Hi so it's not just one thing that made me decide to give a good review it's all the experiences that I continue to have with Metro PCS. I'm currently not the one to give reviews because I don't like dealing with it but when I feel that somebody's due for good quality services and definitely good customer service I will do my best to go out there and throw it out there. Every time that I've had experiences with MetroPCS it's always been positive and they always have helped me in every different manner as good as possible. Not ones have they not helped me and I've not been satisfied with what they've given me or told me and I definitely wanted to give a shout out to Jay with 611 is who I spoke with last it's not just him it's been many but he is provided great services to me great customer service great attitude no problems was willing to let me speak and listen to what I needed and also assisted me in the best way he could which was a positive aspect and out outlook for me I did appreciate him and I look forward to continuing business with MetroPCS in the future as I am now hope you all have a blessed day.

I switched from Metro PCS and they charged my credit card for another month's service after I left. After many calls to them I figured out that they just tell you lies to get you off the phone. The service is the worst I have ever experienced.
I have spent years suffering
I paid cash all at once for a brand new iPhone 12 pro max. That was stolen while I had find my Iphone on and still receive notifications for it yet no one can help me find it. Neither metro or apple. Then I paid full cash all at once for the iPhone 13, paid insurance every month had it for years but when it breaks I got told it would be cheaper for me to go find an unlocked phone online then to buy one through metro so I went a couple months with no phone. The whole time I didn't have a phone I was unable to gain access to any of my accounts most importantly my bank account because they all want to verify my phone number by a text and what do you know I had no phone. iPhones aren't cheap. I have been with metro for years and my issues are ongoing I am literally stuck using a cheap android when all my stuff is through I cloud on iPhones. I have spent hours on the phone with customer service with metro and with apple. I don't have the funds to be paying full price or even the lowered price for any of the iPhones I'm struggling to just live. We rely on our technology to organize and store important information that help us day to day. I have severe depression, anxiety and experience panic attacks. I see a therapist over better help which was on my phone. Which only made it all worse being unable to express my frustration to the person I pay to keep me sane. Not to mention the charges and subscriptions I lost and or was charged for that I had no way of straightening out because I had no phone!!! My sons school and boys and girls club program both run on the same app. again another thing I dont have access to. He plays on 2 different soccer teams which both use texts as way of communication. And guess what now he doesn't play on either because I had no access of the information!!! Ya I'm frustrated and no I would not recommend metro. I would not recommend apple. Yet that's exactly the device I need that holds all my information.

