This week away in Ibiza was much more than I could have expected. On top of having amazing coaches and perfect environment, the group was so friendly and talented that it created the best conditions to work and get even more creative.
The food was homemade crazy good and the villa authentic. The organisation team is chill but goal focused so great balance in general.
Being able to work, live and talk about techno/music with passionates all day long by the bar&pool is just priceless.
Thanks Mixmasters !

This doesn't even begin to talk about the bonds and camaraderie built with my fellow students. Bonds hopefully that last lifetimes...

I am forever changed and my creativity and enthusiasm to write have never been higher.

I had the privilege of attending the MixMasters Production Retreat with Wehbba, Josh Wink and Funk D’Void, an incredible experience that exceeded all expectations. The one-on-one sessions with legendary artists provided invaluable insights, fostering creativity and innovation through collaboration with fellow music enthusiasts. The inspiring camaraderie, top-notch accommodations, and thoughtful arrangements ensured our comfort throughout the retreat. For serious music producers, MixMasters Production Retreat is a must, offering a chance to learn from legends, collaborate with peers, and enjoy exceptional hospitality.

All of the support staff made me feel comfortable and "at home". It felt wonderful to get away from the dangers of "American" food. The rooms were secure, and the location is very secure. This all contributes to your being able to sit and think about what you want to do with your music.
Coaches will put on their headphones and listen to what and how you are producing. They helped me by listening to the bass and kicks. They checked the phasing and gave a few arrangement suggestions such as, "let's extend your track out to 5 mins." Or "add a hat pattern here"....at the end they will ask if YOU are happy with YOU are hearing.

In the end I am very satisfied with my decision to attend. As a producer who created a lot of tracks up to a certain point, I was finally able to tackle the "sticking points".

It's also wonderful to be in the presence of like minded individuals who are all at different stages of their creative path. There is only so much advice/feedback you can receive from people who don't enjoy the same genres that you do or don't understand the specific challenges of being a producer. This solves this problem. I wish I went sooner. I hope to attend again in the future. If you are serious do it! No matter what level you are at, YOU WILL LEARN. SAFE TRAVELS AND 🙏 GOOD LUCK 👍

Went on the Ibiza retreat with Josh Wink, funk dvoid, and Wehbba and it was life changing.

Firstly the vibes of everyone who works at Mixmasters are great; like they're all on team you having a good experience and seem to really care about it. Ish, Chrissy, Rebecca, Danny... theyre super helpful and dope.

Secondly, the coaches. I mean we hit the jackpot with our coaches. I love the track I made with them; I loved their approach and Ive been making tunes for about 15 years.

Thirdly, we really had a great crew of people. Everyone was from all over the world, everyone was really passionate about their music and art, and they made good tunes and were fun to hang out with.

Was a great experience. 10/10 would go again.

Only thing that could be improved is maybe some mosquito netting, and like... snacks in the hotel rooms.

ps the hotel is a castle with like knights in armor and stuff. it's rad

I’ve just returned from my 2nd Mixmasters retreat. Both have been amazing experiences and have been inspirational on two main fronts.
The first. I don’t know anywhere else you can directly access the knowledge and help of some of the best producers in the electronic music industry. As an aspiring producer, that’s worth its weight in gold. My technical skills and songwriting have come on leaps and bounds because of this alone.
The second. You are amongst peers who are on exactly the same journey as you. Everyone is there to learn and improve themselves. This collective vibe pushes you even further, and creates a group of friends that keep in contact and provide help and feedback for each other going forward.
This has been a great investment and given me the confidence that my own abilities are where they need to be to succeed in the music industry.

I attended the Mixmasters retreat in Ibiza and I am on the Get Signed Accelerator program. The Retreat was a thoroughly enlightening experience. The coaching was exceptional, featuring industry experts like Ben Westbeech, Seamus Haji, Audiojack and Jack Broom. They provided concrete, actionable insights on everything from arrangement, energy levels, mixing to social media strategy and reaching out to labels.

But it's not just about the coaching; it's also about the community. The retreat attracted a group of like-minded individuals who are just as committed and passionate about music production as I am. This led to a rich exchange of ideas, strategies, and mutual support that didn't end with the retreat. We've all stayed in touch and are building lasting relationships based on our shared passions and goals.

What sets Mixmasters and the GTA program apart is their balanced approach to success. They provide top-notch resources and mentorship but also emphasise the importance of your own effort and persistence. This isn't a quick fix; it's a comprehensive, realistic path to success in the music industry. I'm in the process of reaching out to labels and feel both well-prepared and optimistic about the journey ahead.

Had 2 wonderful retreats, 2 weeks at beautiful villa with many top artists, other influential people from music industry and other student artists with same interests. My recommendation to every artist who want to learn, connect and see where his current skill level is and how much he needs to learn to achieve his goals.

Fantastic week with some amazing people, tutors, the hosts and of course other guests, where some wonderful connections have been made. The villa is grand and in its surrounding, think jurassic park when coming thru the gates. Rooms are spacious, the cooks are brilliant, they make sure you dont go hungry. Overall a cherised experience.

Also 3 of the best in the business music producers on hand every day coaching and mentoring throughout the week.
Visits to Pikes and Metrica recording studios and so much more, truly a week to remember.

I was on the fence on coming to the Mixmasters retreat due to the fact that I am a beginner in Ableton and have never produced a track. I decided to take a leap of faith and go. Well I’m actually on my flight back home listening to the first track Ive ever produced ! Huxley, Denney and Steve really worked with me and gave me feed back and tips that helped me finish the track in a span of 5 days. If you are looking to take your music career to the next level don’t think about it twice and take the leap. Trust me you won’t regret it.

I went to my second retreat this year and the results are insane!
The organizing was spot on and the quality of residing at the villa ...

The other attendants were awesome and we all worked really well together.
If you want to get stuff done and have the best help to get it done then mixmasters is the go-to!

It is wonderful for those of us who have been walking the hard path of music producers for years to see and feel the emotions of A&R professionals live as they listen and comment with advice on the music of our colleagues. A superbly organized almost perfectly technically executed event. We await the next edition. Good luck!

I haven't yet experienced the retreat in ibiza, but the online content and professionals involved I'm the Mixmasters training webcasts are outstanding. You cannot get better as more and more top notch musicians are becoming involved. Congratulations to all involved, especially Danny Savage with his unparalleled drive and determination. Mixmasters are ever evolving and I look forward to some in person coaching by the best. It is a must for upcoming producers and musicians.

What an absolute overload of knowledge and information. For me personally MixMasters is the gift that keeps giving. Direct contact with house music’s finest, learning the marketing and socials side and some goal setting to finish up! That’ll do nicely.

I followed their bootcamp on facebook and it was amazing. They spread absolute knowledge about music industry and many helpful tips to help my career. All for free. Precious guys, and it was even funny. These guys are really great guys. Some of the best djs in the world and very friendly. Definitely the best in the game! Thank you guys for existing and being exactly as you are!
