Don't Waste Your Time or Money

Conveniently, MetroPCS will always "fix" your problems with a solution that requires you hanging up or restarting the phone. I've had this issue for over four months. Every time I call, the resolution ends with something that disconnects the employee and I.
When I refuse to do that, I'm "transferred to a supervisor" where the phone rings for 15+ minutes or it's just radio silence but the call is still connected.
I'm paying $80 for two lines that only work in WiFi, which means they're useless. I've talked to half of India and repeated myself over and over and over again with no improvement. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Great Experience (Mena) - Brookhaven, PA Store

It had been a few years since I purchased a new cell phone. I visited the Metro Store in Brookhaven, PA. The rep that was assisting me was Mena. She was fantastic and explained the entire process...the best type to get, functionality, pricing, etc.. She even applied the protective cover on the new cell, which anyone will tell you is a real pain. She did it flawlessly,

So in closing, what a great experience I had at the Brookhaven, PA store. Mena made that possible.

Their wifi is totally non existent on my phone in Maybank at Cedar Creek Lake
Have contacted both metro PCs and T .Mobile about no internet service/ reception and they do nothing. Also do not buy their Wifi modules. Neither company works in this area. It's an easy fix but they're profit hungry and won't spend the money to fix at towers. Do not waist your money if you want the internet on phone or at home.

All I have to say is Metro is the worst I will never get with them every time I call my family members or friends the phone hangs up I even got attacked on the bus and I couldn't even call 911 not only that I go to the customer service in the store they order me another phone thinking it's the phone well it wasn't the phone it's the services I've been with Metro for a long time and now they did this new thing where I don't know supposedly you're a new customer whatever well that's just a rip off you know I used to be able to get a free phone every month and I can't even do that I don't even care anymore I will never go back to Metro I'm sticking to Verizon that's about it anyways don't waste your time with these people my TV it's a Roku TV I can't even watch when movies and buffs my tablet the same thing it buffs I'm so fed up with these people I don't even know why they're in business

Lack of Knowledge and Rude

Customer service informed me I could return a phone I purchased from a different state at any Metro store and hung up on me mid-sentence. My local store said I cannot do that. I called customer service again and asked for help returning it without driving 8 hours roundtrip to the store I bought the phone from, and they told me there's nothing that can be done and to just go ahead and drive. I asked if I could get a return slip online or even ship the phone in, they said no. Absolutely no help for someone who is trying to return a purchase even though I've been a customer for 6 years. They didn't even apologize for giving me the incorrect information.

I am eligible to add a line to my plan

I am eligible to add a line to my plan. This has been confirmed by customer service. However. They refused to add a line without changing my plan first. Then finally admitted that I wouldn't have to change my plan. But that they won't sell me the phone to add the line. That I would have to bring my own phone. Make this make sense.

Metro COME ONNNNN!!

Metro COME ONNNNN!!! I Have been a loyal customer for a long time (7 years to be exact) and every time I had an issue or a question I would go in a store or call customer service, and both would give me attitude or rude customer service, let me wait on hold for a long time while I know they are in the background being lazy or something like that and not understand issues. That's the kind of people you hire?!?! REALLY!?!? COME ON!!! I had to explain to a guy my little question for about 15 minutes before he got it. I think I'll be better at another phone service if you don't get better service.

I would give 0 stars but 1 is the least…

I would give 0 stars but 1 is the least amount. My son and I drove 50 minutes( we live up in the foothills this is the closest to us) to go to Metro PCs to pay his bill. There are 2 metros in Yuba City. The first one we went to was supposed to close at 7 pm. We checked the closing time before leaving home. We got there at 6:45 pm. They were closed. There hr also posted on the window said 7 pm closing time. I was upset but we knew 7 minutes down the road inside Yuba/Sutter mall there was another metro and it closed at 8 pm. We got to that one at 7 pm and it also was closed. The business across the way said they left at 6 pm. Today. Well there hrs posted 8 pm. There were no signs at either place saying they were going to be closed early. The internet didn't show them closing early. It cost me 35 dollars to in gas, a wasted trip of 2:30 hrs. This is unacceptable. I think it is disgusting they would do this and not warn people they close early sometimes. These company's that don't care about their customers deserve to have to go out of business.

Flex-let down..Metro custo service- let down

Metro! COME ON!!!! I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years straight ..my current plan (60$ w/prime ) I've had and rather enjoyed...but now your pushing this Ridiculous. FLEX plan. Now I'm.going to speak on behalf of existing customers who may/may not want to switch to the flex plan from their current.existing metro plan.
What value are you giving me? Essentially your upping my bill 15$ a month ..for what exactly ? What value have you added to the flex plan that would make me want to switch...initially I thought it was a cool plan, untill I realized I can NOT take advantage of the new phone until 12 months (1 year) time of active flex plan ...
One of the selling point for u all on this flex thing is giving existing members that new customer vibe...BUT HOW? all your doing for existing customers is making them pay more for the SAME EXACT PLAN. im essentially financing a phone , that I won't get untill it's been a year

I was supposed to get a new phone to replace this refurbished phone u sent me after I filed an insurance claim..and you all never made.good on that either ..I'm still stuck with a moto stylus that came with no stylus and partial sound laggy as all get out...
Needless to say metro your not listening and your not looking out for your long time.l customers ...which most like in my case..are just about to switch to another company .

Well I did really like Metro.

