I bought a stable doors style back door…
I bought a stable doors style back door via MKM builders merchants. Within 6 months of it being fitted by a Carpenter with 40 years in the trade, I could see through the side of the window which was factory fitted. LPD doors have basicly said tough.

Terrible quality. External door cracked within a week.
My external door developed cracks straight after it was fitted, despite having been treated beforehand. After a lot of effort on my behalf it was eventually replaced. Of course I had to pay for the second fit as well. Customer service is non-existent

Great choice of doors
These solid doors look as advertised in the brochure. Well made and great neutral colour (light grey) for any colour scheme. Teamed them with Sirus duel finish handles. Delighted with my purchase.
The only downside side was the way they were delivered. No fault on the delivery drivers part.
Delivered on a curtain side truck without any way of unloading safely. The driver had to jump up and down and physically try to manoeuvre these solid doors one by one onto the ground. Only due his due diligence none of the doors were damaged it could easily have been a different story for the driver and the doors.
Perhaps a scissor-lift or similar piece of equipment would ensure the delivery drivers safety in future.