I recently purchased a router for internet use for my firestick when I got nit home it would not allow me to connect to the the internet I called the customer service number and they reviewed the system and told me to take the router back to the store so I returned it the next day they tested the system and informed me that it was defected I said no problem just give me another one they refused to do so saying they have to put in a ticket for the defected one and it would take 3 to 5 business days before I could receive another one I told them that this was unacceptable and to just refund my money they stated that they could not refund my funds due to policy so at this point I was confused why they just couldnt give me another router which they had and abundance of right in plain sight or just give me my money back so I stayed at the store and called the customer service number and after 2 hours of being on the phone with them mostly on hold they were able to direct the store to refund my money. This was the Ewing NJ olden ave site.
Nightmare network
Alright, Metro, gather 'round, because we need to talk. You know, for a company that prides itself on "no contracts," you sure know how to lock someone into a nightmare. You managed to take a simple "free phone" promo and turn it into a full-blown criminal investigation. That's not customer service; that's a new level of scam artistry!
You told this loyal customer they weren't "new," but then you sure made them feel like they were born yesterday when you pulled that upgrade switcheroo. An "upgrade" that costs more and gets me less? That's not an upgrade; that's just daylight robbery with a sim swap and a phone as a prop. And don't even get me started on your "return policy" that magically vanishes faster than a full signal bar in a concrete bunker. Several customer service agents and an app told you I'm eligible, but your store rep decided to rewrite the rules of reality. That's not just a miscommunication; that's a full-blown conspiracy!When I went back to rectify their daylight robbery, citing their advertised 7-14 day return policy, they hit me with the classic Metro maneuver: "no returns on upgrades." Because why honor your own policies when you can just make them up as you go along? It's less a business model and more a Ponzi scheme with touchscreens.
The third time, when I had customer service on the phone, practically begging them to understand the monumental scam you'd fallen victim to, the store employee had the audacity to lie to my face, then refuse to furnish a receipt. A receipt! Because when you're engaging in activities that might attract the attention of the FBI and local PD for obtaining money under false pretenses and misleading sales scams, documentation is just a liability, isn't it, Metro?
You forced this poor soul into a transaction they didn't want, then had the audacity to say "no returns on upgrades" when it was clearly a bait-and-switch. You're charging $230 for a Moto G 5G that apparently doubles as a black hole for customer satisfaction. And when they came back for the third time, you didn't even try to hide the fact that you were just straight-up lying. It's like you're actively trying to get roasted!
So, Metro, next time you advertise a "free phone," maybe just give the free phone. Or better yet, maybe just stop pretending you have a return policy. Because right now, the only thing you're "upgrading" is your customer's frustration, and the only thing "free" is the police report on file. You're not just selling phones; you're selling a masterclass in how to alienate your customers!
Fernando at 217 Main St
Fernando at 217 Main St, Hackensack, NJ figured out how to fix a problem with my wife’s line. She could not enable WiFi Calling. A rep at another Metro location could not figure it out. It turned out that an emergency address needs to be entered. Part of our address is East. However, some apps ask you to pick among addresses that specify E instead of East. Fernando changed the emergency address so that it ended in E rather than East. Bingo, it worked. We had lived with this problem for years through different iPhone models and nobody, including Apple, had figured it out until Fernando looked it over. Kudos to Fernando.
scammers at the antelope location
went in to buy a phone from there ANTELOPE "authorzied dealer" (4241 elverta road, antelope california):
picked an 85 dollar phone out.
mohammed went to the back and said they were out, grabbed another phone and said it was the next best according to my preferences, and charged me 200 bucks.
noticed he tossed my receipt away.
asked him for a reprint
the reprint only totals to 135 dollars.
have to go back and tell him give me recipts that add to 200$
re prints a fake receipt with no "re-print" that has the missing 60 dollars as a "support charge" so it wasnt my reciept. and hands it to me.
i go home to figure shit out, call metro support. main metro wont touch it.
they say you got scammed but that they basically dont give a crap.
went back into the store: met a traveling manager that was probably as bad as mohammed is.
dude was like "ya i have no clue what mohammed was doing" (you know damn well what he was doing lmao) they did some weird stuff, like opening a third line on my already active account that i didnt ask for.
the travelling "manager" pretends to reverse the fake charges, but after we left and got home, metro PCS committed wirefraud by revoking the payback and claiming that its because i was overdrawn... i payed completely in cash though, with receipts to prove it.
metro pcs has become such an unregulated shtshow that im really gonna switch after 19 years of metropcs service. how can you franchise a bunch of scammers?? right after a company wide investigation for this exact kind of behavior... not a good look.
i hope mohammed never scams the wrong dude, for his sake. not everyone will be as forgiving as we are. so far it seems hes picking elderly people to rob, probably smart because mohammed is built like a loaf of bread.
i have one call to make to the RDM and the its off to small claims court! if youre the manager of this building, and you wanna clear your name before we go all the way to the top, contact me. i have a feeling this manager is the final boss tho, so were suitin up regardless.

Well, let's start by order my first plan service ever with metrobytmobile.com website on
May 5, 2025 11:00 AM.
Order number:71133898938
Plan price paid$65$
My device was compatible, has a esim ,therefore ordered "bringmyownsim", paid $65 current price for the service, however all I received was a email with order number, a message" your device is now active", but Nothing else.
No instructions, No mobile number in which it should generate upon payment, or followup step to activate the service I had paid for
Same day May 5 I had called MetroPCS customer support phone to cancel the service I didn't received, but 1st agent hangup transfer my call to another department that didn't help at all, so I call a 2nd time spoke to another agent said he canceled my order and a refund should be within 5 business days.
7 days later as of May 13 I check my bank no refund at all.
So again I called customer support, this time successfully transfer me to a supervisor to cancel my order, but the usual she said it can't be cancel, only way to cancel is to ship me a package, open it fill out forms, send it back to qualify for an refund.
Again metro refused to cancel order and refund over the phone.
At first I accepted MetroPCS support advice, but my legal friend told me that I should decline
go directly for dispute over order cancellation and refund.
If Metro decline to refund, then it's best to take legal action over merchants False Advertisement.
Overall this is MOST horrifying terrible experience I had ever had with this mobile service company of fraud$ter.
For all of you people out there, do your research on trustpilot or bbb before proceed.

The unlock from hell
I am so seriously upset with Metro about T-Mobile after being a customer with them for 9 years. They do not let you know when you purchase a phone that you got to wait 365 days before your phone can be unlocked even though in the phone it says 180 days. I have fallen in a financial hardship due to having a total knee replacement surgery and have been out of work and not sure when I will be able to go back. Because of this a gracious family member has added my 2 lines to their account with a different carrier. Now though I have to find a different phone because they won't unlock the phone which is 202 days from the purchase date meaning I have to wait 163 more days for it to get unlocked. And also they communicated with me on chat and said that they made ticket numbers for the phones to be unlocked and that I would receive an email in 24 to 72 hours and it is now 5 days out and I still have not received an email. Unreal when I have to be in touch with my medical team. I've had it with my wits end with Metro T-Mobile and originally had planned to go back after getting back to work but I don't think I'm going to after them making it so hard to unlock a dang phone.
Poor Experience
I have been a Metro customer over 12 years and pay monthly via CC saved in their system. I have 5 lines. A phone was switched on one line for a $25 charge the rep said would be billed. Rather than simply use the existing card they have been charging for YEARS, they suspended service with no notice until I paid. The rep tried to rationalize it but couldn't really do it. Ridiculous! Their system and customer service are poor.

