My elderly parents have recently moved into Earls Grange, they’ve been there for approximately five weeks now, it’s such a pleasant environment and so far they’ve been very happy.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and a particular shoutout goes to Sue, the house manager who goes above and beyond, always so helpful and so supportive, nothing is too much trouble, so thank you Sue, even though you haven’t been in the role for very long, you’ve made a huge difference

Flora Grange is the best…
Flora Grange in Sheffield was the best place / location we visited for my mum to move to. Mum rented an apartment at Flora Grange then a property came up for sale and mum has been living in her home for the last 12 months. It’s a beautiful place to live.
Liz the manager is wonderful, mum and my whole family love her. She is so kind, caring, knowledgable, discreet & intuitive. She keeps everything in order, her role literally covers all eventualities and nothing is too much trouble.
Mum often reports how fab Liz is, which is so comforting as a relative.

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with…
The worst company I’ve ever dealt with . My 92 year old mom’s apartment became uninhabitable back in April due to leaking roof . Still no repairs in sight and her health is deteriorating, very unhappy and confused . Have 2 stage 2 complaints upheld against them but still they are doing absolutely nothing .

Burrstone Grange
I've lived at Burrstone Grange for 2.1/2 yrs. It was the best move that I made. I moved to Thornton Cleveleys to be near my son and grandchildren. I have made so many friends here, and Sam the site manager is absolutely brilliant. She organizes so many events for us to take part in, or not whatever you want to do. I would certainly recommend it to anyone. Well done.

I cannot speak highly enough of Lyle Court and the wonderful team who work here. The staff are exceptional — always kind, caring, professional, patient and genuinely willing to help. There is such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and you can really feel that the residents are treated with respect and genuine care.
I would especially like to mention Katrina, the manager. She is truly one of the most incredible people I have ever met. Her kindness, compassion, professionalism and dedication are exceptional. She has a remarkable way of making everyone feel supported, valued and cared for, and nothing ever seems too much trouble for her.
Katrina is, in my opinion, the heart of Lyle Court. It is her personality, dedication and the way she leads and supports everyone around her that make this place so special. She goes above and beyond every single day, and it is very clear how much she genuinely cares about the residents, their families and the people around them.
Lyle Court is a wonderful place with an amazing team, but Katrina is what makes it truly exceptional. She deserves enormous recognition for everything she does.

U have lived at Wisteria Place over 5 years moving in the week it was opened. Kelly Jefford our hose manager has been here the whole time, during the his time Kelly has been a true ambassador for McCarthy&Stone. Kelly has been an ear to listen a shoulder to cry on and has helped me during difficult times. Kelly is now leaving us for a new position in McCarthy&Sone. Amelia Court. Gordon Kibbles. I moved into Amelia Court 16 months ago. I felt the time was right that I have gained enough knowledge how things work to write an accurate review. The reason for looking into assisting living was after my daughter said I was getting to old (90) to be climbing ladders / gardening / DIY etc, it was time to move into a more safe environment with other people as I was living on my own. After a lot of thought I decided my daughter was right so started looking at all various assisted living accommodation in Worthing area with my daughter, after a number of weeks visiting the various sites in the area I decided on AMELIA COURT as the best location. On my second visit we looked at a number of one bed and two bed apartments, as soon as I walked into a two bed the layout felt like a mini version of my bungalow and decide to purchase and move. During this visit we meet with some of the residence in the lounge who were very friendly, "Thank You" made us a cup of coffee / biscuits and we chatted for half hour which made myself / daughter very much at home and I was making the right decision. From the day I moved into Amelia Court the residence have made me feel welcome and were more than willing with helpful advice if required, all the staff are so friendly and helpful you could not wish for anything more. Amelia Court Plus has a restaurant and various activities take place in the afternoons / early evening, it's situated in the centre of Worthing so their is no need for a car as their is plenty of buses that go all over Sussex and beyond, train station is a 15 minute walk also their are two supermarkets / shops / sea front promenade within walking distance plus a cinema / theatre opposite Amelia. It does take a little time to settle down especially if you are a stranger to the area but it's worth it to have your own living space along with other people who become your friends and neighbours with most requirements on your door step. Do we have minor problems at Amelia off course we do, fortunately we have a wonderful site manager called Aimie and staff who do their vest best to resolve any problems within their remit of duties, so far my only concerns if their is a problem that needs to be resolved by McCarthy & Stone it can take weeks and months which is very disappointing. But so far no regrets moving into my apartment with my friendly new neighbours and staff. August 2026.
P.S. Advice only:- When buying a McCarthy & Stone resale flat or apartment plus. It's important that you instruct experience conveyancing solicitor for assisting living lease agreements / contracts, also checked by solicitor with the seller / owner that the following are all in good working order with no problems, ie. kitchen appliances / electrics / boiler has been serviced / plumbing / hall & room radiators. Once you have signed agreement everything inside the front door becomes your responsibility NOT McCathy & Stone also you fully understand the agreement / contract before signing,

Conachar Court is a friendly and inclusive community in a secure, well-maintained and pleasing environment situated on the River Tay, with views across the river to the ancient city of Perth. Don't even think about buying
Don't even think about buying, you will never get back what you paid. Monthly fees have to be paid even after death, by who ever is left the property.
As for the service received please don't start me on that one.
This all after purchase April 2024. You do not get what you are paying for.

Property values and resale timescales are influenced by a range of factors, including local market conditions, buyer demand, location and property type. As with the wider housing market, some properties increase in value over time whilst others may not.
We are also disappointed to read your comments regarding the service you have received. At Lyle Court in Edinburgh I have found the staff to be warm, welcoming and professional. The property is held in very good maintenance and all the home owners have been wonderfully welcoming to my Mum. She’s settled in quickly, enjoying all the various activities and making friends.
The restaurant is a real bonus - not just for a good meal but also the social side.
Although my Mum didn’t need it yet, it’s reassuring to know that the additional care will be there when she needs it.
So far, so good! (3 months in).

Guest Suite at The Oaks
My mother visited the Guest Suite at The Oaks, Alsager. The Oaks is really lovely and so close to the town centre. The House Manager Michelle was lovely and really helpful. Mum would highly recommend.
