The pinnacle of self actualization
The pinnacle of self actualization. My brain properly can’t understand how anyone could say anything other than MIND BLOWING experience/
These people really care about their students, they’ve taken their time with each and everyone of us and even are accommodating with specific dietary restrictions and the food is so amazing as-well! The team and the coaches are so lovely and I wouldn’t trade my first experience here for the world.
Meeting likeminded people and plotting to properly leverage our mutual connections with each and everyone of each other has been invaluable and a completely appropriate way to approach this magnitude of life changing moments!
I can probably go on and on all night about how amazing of a time I am having and how this is actually the best time of my life loving every second and developing my soundscape and skills as an artist and how much I love all my new family but I need to rest my CPU (brain☺️) cause class starts at 10 & we have our A&R presentations tomorrow!
I will forever be a part of the Mixmasters family and will definitely be back shortly!

Learned more here in 1 week than in the past 2 years!
I’ve learned more here in less than one week than I had my past 2 years producing by myself. No joke. This was such a pivotal experience for me to have in my musical journey and I’m so glad I decided to go through with it. It was honestly a bit of a leap of faith, as I’m still a beginner producer, but I got along very well with Adam and he told me that there were people who’ve been before who had never touched a DAW, so this made me feel a bit more confident in my decision because I have been familiar with ableton.
The people I met will 100% stay in my circle of like-minded people and I’m so fortunate to have met such intelligent, generous, and talented friends. I wish the retreat was longer!
If I were to do it again, however, I definitely would go into it with more preparation and more experience (and a better computer😭), as I said I’m still a beginner. It was, at certain times, frustrating trying to continue working on finishing a track because I would find myself not knowing any of the producing secrets or where to go next. One of our 3 coaches was sick so we were definitely limited and I get that.
Also, Andrew, Chrissy, Adam… I love you guys, and I loved meeting you all, I seriously hope we stay connected! But honestly, try not to mislead people when advertising saying it’s an “all inclusive” retreat and then the day we get there say that drinks or other extras are not included. I don’t mind paying 3€ for a beer or drink because I’m not personally there to get drunk or party, but I definitely felt mislead somewhat in that regard but that’s the least of my worries now. I also had to pay more out of pocket for other things like my taxi to and from the villa (I assumed the shuttle would at least pick us up with the amount of money we spent). Maybe I’m just being an ignorant American, but I felt a little mislead. But these are all minuscule problems compared to the entirety of the trip. SO WORTH IT REGARDLESS! Other than that, I have no complaints. I would recommend this retreat to anyone 100% unless you’re just literally starting out fresh fresh. Definitely smart to have some prior knowledge and experience producing/DJing.

1000% worth it. Had the best time of my life. Made so many new music friends that were all motivated to take things to the next level. Learned everything I wanted to know, stayed in a great place with great food etc. It was a blast! If you're thinking about going, do it, you won't regret it.

A dream experience!
Everything was taken care of during this experience:
The time with the coaches and been very useful and i've learned many things in a short time.
Spending time with other passionate people has been very inspiring and everyone was friendly and helpful.
The company took us to different places that we visited as a group, also at metrica studios, which was super.
The villa itself was amazing, clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and always making sure that everything was fine with all of us.
The food was exceptional, healthy and tasty.
The whole experience has been fantastic, truly a dream. I thank everyone who made it so special.

Great experience that could get even better with adjustments
I’ll give mixmasters 5 stars since they delivered on giving me a life changing experience. I think there are things that can be fine-tuned to improve the experience, but they are genuinely trying to offer a great retreat for music producers and give a return on the value so I think the shortcomings will be fixed and for each short coming there were several things that exceeded expectation.
The food and the villa exceeded expectation. This is more important than you would think because you are sharing meals with the coaches and peers and it is a great opportunity to bond and network over a delicious meal.
The coaches also exceeded expectation. They really worked hard each day giving basically nonstop advice to students. The coaching is one on one and they coaches did a good job of meeting everyone where they are at to give them the best value.
The retreat can benefit from better communication and a little more structure. The communicated materials should just line up closer to the actual experience to better meet expectations, and the structure should be a little more rigid to try to give more equal coaching to each student (while not being too rigid to cut off momentum).
The structure could also easily be fixed by having fewer students so there is more time for each student. That brings me to my only real gripe with the time was that more students were on the retreat than originally communicated. This eats into time with coaches, and even though they brought on an additional coach it’s preferred to have more time with the coach you came to see.

The Best Week of My Life
I felt called to go to Ibiza for a MixMasters retreat, And it was the best choice I've ever made in my life. The Magic is real. Being mentored by the best DJs and producers of all time, in a breathtaking Villa overlooking the Mediterranean Sea while being catered to by your own personal gourmet chef Is an experience that you will never forget... Being in a mastermind of like-minded individuals, all working towards the same goal in a collaborative setting allows you to focus on your production and your music and your art in a way that you never have before. Believe me when I say that I was capable of doing things that were previously impossible to me while I was at Mix Masters Ibiza. Chrissy did a fantastic job of managing, organizing, facilitating the retreat. Though I did not enjoy being criticized for working on one song for 3 weeks!!! All in all, it was the absolute best week of my life, and I ended up staying an additional 2 weeks because it was so good. If you are feeling called to go, listen to your intuition.
Before you arrive at the Villa, be sure to spend a few sunsets at Es Vedra.
And during the retreat, be sure to spend at least a few sunsets at Punta Galera.
Be prepared to stay at least a few extra weeks because it really is that good...

What a paradise
Can't recommend this experince enough, good surroundings to inspire you producing, there is a great idea, atmosphere and team behind the retreat, welcoming staff and accommodating coaches.
The villa is in beautiful surroundings cleaned well, with pool steam room and sauna. There are alot of rooms on offer, my adise would be if you are an early sleeper maybe choose a quiet room there are options and not the one next to where the decks and studio are, I will definitely be visiting again when I can.
Lastly the food, hats off to Darren and his team the food was amazing, be sure to ask him for dessert 🤌 also a big thank you to Chrissy, Lanka, Scott, Adam and Danny 🙏

I have to say I was skeptical about the previous reviews before I came, they seemed too good to be true. lo and behold. they were TRUE! a totally unique experience that was so fulfilling and inspiring. met amazing people here. I learned so much and leveled up more than I could have imagine. mind you, I put in 14hr work days, but they really paid off. write 5 songs in 5 days. the staff was incredible! so sweet and thoughtful and very organized. I can write an entire review on the food. Chef Darren was out of this world. great food great people great learning,. I would give it more stars if I could.

Inspiring and unforgettable week
Inspiring and unforgettable week with the Mixmasters family in Ibiza!
Spending time with house music royalty and learning so much from them and the rest of the gang I’m still buzzing and full of positivity.
As well as learning how to mix vocals from the best in the business I was inspired by how much everyone wanted to collaborate, help, listen, learn and enjoy.
The villa was excellent and the food was out of this world! Well designed meals full of fresh, healthy meals..the first time I've spent a week in Ibiza and not put any weight on!
The atmosphere was great and to receive so much time and attention from a grand total of 6 legends over the week was beyond my initial expectations!
The whole Mixmasters staff were great too, all in all an incredible week and I couldn't recommend this highly enough.
I'll definitely be heading back!

Best week ever.
The Mixmasters Retreat in Ibiza was one of the best weeks of my life for many reasons. The atmosphere was incredible, and the coaches were all super helpful and friendly. Not to mention the food was excellent and overall staff were great in helping out with whatever I needed. To have a place to work music with like minded people was a dream and I’m sure I’ll be back again real soon.
