what didn't go wrong
what didn't go wrong ? first did my m o t was suppose to just be my number plate blub and handbrake in sufficient But wasn't that bad took car in morning 11:ooam i rang to see if done at 14:45 no it was going be stared next and was told would be ready for 16:00 i explained i'd got a hour walk ahead ,so when i got there only to be told they said brakes were up to standard and so still no MOT and then the list was changing from what was written and the fact they leave it till the hour or later to inform you , i've been without my car since Thursday lot two days work because of this and suppose to be ready for this Monday ... lets seen and the costing is now a lot lot more then first given . I shall never use this garage again Ms Gregory

First and foremost, we would like to sincerely apologise for the lack of communication throughout your visit. You're absolutely right, you should have kept you properly informed at every stage of the process, and we accept that this did not happen to the standard you should expect from us. We understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly given the delays and the disruption this caused.
Regarding the number plate light, what was initially believed to be a simple bulb replacement was later identified as a wiring issue once the vehicle was inspected more thoroughly. This, along with further checks carried out on the vehicle, meant that the work required changed from the original expectation. However, we fully acknowledge that these developments were not communicated to you clearly or in a timely manner, which added to your frustration.
We can confirm that your vehicle has now been fully completed, MOT tested, and returned to you. We are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience caused and for not keeping you updated as we should have done.
Your feedback has been taken on board and will be used to improve our communication and customer updates going forward.

Very friendly, courteous and informative staff! Did a great service on the car at fairly short notice. I waited around whilst they finished off repairs for the MOT, they made me coffee and gave me a few chuckles to pass the time. Would use again!

Unfortunately was massively over quoted…
Unfortunately was massively over quoted with lindleys. Needed multiple things doing but for example I was quoted a new 12v battery at £400!!! The battery that is required on my car is £60 from reputable brands such as Yuasa. Be careful and get a second opinion if you feel like something isn’t right.