Well I did really like Metro.. I I honestly have no idea how I got put on auto pay. I never do that normally because in case if I don't have the money in my account or if the money in my account is for something more important than a phone bill.. well my phone was still active on May 31st. And was still going to be active for another day or two. They withdrew my auto pay on the 30th in the morning. On the 31st I called to get a transfer out pen because spectrum was offering me a better deal. While on the phone with the agent I was telling him I was at charter transferring out. I asked him for a refund on the $80 for the month of service for the two lines that I was not going to be using. He told me he was creating the case and that he was doing that for me. Throughout the next week and a half I called to check about this refund more than once and every agent assured me there was this case it was going to take 10 days for the refund. After waiting two weeks now... I am told that because I transferred out my account got closed therefore I don't get my refund.. I was like well then the guy on the phone should have told me that if I transferred out before my refund I wouldn't get it. That's $80 that I'm just out now and that I had more than one agent lied to me over a week period of time telling me that I was getting a refund... For them to tell me that because I transferred out in my account got closed I just out my money. So I would at least not recommend auto pay.. because of you ever switch companies you'll be losing that money. And then what's the point of them even recording the phone calls because the guy never even told me that I was going to lose the money nor did the five other agents when I was calling and asking about this in the meantime.. I'm just really pissed off because I switched to spectrum to save money because they were offering me a better deal. And then now because of me being on autopay which must be when you pay with the card online it must automatically click auto pay for you because I definitely would not have did it.. now I'm just out $80 that I was counting on for a bill. Thanks Metro .. this is how they get you not all that yada yada b******* this is where they get you..

Poor customer service been a Metro customer for 10…

I have been a Metro customer for 10 years but not much longer. I recently bought a new phone from them and did not know it had half the storage of my old phone. I took it back a few days later to exchange it and the store refused to do anything. I called Metro and they also would not do anything to satisfy me. The fact that the store and the company are willing to lose a 10 year customer over a $90 phone says all you need to know about their customer service.

All I can say is do not ever buy anything from them because I did it never worked tried to return it for exchange or refund nope even though it says rite on receipt 14days you call the 1-800#they don’t care either the girl working there very rude called me a liar in so many words claiming it worked it did not so if this is how y’all treat people I do not see how y’all still in business I’m shocked I will be sure to tell anyone I know do not give them your business

Verizon or AT&T even boost mobile would be a better choice

Six years of on time payments, and until a month ago good service. I have a special needs child and a father with autism, and I can use the phone I'm still making payments on to use wifi. Customer service has been rude with no solution. Brick and mortar stores no noting but to try and get you to buy something else's. The last straw was Customer service reps laughing in the background while I stayed in hold for over 20 minutes to receive ZERO in return.

MetroPCS Tony is the best

Tony at MetroPCS on 1st Ave, NYC, is wonderful. When I walked into the shop, I was practically in tears over my Samsung phone purchased at Best Buy. When I left I was so relieved and happy. Thank u for all ur help, Tony. He was so kind and helpful.

Company doesn't operate very well.

Worst company ever! People in the store are clueless, customer support lies so they can get you off the phone, not helpful at all. Also, if you buy a phone you will be stuck with them for 6 months even if you don't have a contract. Very dishonest, go with a better company.
5/29/24 Went into the store to get refund for money paid to be able to use my phone overseas, since it wouldn't work because according to their customer service, Metro doesn't have partners in the UK. Person the store employee called refused to refund or credit the money because they "couldn't tell if I used it". If the service isn't actually available, how could I use it? That was the problem! Fortunately the store employee was able to help, at least a couple employees understand customer service.

BE CAREFUL USING METRO PCS

I had to pay for another phone IN MY NAME even though my son bought me a new phone with a new number. I explained to Metro PCS that I needed this to get into my bank account which I have a large amount of money that I can't get access to without showing the phone in my name. Metro knew that my new phone was a prepaid phone and would not be accepted but took my money anyway. The salesperson also said I was getting too of the line phone and I traded in a very expensive Z-fold phone. My new phone is one of the cheapest in the market and I still can't get into my bank account. Be careful if you use Metro PCS. They will lie to you just to get your money.

Realmente pensé que metro pc era una…

Realmente pensé que metro pc era una buena compañía con una buena red pero me equivoque, tiene una pésima señal no agarra red cuesta que cargue..otro detalle es que estuve pagado 60 casi por una año y medio sin saber que pagaba 40 y me cobraban 20 por llamadas a países que ni siquiera llamo .eso es un robo por que nunca me notificaron que me cobraban 20 yo pensé que yo paga 60 solo por mi línea. Me di cuenta que estaba pagando 20 digo mejor regalando 20dlsde más por un día fui a pagar mi línea y ala semana el mismo problema no tenia señal que no tenia datos si acaba de pagar fue alli donde llame e hize comentario que como es posible que pago 60dld y no tengo red y fue alli donde me dijieron pero me fijieron sin saber ellos que yo no sabía para Ellos yo sabia...me dijieron quecyo solo pagaba 40 pero que eran 20 dls más por que tenia el plan llamadas internacionales a canada que nunca llamo y República Dominicana peor por que no conozco a nadie..realmente eso es un robo y lo peor es que no tienen una buena señal .y no e cambiado de compañía por que tengo mi numero mas de 2 años .Realmente pc metro no sirve

They changed their customer service Representatives

Ever since they changed their customer representatives from the Polynesians to the new Pakistani represented... The customer service has been dishonest,mean, rude and just flat out horrible, please fire the ones who lie and are just out to screw us.
Please bring back the sweet Polynesians that were always helpful and respectful. I have been with MetroPCS since 2014 and I have never experienced such rudeness and dishonesty until this year!
