Recently wished to change my payments to monthly contacted the company asking if this would be more expensive, Mandy from customer accounts dealt with my enquiry who I found to be extremely helpful , professional and polite and sorted the matter out expeditiously explaining to keep abreast of invoices to ensure my standing order was keeping track or alternatively to touch base periodically for the accounts to check for me

Lies and inflating costs to bill homeowners
DONT BUY A NEW BUILD
Meadfleet have sent a bill of almost £90, they've cut a 2 small sections of grass on the entrance and laid some mulch down, not been back to sort the weeds, grass growing through curbs, paths and drains, and all the grass verges outside houses, neighbours have done this, and they have only been twice to the site £90.
They've had overhead charges included in the bill which is wild, what overheads are being incurred, there are no offices or assets/hardware specifically related to our site, you have set offices that deal with all sites, so how are how are you legally charging every house in every site you manage around £50.
What they are doing is illegal and I'm sure they aren't the only Management firm.
We are at Bolsover Promise built by Strata, we wouldn't buy from them again, this just sealed that.
Everyone should join and follow HBF the home builders federation, they are taking on the government and local councils regarding unadopted land, added bills, the issue of rates/Council tax being paid in full when we pay management fees and the corruption of management companies that embilish their bills.
Email them through their website they will send you info and keep you in the loop, support where you can to go against these companies and our useless councils

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry to read that you are not happy with the service provided in accordance with the Deed of Covenant you signed when purchasing your property. As part of the Deed there is an explanation of our overhead and how it is calculated. As you may be aware, overhead amounts are something that are costed into all goods and services. For transparency, Meadfleet have committed to displaying our overheads separately in our invoice breakdowns. The costs incurred in managing your development form our overhead, for example staffing, equipment, travel and office costs.
Our team have been maintaining the development for some time now on a regular basis under the supervision of our Operations Manager. I believe our Customer Care team have provided some examples of their work to you. We keep a log of their visits and typically they will come to the development fortnightly. You are only charged in arrears for works completed.
There may be some areas of the development that are not included in the management scheme that have not been maintained recently, these will either be the responsibility of the local authority or are still in the hands of the developer. Naturally you are not being charged for the upkeep of those areas. We are happy to assist with any concerns you have on the areas that we are managing and I understand you are in communications with our customer care team who will assist you with this.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Evening seraching for Bats on our doorstep!
### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Evening – Highly Recommended
A fantastic Bat Walk around the Hamptons Country Park, organised by Paul Cassidy of Meadfleet.
Paul did an excellent job of bringing the evening to life with his knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for our local wildlife. The walk gave residents a wonderful opportunity to explore the Country Park after dark and learn more about the bats that live right on our doorstep. Using bat detectors, we were able to hear and identify the bats as they flew around us, which made the experience particularly exciting.
There was a great atmosphere among everyone who attended, with plenty of interest, questions and enthusiasm throughout the evening. It was a real reminder of what a valuable natural asset our Country Park is and the wildlife it supports.
A huge thank you to Paul for giving his time and organising such an enjoyable and informative event. Judging by the comments from those who attended, it was a great success and something we would very much like to see repeated.
**Five stars from the residents who attended — a genuinely memorable evening and a brilliant example of how our Country Park can bring the community together.**

Why have a breakdown of maintenance costs but not have a breakdown of overhead costs these are nearly double in money the bill we receive just increases every time we get one the estate is in a terrible state and just getting worse every year

Your development is a large development which we maintain on a regular basis, and having spoken to the Operations Manager, he is surprised with your comments. Our contractors work very hard to ensure that our areas are maintained to a good standard with grass cutting, litter picking, hedge work and also the maintenance of hardstanding on the development.
However, there are lots of areas with are under the remit of the Local Authority to maintain, and which are not maintained to a good standard, which we agree, lets down the look of the development. Unfortunately, we are not responsible for these areas, so you would need to reach out to the Local Authority to ask them to carry out the maintenance as they should.
With regards to the Overhead figure, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care Team, who will be more than happy to confirm to you the breakdown of this. They can be reached at Customercare@meadfleet.co.uk

1 star is probably too much for this company!
The area i live in looks awful and Meadfleet are suppose to look after the grounds, but due to hot weather there isn't much done yet this company is charging me more, I seem to be paying alot for the business side and probably there bonuses!
They hire other companies to do the work!
Let plants like thistles & ragwort get out of control.
Weeds growing in the pathway, oh and send leaflets out of pretty looking locations.
Don't be deceived by this scam of a business, they have put my bill up every six months when they want paying towards upkeep of the grounds!
Just a shame I can't attach photos.

