Ever since they changed their customer representatives from the Polynesians to the new Pakistani represented... The customer service has been dishonest,mean, rude and just flat out horrible, please fire the ones who lie and are just out to screw us.
Please bring back the sweet Polynesians that were always helpful and respectful. I have been with MetroPCS since 2014 and I have never experienced such rudeness and dishonesty until this year!

I would it though that if you was an existing customer for years you would have more perks , like how is possible that is cheaper to get a whole new number than keeping your own number it makes no sense . I try to get a new phone ended up paying $250.00 for a new phone but if I would have get a new number I would have to pay anything but the activation fee . Or if I would have add a line to my existing I would it got a brand new phone and a free tablet. Then I could have just have cancel the second phone switch my number to it and keep the new phone and tablet makes no sense at all .they loosing customers to other providers .

I got overcharged for things i never asked for. Clerck was the manager chaged me around $30 for a phone case. $26 for a screen protector and $27 for a wall charger. All that i could've got for around $25 on ebay or Amazon. She lied saying the phone came with a free case protector and wall socket. The service was so bad i had a (5g uc) that was supper slow. I called customer service they couldn't fix it. 2 werks later i moved to cricket wireless everything is perfect.

Don't ever use metro...they rip people off and customer service lies...I was told bill was $60.. then I get a $75 bill....how? I complained and they told me go in the store on next month and pay $60 but they wouldn't accept it...told me it was $65 unless I did auto pay...oh,I just love how auto pay wants to take your bill 2 days before it's due... that's bs...i went to pay my $65 in the store on 3/28 and once again I run into bs...i was told $70...$65 if I pay online $60 for auto pay but last month they wanted the $65 when i had $60 so they lie.they aren't worth having period when u can go to visible and get unlimited everything including hotspot for $25 a month..... I'm never using metro again they are a rip off

Please do not become a MetroPCS customer their customer support is terrible they do nothing to help but change your account offer you a new phone and tell you it is free then when you get the phone they charge you for the entire phone also they tell you they will give you a better plan than the one you already have and that's not true as well I also tried to apply my ACP with them and they give me a hard time and never apply for the Affordable connectivity program MetroPCS has really bad service it was never like this but after covid hit corporate America cares less about their customers and more about there pockets.

I have been trying to join metro way to my times in too many ways. Went to a store and the guy working there tried to rip me off for $350. The phone and sign up should have been$117. Went in and showed him what I wanted . He proceeded to say oh no that isn't the price it's $350. Told him that's not right, he then said, ok what do you want to pay???? He followed me out repeatedly asking what I wanted to pay.
Tried online 6x and received error messages so call "help" center. Explained everything to the person. They said I understand the proceeded to ask me exactly what a second ago she understood. Spoke with 5 people 5 separate times, got 5 different answers, non got me any closer to solving my issue(s). You want to get pissed off go to MetroPCS.
Hijacked my phone
I bought a new phone from them in mid November. I paid for it full. I switched carrier in February but Metro will not unlock my phone for use with any other carrier for 6 months after purchase. I was not warned of this policy and have no contracts with Metro for the phone or service. I had to go back to my old phone while my new phone goes unused until May.
Awful provider, horrible security, do not recommend
Had it back in the day, someone hacked into my account and ran up about $300 in purchases. It was a nightmare to get that money back, I ended up calling someone in corporate through a number that I found on a Reddit post and was able to rectiify.
Fast forward a few years, I travel outside the U.S. and need to use SMS desperately. They cannot authorize an E-Sim because of the security they put my account into after THEIR mistake.
Fast forward a couple months, I miss one month's payment and they DEACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. This really sucks because I was locked into a legacy plan and now, I have to settle for an inferior alternative plan until I get back to the U.S. and change carriers.
You guys lost a customer of many years because you wanted to make a few extra bucks, you are extremely short sighted I can't wait to get home and change carriers.

I bought a phone on December 23rd, 2023. The sales girl, Sky did not give a receipt or business card but promised to email my receipt to me but she never did . She sold me a 2G phone for $222.23 which I charged to my Chase card. The phone was too slow, display light turns off , my contacts were not properly restored etc.and I couldn't go online unless at home using WiFi. I called CHASE BANK and complained and I was refunded pending investigation but I was told to return the phone back to the store.
Sky, the sales girl was out of control and started insulting me so I called CHASE BANK and place my phone on a speaker, SKY turned the music so loud I couldn't hear or speak on my phone. All of a sudden Sky asked me to leave the store and I refused, so she locked me inside the store and put her hands on me, then I told SKY what she just did is KIDNAPPING, then I called 911.
It was an horrible experience, my Son took me to this store, so I called him to listen too. At last when I refused to leave SKY refunded my money back to my Chase account but she also changed my password . I found out when I went to another MPCS store in Harlem but the sales girl was able to give me a Temporary password and I bought a new phone etc she sold a charger that was for iphone for Samsung.

