Excellent Service and Proactive…
I recently raised concerns regarding the standard of ground maintenance on our development, and I wanted to highlight the excellent response I received from Jake Davies, Regional Manager at Meadfleet.
Jake was quick to respond, took the time to properly review the situation, and came back with a clear, practical plan to improve the area. His approach was proactive, solution-focused, and reassuring from the outset.
What stood out most was his willingness to take ownership of the issue and act on it without delay. The proposed improvements show a genuine commitment to maintaining a high standard and enhancing the overall appearance of the development.
It’s refreshing to deal with someone who communicates clearly and follows through with action.

Avoid this company at all cost
Avoid this company at all cost. They charge a ridiculous amount of money on top of the agreed fees under an “overhead” category which is not broken down so there is no transparency. They do not properly look after the estates they supposed to manage. They left thistle to grow taller than a grown man in Banbury and refused to do anything despite the complaints. It’s also practically impossible to get rid of them due to the contract terms. Do NOT use this company if you can avoid it.

Thank you for your review, although we are disappointed to know that you are unhappy with the service that you have received.
Whilst we understand your frustration, Meadfleet have been actively seeking to engage with the Developer, Bloor Homes to address the issue of this area.
To clarify, the soil used during the installation of the area by the developer is contaminated with thistle and ragwort seed; a stockpile of similarly contaminated soil still remains immediately adjacent to the affected area and is the responsibility of the developer; following the handover of the development to Meadfleet to maintain, and completion of works to remediate areas, the developer carried out additional groundworks, using heavy machinery without our knowledge or consultation. These areas were then not appropriately reinstated, leaving disturbed bare soil which has allowed aggressive weed colonisation to establish.
We have informed the developer that if this matter is not addressed fully, this will continue to reoccur across all affected areas and we have also informed them that we do not think it is appropriate for residents to bear the costs of rectifying this issue.
We have requested a dialogue with the developer on this matter and we are currently still awaiting a response.
Please be assured that we are working hard to try to address this problem and will continue to do so.

Great experience working with Meadfleet on a recent property transaction where they acted as the management company. Francina Boulter was the case handler who supported me throughout, and she was consistently responsive, attentive, and professional.

Brilliant Customer Service
I contacted Meadfleet regarding some invoices and a potential overpayment on my account. Mandy immediately took ownership of the issue, gathered all the relevant details, and provided a clear, detailed breakdown of the balance and payments made.
It turned out I was in credit, and Mandy promptly arranged for a refund cheque without any haggling or pushback.

Biodiversity presentation
Paul Cassidy and some of his colleagues came to present to the Royston Wildlife Group about biodiversity. Paul had already led a walk on nearby Therfield Heath and had impressed everybody with his knowledge and enthusiasm about wildlife. His presentation was equally as interesting and informative and thus well received. It was encouraging to see how a commercial company can be ethical and dedicated to bodiversity. I would highly recommend Paul and Meadfleet to present at any wildlife meeting.
