amazon and went to store to activate. Now my bill increased $1.50. Call customer service to understand increase. I was told the $1.50 increase will only last 1 billing cycle, but no explaination for increase. Just Awful.

If I could give them zero Stars I would give them zero Stars I've been a customer of theirs for 23 years and have had nothing but a hard time. Every time I speak to somebody I get a different story one person will tell me that they did something on my account and then come to find out they didn't do what they were supposed to. My latest interaction I just paid my bill the day before yesterday and now my phone is shut off due to non-payment and I cannot get a hold of customer service because my bill needs to be paid first before I can speak with somebody so if you paid your bill and they didn't do what they were supposed to and your phone gets shut off you can't even speak with somebody to fix the problem. Metro is a horrible company who does whatever they want with no care for their customers.

Had set up service repeatedly month…

Had set up service repeatedly month after month asking cause limited income has to be set up on the 3. Repeated having our phone shut off my mom renal kidney failure and dealing with problems. 20 hrs to get it changed then they said they would credit the $28 fee failed to and shut the phone off. They are liars and have nothing good to say. Repeated being told pay the bill and we can fix this. Well now we had to pay the fee and all is is a bunch of crap. They never will have another good or referal from me will be escalating this problem. Customer service said they would waive the fee cause inconvenience and woke to our phones off this problem will guarantee be a court issue

Dissapointed much

I'm simply gobsmacked.My phone broke so I was left wit no choice but to get a new one bearing in mind that the broken phone was forced on me by the company when I was going to get my sim, Fast foward to a few days ago, after getting a new phone and inserting my sim, it would not work. I called the customer care and went through the rigorous hassle of switching lines using the the online steps guided by an agent since I did not have $35 to shell out to have it done in-store.

Tell me why, after completing the entire process, I received a message that my phone would. not work on my $25 plan except I switch to a $55 plan. I currently can't use my phone because I can't afford the new plan. My new phone is there, and I can't use it.

This is rather unfair and unsupportive. I have no reason to continue with this service or recommend it to anyone else. I guess their agents know these things because they are always extremely nice on the phone. Yes, I am aware that they are carrying out their duties, but they are the only thing that makes the metro tolerable. I am confident I wont be with metro for long niether will I be recommending

MetroPCS more like Metro POS

All I can say is wow!! I went in to get a new phone because mine completely broke so I had no choice. Apparently when I got a new phone they completely switched my phone plan (making me pay extra) without saying anything. According to Metro they don't offer that plan anymore but it would have been nice to know that ahead of time instead of just changing my plan without saying anything. There is no reason why my plan should change just because I get a new phone... Wth does that have to do with anything?! Not only did they change my plan I completely lost Amazon prime which was free and now I have to pay $15 a month. That is absolutely ridiculous! Been a customer with Metro for a very long time but as soon as I get the money you bet your ass I will be switching. Metro is horrible yeah they might be cheaper but I'd rather pay the extra money to go somewhere else. Get it together people

I called today 1/23/25 Thursday at 0743 AM. I spoke to Carol from remote area her accent sounds like India. She said the lowest plan for 3 lines $95.50 monthly after I removed hot spot and 2 gigabytes data TCL Tab 8 but I went to the agent in USA they said $86 something. I was confused try to ask her questions but she hung up the phone at 0758 AM on me. Very bad disrespect customer service!

Scam at the store and terrible Customer Service.

At first, we have been scammed at the St.Cloud, MN, MetroPCS store: store representative Chris told us, that by the law (his exact words), we can't buy a new phone without a "safety package", which included phone insurance and extra accessories (total $90 for the accessories). And he didn't give us a receipt. (In one of the reviews Customer did mention not getting a receipt either, sounds like a pattern).
Later I called Customer Service and asked about the "safety package". Of course, it was a lie. Customer Service Rep told me to return the accessories, but we couldn't because we didn't get the receipt!!
I filed the complaint against the store. I was told it will be the investigation, and I will be informed by the e-mail about the results.
Two (!!) months later still nothing. Yesterday I called Customer Service asking about my complaint. First rep told me he will talk to his supervisor and kept me on hold most of the time. At the end he told me he is going to transfer me to his supervisor, and I will find out what is going to happen next. He put me on hold, and the line went dead. I was on the phone, but no one was answering. I got tired of waiting and did hang up. My total call (read- being on hold) lasted an hour and a half.
I called back, and the same story: no notes on account from previous rep, being on hold, and being "transferred" to supervisor. And the "dead" line. Another hour and a half. I did hang up again.
And here I realized: this is how they get rid of the Customers; they don't transfer you to anyone, they just put you on hold forever. You will hang up sooner or later. This is how bad the Customer Service is at MetroPCS.
If you have been scammed, you can contact the Attorney General in your State, they got a Consumer Protection Group, at least we got it in MN, and file a complaint. If we don't do anything, it will continue.

