Abbiamo noleggiato una houseboat con la società Le Boat con sede a Le Gran Bassin Quai di Canelot 1149 Castelnaudary Francia ,Canal du Midi, dal 2 al 6 aprile 2026. Purtroppo, l’esperienza è stata ben al di sotto delle aspettative e, per diversi aspetti, inaccettabile.
Alla consegna, la barca risultava solo superficialmente pulita. I finestrini interni né salone erano rotti e impossibili da chiudere, il frigorifero non funzionava e l’esterno presentava evidenti segni di incuria e danni non riparati. Condizioni decisamente non all’altezza di un servizio a pagamento.
Abbiamo inoltre noleggiato le biciclette per tutti e cinque i giorni. Proprio l’ultimo giorno, la sera del 5 aprile, alle ore 1800 una delle biciclette risultava bucata, rendendola inutilizzabile. Ci siamo rivolti all’unica responsabile presente a Castelnaudary, che in un secondo tempo abbiamo scoperto che era una manager. Nonostante il problema fosse immediato e concreto, si è rifiutata di sostituire la bici, sostenendo che si sarebbe potuto fare solo la mattina successiva — ignorando completamente il fatto che il giorno dopo avremmo dovuto riconsegnare la barca e che la bicicletta ci serviva quella sera.
L’aspetto più grave è stato però l’atteggiamento: scortese, aggressivo e totalmente privo di disponibilità. Siamo stati liquidati con la giustificazione che “non era di sua competenza”, una risposta semplicemente inaccettabile per chi ricopre un ruolo di responsabilità.Tra problemi tecnici evidenti, manutenzione carente e un servizio clienti inesistente, l’esperienza è stata decisamente negativa. Non lo consigliamo.

Broken Boat, No Heat, Nowhere to Go
Casually informed us that locks and bridges may be closed. Every single one was closed, and we were provided no information or source on when they may open. And for much more concerning matters, the boat was broken. There was a blown fuse- no way to charge batteries, no heat (which was most concerning, as it was about 3 degrees Celsius outside) and no way to monitor these concerns. And, the shaft seal wasn't properly adjusted, and our boat was continuously taking on water, and further draining electricity as the bilge pump was constantly operating. We cut our trip early, even after some workers came to repair the boat, due to exhaustion, coldness, and having nowhere to go whatsoever. When these concerns were brought up LeBoat, they claimed they did all they could and refused a refund, while diminishing our experience to "inexperience with boats" and "discomfort." Terrible trip.

Es war wie immer ein super Urlaub. Die Gegend ist traumhaft und der Hausbooturlaub ist einfach entspannend und ich kann richtig abschalten.
Es war alles super organisiert und das Boot hatte genügend Komfort und war bei Übergabe sehr sauber.

We had the best time
We had the best time. The well equipped and easy to use boat gave us the opportunity to explore and enjoy the amazing Canal du Midi and the lovely places to be found along its course. The countryside is beautiful and the towns interesting to visit. The food and wine, and hospitality was a highlight. And it was sunny throughout. An enjoyable week all round. Thank you.

Ein unvergesslicher Urlaub
Wir haben bei Le Boat die „Liberty“ für drei Nächte auf den Mecklenburger Seenplatten gemietet und sind einfach nur überwältigt.
Die Einweisung durch Herrn Dirk Zimmermann war hervorragend. Er hat uns das Boot in aller Ruhe gezeigt und alles verständlich erklärt. Anschließend ist er sogar mit uns hinausgefahren und hat uns auch dort Schritt für Schritt alles demonstriert. Dank dieser professionellen und entspannten Einführung konnten wir mit voller Vorfreude und einem sicheren Gefühl in unser Abenteuer starten.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch seine außergewöhnliche Betreuung während unseres Aufenthalts. Herr Zimmermann war jederzeit telefonisch für uns erreichbar und hat uns sogar jeden Abend angerufen, um sich nach unserem Wohlbefinden zu erkundigen. Das fanden wir wirklich großartig und sehr aufmerksam.
Die „Liberty“ ist ein absolutes Luxusboot und perfekt ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Der gesamte Urlaub war unglaublich schön und hat unsere Erwartungen sogar übertroffen. Dieser Urlaub wird für uns definitiv unvergesslich bleiben.
Le Boat können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wir sind begeistert und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Très bon moment passé sur le canal du…
Très bon moment passé sur le canal du midi à bord d'un bateau Le Boat. Malgréa taille de 12 mètres de long, l'équipe a su nous expliquer son maniement sans problème. Ce canal est exceptionnel. Je souhaite à tous le monde de pouvoir le découvrir.
L'équipe a été très accueillante et sérieuse.

Wunderbare Erfahrung
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche auf dem Hausboot, mitten in der Natur mit den schönsten Sonnenaufgängen und dem Luxus einer gemütlichen Wohnung auf dem Wasser. Die Mitarbeiter haben super für eine sorgenlose Zeit gesorgt und uns toll begleitet. Insbesondere Dirk und Marko waren immer hilfsbereit und ansprechbar. Wir hatten einige technische Probleme, aber auch einen schnellen technischen Support. Nur die Terminabsprache mit Kai war schwierig. Eine bessere Absprache hätte uns ermöglicht diesen Urlaubstag zu nutzen statt ihn im Hafen zu verbringen. Am Ende wurden wir aber mit einer späteren Abgabe und Preisnachlass entschädigt. Wir freuen uns auf ein nächstes Mal.

Best boating trip
We did the Flanders area and had the best time. Driving the boat was simple enough and going through bridges and locks was a fun experience. The team at Le Boat was so helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone and can’t wait to do it again!
