We are really happy with the quality of our new herringbone flooring; it looks and feels like a top-tier product. A huge thanks to Ian, who was fantastic and very professional when he came out to price everything up for us.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to a bit of budget shock. Once the original floor was lifted, as we were due to have the herringbone fitted on 30/04, the fitter, Andy, discovered that our subfloor was incredibly uneven. We had to have all the rooms screened, which added an unexpected £1,200.00 to the original quote.

​While we understand that these issues are hard to determine until the old flooring is up, it was a tough pill to swallow! However, Andy has been absolutely amazing throughout the process. He’s been incredibly reassuring, making sure we know the job is being done properly and to a high standard, which has really put our minds at ease.

​We are now booked in for the final fitting on May 11th and honestly can't wait to see the finished result. Overall, great quality and a great team—just be prepared for potential subfloor prep!

From start to finish everything was amazing! The service was incredible very fast turn around we had to wait as we were going away but nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be using lazy carpets again for my flooring needs! ☺️ 10/10 would recommend!

I recently ordered carpets from Lazy Carpets and initially everything went smoothly. The salesperson was excellent, and the fitters who attended were professional and helpful.

Unfortunately, when the fitters arrived to install the carpet, it turned out the carpet supplied was too short, meaning the installation had to be stopped and a replacement reordered.

What disappointed me most was the response from the office. The person I spoke with came across as though they simply didn’t care, which really let the overall experience down.

That said, once the replacement carpet arrived and was fitted, I was very pleased with the final result and the quality of the product.

Would I use them again? Yes, I would.

I was given a fitting date for my flooring which should have been 27/03/26 but was told that the flooring that I chose was out of stock despite the lady that came out to measure my floor telling me that the floor was in stock. I was given a new fitting date which I was told would be the middle of April but this did not happen and I had to ring the store only to find out that the fitting date would now be May, no one from lazy carpets contacted me to make me aware of this and I only found out because I rang them to find out what was going on. I then said that I wanted to cancel my order and go with another supplier as I was not happy with the service, someone then called me from lazy carpets to finally give me an exact fitting date. I am however very happy with the quality of flooring that I chose and the floor fitter was on time and very polite and did a good job.

I ordered vinyl, and they turned up too fit it, when they had finished I went up too habe a look, it was wrong flooring, the fitters understood and rang office up to let them know, anyway the receptionists kept in touch and it all was sorted within that day, mew flooring arrived and fitted, was glad it was all sorted within a week, flooring is lovely, thanks to lazy carpets 👍

I did have to keep ringing the office for updates to eventually book my fitting as it did take quite a while for my stair runner to be made and I wasn’t provided with any updates.
My initial consultation was on 25/3/26 and I received confirmation of payment on the 26/3/26 but was only able to book fitting for 27/4/26 after being told it would take approx 2 weeks.
The fitters were pleasant but unfortunately did break a door handle, scuff a few walls and left it really quite messy with bags of cuts and scraps everywhere. I was told to leave it 48 hours before vacuuming which I did. After doing so the carpet looks great but I have had to took in a few snags that have been missed and attach a stair gripper that was just placed to look as if it was attached.
The price wasn’t matched by previous quote like they say but I preferred the carpet details this company offered so booked anyway.
Overall, not blown away by service but it was ok and I’m happy with the carpet I chosen.

From picking the carpet to fitting was just less than a week. The call staff were friendly and professional, the measuring team professional and knowledgeable and the carpet fitter, quick professional and clean. An excellent experience all round.

Being a single woman it’s hard too find someone you trust too come into your home and do a good job but since using lazy carpets I genuinely won’t go anywhere else for flooring from start too finish amazing service free estimate from the lovely Steph which a request everytime then flooring down done and dusted exactly when they say there coming no hidden payments no messing very trustworthy Lee is my floor fitter and the company are more than happy too send him everytime Thankyou for everything 2 rooms done 4 more to go 🙏✨

I always use Lazy Carpets. From the salesperson, fitter to after sales, you are well looked after.
The salesperson knows her products and there is no pushing a sale onto you. I chose my Carpets and they were fitted a week later.
The fitters turned up on time. Very efficient and quick, left the offcuts tidy in a bag, looks great what they gave fitted.
I highly recommend Lazy Carpets.

Ian Jackson was very helpful and wasn’t pushy at all. Really pleasant experience all round and reasonable priced.

From start to finish was a great experience, we asked them to measure and fit asap which they did ,the lady who measured was really friendly, gave us all the information we needed and the carpet fitters were great too.

Had ian and danny out today to quote me on carpets for my living room and hall. Absolutely fantastic service, super friendly. Good quality carpets and prices. Highly recommend

Just ordered living room, stairs and landing carpets. Ian was great very relaxed and gave good advice. All sorted within 45mins. Will update once the carpets have been fitted.

I used Lazy Carpets as I liked that they were quick to respond to the initial inquiry. The sales rep arrived with a selection of carpet to choose and measured up. I was given the quote there and then. It wasn't the cheapest but I liked the customer service.

That's where it ended.

After waiting the 2 week lead time for the carpets to be delivered they arrived.

The fitters started in the living room and were great. Fast and efficient. When they came to lay the hallway carpet, it was clear that the carpet they had brought was going to be too small.

I called the rep, Kevin, advised that he didn't make mistakes when I told him the carpet didn't fit. He spoke briefly to the fitters on my phone. The fitters advised that the company would give me a call to discuss arrangements.

Nothing.

By 4.30pm that day I called the rep, no answer. I sent him a text, no answer. The following day at 10am I called the rep again. No response.

I called the main phone line, it was then I was advised a carpet had been ordered for me. She said the Glasgow office would call me back.

The rep then replied to my text, stating he isn't involved in fittings and to call the office.

I eventually got a call from the main line, advising that the carpet would be fitted on the following Monday.

The customer service stopped when they took my money.

We were left for 3 days with no carpets in the hallway. Not ideal for my mum, who uses a walking frame.

The fitters were great, the company, not so much.

I would not recommend.
