Really poor steak
I'm surprised it got here at all with the use of DPD. The packaging wasn't sealed properly, and it was leaking all over the place. But that was all nothing compared to the poor quality the meat. It's a shame I can't include a photo of the fillet steak. It's is full of thick sinew and fat. As far from a fillet as you can possibly get. I would not give this to my dog, let alone eat it myself.
No self-respecting butcher would even contemplate letting this be sent to a customer. It's not even an off-cut - it's just a plainly horrible piece of meat. The rest is the same. What a waste of money.

Great quality meat supplied at incredible prices, ordering was easy and delivery bang on time, highly recommended for other customers and’s so will be buying from them in future as this one order will feed my family for much less than it would have cost in the shops and the food supplied is better

I ordered £200 of meat 6 weeks ago
I ordered £200 of meat 6 weeks ago, this was my second order. Unfortunately DPD delivered to the wrong address on a very hot day left on a doorstep somewhere.
I rang DPD to find where the 2 parcels and they didn’t know! Got in touch with Malpas eventually on the Monday (closed) weekends was told they would contact DPD. The order was tracked and they messaged to say what time it was due, apparently it was sent out with only a partial address. I have been told that neither DPD or Malpas will accept responsibility so I have lost £200!

We’re genuinely sorry that you lost your order, as we fully appreciate how disappointing and frustrating that must have been.
However, your review contains a number of factual inaccuracies which we feel it is important to correct for the benefit of anyone reading it.
When an order is placed, customers enter their own delivery address during checkout. We then transmit those details to DPD exactly as they have been provided. We do not amend or alter delivery addresses. Our investigation confirmed that DPD attempted delivery using the address submitted with your order. No error was made by either Malpas Farm Shop or DPD in the address information used.
Every customer receives an order confirmation and our “How We Process Your Order” email, both of which ask customers to carefully check their delivery details before dispatch. This is because, once a parcel containing fresh, perishable goods enters the courier network, amending an address is extremely difficult and, in most cases, impossible.
It is important to distinguish between a parcel being delivered to the wrong address because of an error by a retailer or courier, and one being delivered to the address provided by the customer during checkout. Following our investigation, this was the latter.
Your parcel was tracked throughout its journey and marked as delivered on the Saturday. Had you contacted us at that point, when the tracking showed the parcel had been delivered somewhere you did not recognise, we would have immediately contacted DPD to try to recover the parcel or otherwise assist. Unfortunately, when we investigated this matter with you, it was established that your contact with us on the Tuesday was the first time you had notified us of any delivery issue. By then, the opportunity to intervene had passed.
Your review also states that we were closed over the weekend. That is not correct. Our online customer support and our retail store was operating throughout. We nevertheless asked whether there had been any earlier attempts to contact us so that we could investigate them fully. After reviewing our telephone records, voicemail system and email records, we were unable to identify any earlier contact.
We are always prepared to accept responsibility where we have made a mistake and will do everything reasonably possible to put matters right. Equally, we have a responsibility to respond honestly where the evidence shows that neither we nor our courier were responsible. We are sincerely sorry that you lost your order, but after reviewing the checkout information, our own records and DPD’s findings, we remain satisfied that the parcel was delivered using the address submitted at checkout and that we were not made aware of any problem until several days later, when any realistic opportunity to recover the parcel had unfortunately passed.

1best quality meat as it used to be
This is the third time I've ordered since I found malpas farm shop. Their steaks are to die for,and delivery is first class with DPD. Orders are vacuum packed and with ice packs still frozen. All meat is first class without any of that chemical stuff you get in supermarket pre packed meat. Would recommend them to anyone who likes quality meat, in fact I have got 3 people buying from them now.

Bargain Bundle
Recently we purchased a Sirloin & fillet steak bundle along with 3Kg of chicken breasts.
Fantastic value for money! So far, we have only eaten the Sirloin steak, the meat was tender and the flavour was very good.
The only issue we had was with the delivery date. I booked a date for when I knew I was going to be off work but the date we chose was disregarded and the meat was delivered days early this caused me a problem, however the meat came well packaged. We would highly recommend Malpas farm shop. Continue the great service but please deliver on the customers selected date.