Phone service doesn't fully suck but isn't great the real issue is the customer service ive never had a company try so hard to get over on you and steal service it's absolutely ridiculous they will turn your phone off two weeks after you paid the bill and try to force you to pay again don't recommend whatsoever

The main complaint is that I asked for a certain phone and they talked me out of it and I got a crappy Samsung phone that sucks. It's the worst phone ever f*** MetroPCS. I specifically asked them for the phone I had before which they had in stock. Now I'm stuck!!!

We have been dealing with customer Service for 2 days and 10 calls plus several emails on the issue of my husband's phone of not being able to access his voicemails and that when he dials for voicemail it says his account is not recognized. We have talked to several supervisors and customer Service reps and they all get rude and when connected to a supervisor they won't let us finish saying what is wrong with the phone and then get into our account and then our bill went from $87.00 to $95.00 and they charged us to reset his voicemail that hasn't worked in 2 days. I am VERY VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE SERVICE FROM this company.
Device Change, Plan messed up. Support failed to fix.
A few weeks ago, I went into a MetroPCS store at Ormond Beach Florida. I wanted a device change to a new phone, and so spoke to the rep at the store. He said doing the change online yourself was free, but that he could do it now given that I call in later and ask to waive the fee and claim I didn't know about it.
Now at this point I should have just thought about a little more and gone with the easier option of doing it from home but I felt like if this guy was telling me to do something, he would know best, so I just let him do it. During the process he was unable to apply my current plan which was a cheaper unlimited plan, so he told me that I would need to also correct that on the same phone call. After going home and calling MetroPCS twice to try and get it waived, I realized that they weren't going to waive it, and it also happened that I ended up paying for a more expensive plan I didn't want and also for the device change.
In between the first and second phone call to MetroPCS I went back to the store and told them that they did not waive it. He told me to try and call again to get a different representative and hopefully to get it waived via a phone rep asking a floor manager. This did not happen. I decided to send a letter to T-Mobile's customer response team, in which it was explained to me that what the store did was wrong, and they "respectfully decline"d to refund me.
I ended off my interaction to the customer response rep with ensuring that my phone plan would change back to my original one when this cycle ended. However it still does not solve the issue with the time I wasted, the device fee which could of bren free, and the fact that I have ran out of data from the 5gb plan I was forced onto and I'm currently dealing with slow data which is an issue for my work. It's one thing to waste money and cause me to lose time but it's another thing when I can't even use my phone. I depend on unlimited data and this is a problem for me.

I bought a phone last month and then went on vacation. I came home and started using it and discovered the battery would be dead within 24 hours or at best just over that. I went back to the store and the man working there told me I should call the 611 number and if they couldn't help to bring it back and he would give me a new phone. I called the 611 number and was on for over an hour with 3 different people continually having to explain my issue. Finally, a woman told me to bring it back to the store and they would give me a new phone and for them to call 611. Well, today I went there, and I had the same man wait on me. Instead of calling 611 he called his manager and the manager said there was nothing they could do but I could do an upgrade. I explained that that is not what I wanted and had been told by his employee and the 611 rep that I could get a new phone since the battery in mine was defective. I was told there is only a 7-day period for that, and it was on my receipt. I was never ever told that and the same man I bought the phone from had been told I was going on vacation. Today was my third time with him waiting on me. I was screwed over big time!!!!!! No apologies for the lie and was told they could not cancel my auto pay as well. I was furious and said so in a not so nice way! I went to my car and called 611 and spoke to 4 different people. I thought one was going to help but had to switch phones because of the low battery %. The last person I spoke with said he was sorry and understood how upset I must be but there was nothing to be done. I told him the gentleman before him had told me to call on my other phone and give a pin number that he gave me. They would not use the pin #. He did however take my auto pay off for me and now I have to call back at the end of my time and cancel the service entirely. I would NOT EVER recommend Metro PCS to anyone again! I have been with them for about 8 years. To be lied to by 2 people is outrageous and to have to keep driving back and forth and spend hours on the phone is ridiculous! I wish I could leave no stars! I want to add that the man who sold me the phone and told me to come back if 611 would not help told me he would help get me a new phone. He works at the Manchester, CT store at The Shoppes at Buckland Hills. Oh, and their customer service used to be great! NOT ANYMORE! Very sad!!!!!!
