Tout d'abord, nos remerciements à Hanane de l'accueil de la base, à Claire pour son briefing technique et son accompagnement sur le bateau choisi, et un clin d'oeil à Vanessa pour le choix de la vaisselle à bord qui a charmé notre famille.
Nous avons laissé un petit "pense bête" de petits travaux à réaliser dans le bateau que nous avions pour cette croisière, pour que chacun puisse rendre encore meilleure la croisière suivante.
Quelques bémols cependant : la météo fut exceptionnelle et il nous manquait un parasol pour ombrager réellement 5 personnes + l'état des vélos plutôt vieillissants, sans panier ni support pour une gourde.
Il manque toutefois une table à l'extérieur, qui n'est même pas proposé en option.
Enfin la literie du bateau était réellement perfectible car peu confortable.
Il faut également souligné que nous avons passé une superbe semaine à bord d'un bateau avec un réel rapport qualité prix : bien équipé côté cuisine, assez spacieux et avec un espace pour chacun. L'extérieur permet également de partager de bons moments ensemble proche du poste de pilotage extérieur.
On a visité d'autres bateaux pour une prochaine croisière, c'est sur vous avez réussi à nous conquérir ;-)

Le service technique était bien.
Le bateau était assez propre à l'intérieur, mais les fenêtres, la porte et l'extérieur étaient très malpropres.
La carte de navigation que l'on nous a remise ne montrait pas la fermeture d'une écluse, ce qui nous a causé un détour important. Les conséquences ont été significatives: nous n'avons pas pu visiter 2 villes sur notre itinéraire; nous avons perdu une journée, car nous avons dû naviguer sur un grand canal désagréable pour faire le détour, puis on nous a chargé des heures moteurs supplémentaires de ce détour.
Le bateau Sheba était bruyant et il y a eu infiltration d'eau par la porte.

Liberty boat on the Yonne river
We recently rented the new Liberty boat from Le Boat, and the experience exceeded expectations. The boat itself was fantastic modern, comfortable, and very well designed for a relaxed cruise.
The team at the Migennes base were equally impressive. Friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, they made the whole process smooth from the start. Nothing felt rushed, and they took the time to ensure we were confident before setting off.
Overall, it was exactly the kind of calm, enjoyable experience you hope for on the Yonne easy cruising, great support, and a boat that really delivers.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end avec Le Boat. L’expérience a été très agréable du début à la fin : le bateau était confortable, facile à prendre en main et parfaitement adapté pour une escapade à deux.
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme, la liberté de navigation et le fait de pouvoir profiter pleinement des paysages à notre rythme. C’est une vraie parenthèse hors du temps.

Abbiamo noleggiato una houseboat con la società Le Boat con sede a Le Gran Bassin Quai di Canelot 1149 Castelnaudary Francia ,Canal du Midi, dal 2 al 6 aprile 2026. Purtroppo, l’esperienza è stata ben al di sotto delle aspettative e, per diversi aspetti, inaccettabile.
Alla consegna, la barca risultava solo superficialmente pulita. I finestrini interni né salone erano rotti e impossibili da chiudere, il frigorifero non funzionava e l’esterno presentava evidenti segni di incuria e danni non riparati. Condizioni decisamente non all’altezza di un servizio a pagamento.
Abbiamo inoltre noleggiato le biciclette per tutti e cinque i giorni. Proprio l’ultimo giorno, la sera del 5 aprile, alle ore 1800 una delle biciclette risultava bucata, rendendola inutilizzabile. Ci siamo rivolti all’unica responsabile presente a Castelnaudary, che in un secondo tempo abbiamo scoperto che era una manager. Nonostante il problema fosse immediato e concreto, si è rifiutata di sostituire la bici, sostenendo che si sarebbe potuto fare solo la mattina successiva — ignorando completamente il fatto che il giorno dopo avremmo dovuto riconsegnare la barca e che la bicicletta ci serviva quella sera.
L’aspetto più grave è stato però l’atteggiamento: scortese, aggressivo e totalmente privo di disponibilità. Siamo stati liquidati con la giustificazione che “non era di sua competenza”, una risposta semplicemente inaccettabile per chi ricopre un ruolo di responsabilità.Tra problemi tecnici evidenti, manutenzione carente e un servizio clienti inesistente, l’esperienza è stata decisamente negativa. Non lo consigliamo.

Broken Boat, No Heat, Nowhere to Go
Casually informed us that locks and bridges may be closed. Every single one was closed, and we were provided no information or source on when they may open. And for much more concerning matters, the boat was broken. There was a blown fuse- no way to charge batteries, no heat (which was most concerning, as it was about 3 degrees Celsius outside) and no way to monitor these concerns. And, the shaft seal wasn't properly adjusted, and our boat was continuously taking on water, and further draining electricity as the bilge pump was constantly operating. We cut our trip early, even after some workers came to repair the boat, due to exhaustion, coldness, and having nowhere to go whatsoever. When these concerns were brought up LeBoat, they claimed they did all they could and refused a refund, while diminishing our experience to "inexperience with boats" and "discomfort." Terrible trip.
