Wojtek and Mat were excellent
Wojtek and Mat were excellent, arriving very punctually and getting straight to work. They worked with an awkwardly shaped flat in a converted building and handled everything with care.
Both very polite and friendly, excellent service would one hundred percent recommend LMV 😊

Beware vans that are not big enough for a house move!
We booked a move through a company called Peterborough Removals but the receipt was from London Man Van. We booked the largest van on their website and paid £1,136. The van was not large enough for our possessions which are not excessive by any means. At least 1/4 of our belongings were left in our garage! The company offered us 15% off a 2nd van hire to complete the job! So stressful & we have had to hire a self drive van to go back, over 100 miles, to collect the rest. What a disaster.

Dear Julie,
Thank you for sharing your recent experience, although we're genuinely disheartened to learn about the challenges you encountered during your move.
As LMV Transport LTD, with branches in both London and Peterborough, we strive to ensure seamless transitions for our customers. We understand the confusion regarding the booking name versus the receipt, but please know that you received the Luton van as requested.
Upon reviewing the details of your move, it's evident that the volume of your belongings surpassed the capacity of a single van. For such moves, we typically advise booking two vans, especially considering the significant distance of 115 miles to your new location.
We provide tools on our website to help estimate the appropriate van size and offer phone support for clients unsure of their needs. It's crucial for clients to select the correct van size or number required, as outlined in our terms and conditions.
We empathize with the added stress and costs you faced due to this situation. Our offer of assistance with relocating the remaining items at a discounted rate of 15% aimed to alleviate some of the burden, but we understand your concerns regarding the additional cost.
While moving expenses can be daunting, proper planning, including accurately assessing transportation needs, can significantly mitigate stress.
We assure you that we conducted our service with professionalism and commitment. However, we acknowledge your dissatisfaction and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
If you wish to discuss this matter further or have any additional concerns, please feel free to reach out to us directly.
Warm regards,
LMV Transport LTD

Parking fine deposit not returned
I used LMV’s services in July when I was moving out of my flat in London. I was satisfied with the service on the day. However, I had paid an upfront parking fine deposit because I lived on a main road, and since then my multiple attempts to get my deposit back have been ignored (I have received no indication, let alone evidence, that they were fined). I have called LMV numerous times and on all but one occasion nobody has picked up the phone. On Monday someone eventually did answer but told me they could only pass on a message as this wasn’t their remit. I explained the problem and passed on my contact information but had to ask to leave my order number so that my case could be identified, which didn’t give me much faith that I was being taken seriously. As expected, nobody has come back to me. I have also emailed countless times; not a single one of my emails has been responded too. Out of desperation I contacted the driver who undertook my move (who was a very nice, professional man), and he kindly responded to reassure me that he was sure I’d get my money back; however, that was on 6th October and I’ve still not received any form of response to my enquiries. At this point, four months on from my move, I can only assume I am being intentionally ignored in the hope that I will go away and LMV can keep hold of my money - I am not willing to let that happen.
Update 30/11/23 - after sending many emails and ringing multiple times, I have now received my refund for the parking fine deposit. It’s a shame because the service was really good on the day, but the amount of time and effort taken to get it back marred my experience.

Dear Alison,
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced in obtaining your refund for the parking fine deposit. We understand how frustrating it can be to navigate through multiple emails and calls to resolve an issue.
While we're delighted to hear that you found our service commendable on the day, we acknowledge that the delay in processing your refund has tainted your overall experience. Please know that your feedback is invaluable to us, and we're taking steps internally to improve our refund process to ensure such delays are minimized in the future.
We appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this process. Should you have any further concerns or if there's anything else we can assist you with, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
Warm regards,

Everything went smoothly
Easy booking! Fast, efficient and polite movers. Used this company for the first time on the 2023-10-24 for our office move in Central London.
Movers were running a bit late (30 mins) but they gave a ring in the morning and politely explained the situation. No drama!
I recommend their services and will use them again - 5 stars service.

Quick and professional movers
Wojtek and his colleague were quick, efficient and professional. Packing up my 2 bedroom flat into their Luton van and then unloading it all into the desired rooms. Minor scuffs on bigger items and one small damage to a table leg but overall very happy with the move. Whole move took about 5 hours to travel 45mins drive away. Would recommend them.

An incredible job at an incredible price
We moved from London to Leeds a few days ago. We found London Man Van online and the reviews looked good; so we booked. The day before our move we realised we had booked only one man and a van and, seeing all we had packed, thought we should have booked two men. Despite it being a Bank Holiday we got an instant response to our WhatsApp message saying that our booking had been amended. In the morning two men and the van arrived.
The team was led by Wojtek and the two of them loaded the van in just 30 minutes. They drove to Leeds and arrived in very good time. They unloaded in 45 minutes, without any fuss or damage. They could not have worked harder or more efficiently.
I had received a quote at three times the price from a leading removal firm; LMV did an amazing job for us at a very reasonable cost and the service could not have been better.
Thankyou, Wojtek and your colleague.