Thank you for your review, although it is disappointing to note that you are unhappy with the maintenance of your development.
We want to take this opportunity to confirm that works are actively being carried out whilst we are unable to carry out the grass cutting in the hot dry weather. We are also aware that there is Ragwort in the area and it is something that our Operations Team have actively been dealing with. It is being removed on each visit with around 22 bulk bags removed over the last few visits alone. Our contractors have spent lots of time tacking the nuisance ragwort, thistle and dock, and the majority of Ragwort has been hand pulled where practical, with larger plants cut at the base. Our aim is not simply to remove what is visible on one visit, but to reduce the problem over time. Unfortunately, there is a significant amount of Ragwort on the soil stockpile on the neighbouring land, which also needs to be addressed and managed.
We do appreciate that residents like to see their development looking its best and we understand the frustration when it is not. However, the development is being maintained and there is a lot of hard work that is being carried out by both our contractors and Operations staff.
These works are an on going programme rather than something that can be removed quickly in one visit. We take residents concerns extremely seriously and our Team will continue to address all areas requiring attention

This company is a complete scam! They charge the world and get a 3rd party company to do hardly any work.

Unfortunately, we cannot locate your name on our system and therefore we don't actually know which development that you live on, so cannot be specific in our response to you.
However, Meadfleet are a management company that do employ the services of fully trained contractors to carry out works on our developments. Unfortunately, due to the very hot summer that we have had, the grassed areas are not looking their best, which is the same throughout the country. However, our contractors use their time to carry out other tasks on the developments whilst they are not cutting grass, which ensures that our customers do receive the service that we are contracted to provide.
If you would like to contact our Customer Care Team with some further information as to what your specific queries are, they will be more than happy to look into any concerns that you may have.

Best think for them it is get up and leave out housing estate. Personally think they're scam artists.

We have spoken to the Operations Manager for your development who was surprised at your comments, as there are lots of works on your large development that our contractors carry out, including works to the hedging and hardstanding included, and not just that of grass cutting.
He did point out that there are also lots of areas that are under the remit of the Local Authority to maintain, but which do not receive attention and which currently lets the look of the development down.
Mr Hobbs has confirmed that he will be contacting you direct so that he can discuss which areas you are unhappy with and that he would also be happy to meet with you to discuss any concerns that you may have with any of the areas that we maintain. However, we are unable to assist with any of the Local Authority areas.

Great service from Jake Davies
I reported a concern with some overgrown hedges.
The report was passed on to Jake Davies who immediately took ownership of the issue. Jake liaised between the contractor and myself at all stages - He advised a date when the contractor would attend. The day before he sent me a polite reminder that they would be attending and on completion of the work he contacted me again to ensure I was satisfied with the work.

I recently contacted Jake, who oversees the work carried out at Parc Jasmine by Meadfleet, with a suggestion about installing a bench on the public open space.
I was really impressed by how quickly Jake responded. He listened to my suggestion, took it seriously, looked into it and, most importantly, actually made it happen! I’ve now been told that approval has been given for a new bench to be installed within the next few weeks.
It’s fantastic news for me, but even more so for the wider community on the estate. It’s great to see a suggestion from a resident being listened to and acted upon.

I recently worked with Meadfleet Ltd while representing one of their tenants in a property sale, and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service provided.
Communication was excellent throughout the transaction, and the team was always easy to deal with. They helped us progress the sale swiftly by providing clear, accurate, and comprehensive information from the outset. The information supplied was so well prepared that it rarely generated additional queries from the solicitors, which helped avoid unnecessary delays and kept the transaction moving smoothly.