After giving a decent review to Metro…

After giving a decent review to Metro PCS I now have to go back and update my review of them, I had to contact customer service because I have been getting a whole lot of scam calls, I wanted to find out if there was anything Metro PCS could do to limit the amount of calls I was getting, the first representative I spoke with didn't speak good English and hurried through the process activating something and just told me the problem is fixed, he never told me what he had done or how he had fixed the problem, so I called back to find out what the first representative had done, that was a mistake, the second representative could speak a little better English but still didn't tell me a lot, she told me what the first representative had done and it was not much, he had activated something on my account that was supposed to limit the amount of spam calls I receive, I finally got frustrated and hung up, I still didn't get the information I needed and still don't know how I can limit the spam calls I get, I guess I'll have to install a call blocker app so I can get some peace, Thank You Metro PCS for nothing!!

Customer service from hell

I've been with metro PCs for about 6 months. So I go into the Salem,NJ office to find out why I paid for the $55.00 plan but the app says that I still owe $55.00 and my phone service and data were no longer on. Anyway, the Indian gentlemen who finally appeared from the back door to the counter was very disrespectful and nonchalant(I don't know if he was upset because I woke him up or he was eating, I have no clue )about the matter and refused to assist me numerous times and told me to call 611 which I told him that I did multiple times before I left the house to no avail and they told me that they couldn't help me because my service was suspended for nonpayment and he still refused to assist me. After numerous attempts of asking him if he can call customer service he eventually does.I literally had to beg him😡. What's going on with Metro and why are you hiring such people ? He doesn't care about serving customers ,he doesn't care about people at all;he is just there for the paycheck. After this month is up I'm no longer going to use Metro PCs service.

My complaint is about dishonesty and stealing customers' money. I visited 6515 Annapolis Rd Metro PCS store on 12/23/24 and found out the gentleman 'Juan' lied to me and told me that the
system would not take a gift card and credit card. He said I had to do one or the other and pay cash for the balance.. I had never heard this, but I needed the phone..I asked him for my receipt and he said he emailed it, but a receipt never appeared in my Inbox. The total cost of a $399 phone ended costing $493. I gave $100 gift card and paid the remaining in cash. This was the total cost of phone, taxes, and activation fee (charges were trumped up). Not to my surprise the only thing that showed on my account was the cost of upgrade device for $26. Unbelievable and shameful that some of these reps are stealing from hard working people who are struggling as well. It's sickening. There are other stores trying the same scheme by giving trumped up prices for phones, probably to pocket the extra cash. Metro needs to install cameras to watch their employees. I reported the gentleman to Metro PCS Customer Service and they are going to contact the DM. He needs to be reprimanded and or I need to be compensated because now I don't have proof of purchase of an item I honestly and literally paid for. Metro doesn't get the accurate figures for sold devices because this step is being omitted in the computer. So shameful and embarrassing for Metro PCS Company.

I honestly wouldn't leave any stars for…

I honestly wouldn't leave any stars for the company. I upgraded and purchased what was suppose to be a new phone. Two days later the screen started having lines in it and very blurry. I went back to the store and was told to turn my phone off and on and it should fix the issue. Well when I turned my phone back on there was a black circle on it. I have been back and forth trying to return the phone and the store refused numerous times saying I have to file an insurance claim even though its still under their warranty. I have been dealing with this for almost 2 months and I've been told to call customer care then customer care says go back to the store. It has been the worst experience I have ever dealt with. And now I'm out well over $100 and still not properly functioning phone.

This company stinks

This company stinks. I've been trying to get a port authorization number from them. My phone died and they insist that they have to send a 2-step code to my phone before they can assist me. THE PHONE IS DEAD!!!! This applies to the website and support services. I need to access the website to close the account, or they will continue to debit my checking account. Support service is totally useless. I explain the situation and they act like robots, not willing to assist me. I have the account number, account PIN, and payment information. The same applies to the porting department. TOTAL IDIOTS. At this point, I have to drive 30 miles to the bank to stop payment on this account. BEWARE of this joke of an organization. I would have given them a ZERO, if it was an option.

I have been a Metro PC client for a few years now and I really like the service provider but as of late I've been having a lot of issues with submitting payments to my account and everytime I try to get the situation resolved I'm getting the run around or unsolicited advice and offers but I still haven't gotten the issue/reason for contacting Metro PC unresolved. This has been going on now for the last 3-4 months. I'm so frustrated with this situation that I have thought about going to a whole different phone provider because I don't feel appreciated by the service provider I have.

This was for SIM’s card conversation . I wanted to know about why I needed to purchase a SIM card and the Expiration Date had not expired on the SIM’s card. I wanted clarification been with this company for over a decade before the pandemic I believe if the customer service is shady then I would need to find another phone company (I was belittled, over talked too, and they have no patience). This is including the Supervisors & Mangers. I currently on hold for the Corporate information (1:16: sec. counting minutes)?? Really, T-mobile sounds good about right now when you get the disrespect they displayed today.Just needed them to understand stand the SIM card case had expiration date 3/29/25. This is what you get for showing loyalty to a company. Well, no more… Rye #8040673 no help yelled and. Joseph #8081399 - Over talked me…. Your services was great to why I curtly finding a new phone company, wish this company the best….

Worst customer service hotline ever

Called customer service to see why they tooky prime membership off my account. Couldn't give me a reason . They put it back and tell me I can use it. Try to use it didn't work called again was on hold for 30 min just to tell me u have to wait 24 hrs to use it. And they can't do nothing about when they the ones that took it off total time wasted on phone 57 min 49 sec.
