your own tickets..daylight robbery. Wanting a refund after upgrading tickets to be told no..even tho ive spent more money with them. The ques are horrendous and dis organised. They shouldn't let ques get too long that they end up merging into others. Pre paid and diamond to go first for popular guests. They oversee and it makes it not a enjoyable experience when its too busy and you spend your whole day queuing. Especially when you've bought autographs and the ques have been that bad you never got to meet the guest. They won't refund you and they'll argue there was no issues on the day, yet there is always issues which they never seem to learn from and staff dont know what there doing half the time and some can be very rude. What could be a enjoyable day is always ruined by something

Really poor organisation at the events, staff don't seem to know what's going on or where things are. The prices are already crazy, and its not made clear (its on the website but hidden), that paying for your photo does not include the digital copy. That, they charge you extra for! Rip off

Went to the Sci-Fi and fantasy event at excel London on 22nd August 2026.
Paid for signature of item with an arrival time to get the celebrity to sign it. Chaotic system- 2.5 hours later after the time we should’ve had and standing in a queue finally got to the front. Then had to join another queue that no staff seemed to know where it was for the certificate of authentication. One person doing it!
Stands were pretty basic and poor. Not worth paying for the event. A soulless experience with badly trained and unhelpful staff. Cannot believe this is meant to be a professional events and hospitality company!

This was my first time ordering a signed personalized print from an actor that was attending one of Monopoly Events conventions and it went perfectly. The autograph arrived in pristine condition and was securely packed. I will be happily ordering again from them in the future.

Couldn’t attend the convention so was able to order an autograph from my favourite actress. They uploaded photos of the actress signing all photos and then sent them out really safely packaged and I’m so pleased with it! Thank you!

I absolutely love the experience that Monopoly Events creates. What I love most is seeing how many people get to live out their dreams at these events. Whether you come for a particular actor, a photo, an autograph, a panel, cosplay, props, gaming, or simply the atmosphere, there is something for everyone.

Of course, not every event will be perfect, and not every event will meet every fan’s expectations. But behind every event there is a team of real people who are doing their best to make everything work, often under huge pressure and with thousands of people attending. The events keep getting bigger, attendance keeps growing, and naturally that comes with challenges. At the same time, the team continues to improve the service and overall experience and, importantly, keeps listening to fan feedback.

I also think it is important to understand what to expect when attending a large Comic Con. Yes, you may have to queue for an autograph or a photo. Yes, sometimes the queues can be long. But that is simply part of attending a large event with thousands of other fans who want exactly the same experience. It is better to prepare yourself for that than to spend the whole day being frustrated because you had to wait.

And then there is the other side of it: sometimes someone complains that the photo or interaction was too quick. But remember that there are many people waiting behind you who have also travelled to meet that guest. Of course the team has to keep things moving. It is not personal — it is simply how large-scale events work.

The same applies to panel discussions. Guests usually have a limited number of panels during the weekend, often just one, so it is worth keeping that in mind when planning your day and your expectations.

For me, the most important thing is the overall experience and the fact that Monopoly Events gives so many people the opportunity to meet the stars they grew up watching, share their passions and create memories they will remember for years.

Could everything always be better? Of course. There is always room for improvement. But I also think it is fair to recognise the enormous amount of work that goes into these events and the fact that the team is constantly trying to make them bigger, better and more enjoyable for fans.

Not every event will be perfect — but that doesn't mean it isn't worth being part of. ❤️

What a great weekend our family had on Manchester meeting the casts of Bones Angel and S o A Finn Jones Giant and so many more. Dreams came true this weekend. Monopoly staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you Monopoly for everything and look forward to the next

This is mine and the wife's 8th con we've been to multiple events in Aberdeen, Newport, Liverpool & now Manchester.

This may be the last straw.

The Manchester venue was absolutely abysmal no drop kerbs for access couldn't get into the carpark, wife's wheelchair struggled across the road into the venue which could only have been described as close to the lunar surface, massively overcrowded, the mens toilets where swimming with pee & The benches outside where on the verge of collapsing and where absolutely rammed, Left after a few hours doubt I'll be using my Sunday ticket.

Last time in Liverpool we purchased our ticket for them to refuse a carers ticket dispite my wife having the required nimbus card. Despite being my wife's carer after back and forth it was agreed I could attend... From 4pm onwards. Meaning my wife only had 1 hour in the con, meaning I had to purchase a full resale ticket. The conventions have been declining year on year with obvious bias towards profit rather than guests and fans.

Banned the use of Meta AI for disabled people. Disgusting behaviour.

Awful company. My daughter is severely disabled and a wheelchair user, we was told only one week before the event to purchase a nimbus card for access and a carer pass. It took so long for this card to arrive that we missed out on a carer ticket. They refused to let him in without both the card/ticket even though his ticket would have been free anyway. The nimbus process was hard enough and then we had to deal with monopoly who were no help at all. I don’t understand why they can’t just make it a simple application instead of directing you to other companies knowing how time consuming it is.

I find this company very awful to deal with. Their responses are rude. The policies are harsh. No customer service. No help. Just in general money grabbers.

I ordered Nell fisher autograph and I came within 3 days and it was at a cheap price . Very happy with my order thank you . I ordered from action force toys

I attended my first Monopoly event convention in Prague, and it was the best con i’ve ever been to! All the staff (British and Czech) was so nice and helpful, and the con was beautifully organized. Zero stress and amazing vibes! I’ll definitly go again!