I’ve been with metro 5 yrs or more …. I’m so disappointed that how messed up a company could be ..,to send me a replacement used I phone that is locked….then I called metro itself & they pushed me away saying basically it’s not their fault it’s a 3rd party issue which is BS because I would not be in the situation had they handled they’re so correctly the first time I’m seriously gonna leave them after so many years and write reviews everywhere if they don’t fix it I’m losing money without my phone and no one can get it right.

metro is a great service only thing I dislike is the fact that I pay insurance for my phone but if it is lost or stolen or broken, I have to pay full price all over again for a new phone if that is the case there should be no need to pay insurance for it. I rather go with a company who does not make me pay full price all over again at least let me pay half.
Absolutely horrible
Absolutely horrible. I've been with Metro for years. I'm done. This is the worst I've ever experienced. 6,7,8 times a day I lose service. That's unheard of and I bought a new phone not even 2mos ago. For $75 a month I shouldn't have any trouble with my service. It's time to go back to AT&T. Boost mobile was better! I never had any problems before T-Mobile took over. I'ma give Boost Mobile a call. I honestly never had any issues with them, never should have left them. Metro PCS should be -5 stars
Not What It Used To Be
Before T-Mobile bought Metro PCS, the service was great. Now most of the time, I can't get internet service if I'm not at home unless there's free internet service. I shouldn't have to be connected to the Internet to Google something. This service is supposed to be 5-G. I see I have to move on from Metro T-Mobile.
I was with metropcs for 8 years
I was with metropcs for 8 years. I decided to change providers and asked for a refund since I had just paid my bill 2 days before the change. I was first told I would receive my refund within 3-5 days and now I don't qualify for one. Customer service is horrible both in the stores and on the phone. They try to sell you cheap phones for hundreds of dollars and the phones don't work right half of the time. I'm not saying this because of the refund problem but because of the service.
Paying for Metro and denied texting usage.
It's been over a week now that Metro has denied me access to my texting service. I'm paying for a service I'm unable to use. I guess I will have to go with a new phone company. Mint Moble offers cell phone service for only 15 dollars a month and they seem to be have a way better service then Metro. I'm going to switch my mom too. You are going to lose 2 customers if I don't get my texting service back in the next couple of days. You're workers with Metro are unable to fix this issue. I have been unable to properly do my job by not sending my boss the documents at the end of my shift through text. Metro is a mess! Very disappointed!
POOR CUSTOMER CARE - FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!
I have a next door neighbor that has been a MetroPCS customer FOR YEARS!!! She has been paying $40 per month nowadays, but when she started with Metro, she only paid $25 (long ago). She has recently used more of her allowed usage than usual and she went to the store near here. The customer service person refused to put her on the unlimited plan even though she is already paying the unlimited rate of $40. I WILL NEVER, EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE - WHAT A BUNCH OF CROOKS!!!!
SHAMEFUL customer service
My brother bought a new phone on 2-2-2025 and died on 2-3-2025. So I find out the phone is no good to anyone for 365 days because Metro by T Mobile locks the phone from being used by any other company. I have the phone, box, receipt and find out by calling the 800 number that I could have gotten a refund before 30 days. Thanks for nothing Metro by T Mobile employees and company. I was in the store 3 weeks after he purchased it and they said they can't refund it..

Worse customer service evecaer
Worse customer service ever. I went into store on Main St in Euless TX on 16th to perform an addition to add one phone number, and change an android to Iphone. Left paying for both those services plus the monthly bill due 17th. They inadvertently changed my due date to 3rd of month and said another full bill due then. I had this 17th due date for years and performed these same type services in the past and they never chgd due date. Got home, and I was locked out of my acct, had to return to store
immediately and that is when all this unfolded. This was a 2 and 1/2 half hr process. Told me I would have to pay another $40 to move due date back!! Despicable. Refused to help me and fix the acct. Guy at store handled everything, the entire process, via phone call with owner directing him. So he had no idea what he was doing. Talked to manager, and he still would not fix my account. So I just paid a one month bill, only to have to pay it again in two weeks. Do not go there.. they are awful. -10.
