I already have a 6 seater dining set and matching sideboard from Julian Bowen and am happy with the quality, so I ordered a bed from Argos for my daughter. Sadly the foot was broken upon arrival, but Julian Bowen asked for photographs then sent me a replacement within 48 hrs which I am very happy with.
I work for a huge online retailer myself and our process is to reorder the whole item and return the complete damaged product which is a huge faff, so it was refreshing to have such a satisfying result.
Thank you to Stacey for her efficiency. The mark of a good company is how they deal when things go wrong.

I called the company today following an issue from the retailer I bought the bed from. They sent some wrong parts and I have to say Leanne M couldn’t have been more helpful. She was very courteous and empathetic. She asked me to email the issue to them and then responded to my email in just a few hours with a resolution so I’m really happy with the service.

I purchased the Austin 2 Drawer Under Sink Cabinet in August 25. The cabinet itself seemed reasonable quality, although some of the instructions were incorrect.

Incredibly the bottom drawer sliders didn't have dampers fitted, although the top drawer did. What that means is when pushing the bottom drawer back into the closed position, it snaps back very aggressively and could easily catch the fingers of an unexpecting child or adult. 

I explained the dangers of the design to JB and for the sake of spending a few pence more, why not add the dampers as the sliders have the space to accomodate them already. 

The final message I received from JB was that there was no requirement to fit soft closers to the unit from a British or EU regulations point of view. In addition, at the price point of this product, the fitting wasn't possible.

Fine don't fit the dampers, but equally don't fit sliders that spring back like a mouse trap.  The sliders fitted need the dampers or the slider design needs changed - simple! 

We've been using Julian Bowen furniture for years with complete satisfaction. I recently ordered a Marlborough seven drawer chest to replace a 4+2 drawer one that is too big for the bedroom in our new house.

I needed to bring forward the delivery of this with little notice and received an instant response from Chantelle Fearn, who changed the date within 24 hours. Excellent service to go with excellent furniture!

5 drawer cameo chest really well constructed nice finish not like most flat packs. Diagrams a little confusing and parts not marked. It was missing top lid but I contacted them and they arranged a replacement straight away. V happy with this product wood drawers not mdf rubbish.

Recently boguth a Malmo reclining chair & footstool. Sadly 2 samll parts were missing preventing the footstool from being fully assembled. The customer service team were great, and I received the 2 small parts within 48 hours. Very easy & friendly team to deal with - much apprecited....and the chair si very comfortable

Fantastic service from Chloe following my informing of a damaged leg and top that were part of a coffee table set. Replacemt parts sent out immediately, then further assistance when I realised I had actually asked for sn incorrect size. Again replacement speedily issued.

Never again! I ordered a double bed and took time off today (Thursday) to receive the delivery. The delivery men turned up, parked outside my property for 15 mins and drove off.
I called the company and was told that they couldn’t get my item off the van as the van had been loaded incorrectly. They couldn’t deliver again until Monday.
As I had already dismantled my bed, I asked to speak to a manager. The manager said that they’d try to get a delivery tonight but would keep me updated.
It’s now 8.30 pm and I’ve not spoken to anyone / had no messages left, and their office is now closed - so I’ve no been to sleep on.
I’ve paid for goods that haven’t been received and so this, and customer service has been very poor.
I would not recommend this company. Buyer beware!

Fantastic help from Louise in sales support resolving a problem with a broken chair leg replacement.

We ordered a Julian Bowen Capsule Orthopaedic Mattress for our new home. We tested the mattress two weeks later when we fully moved in and the mattress was way too soft and cheaply made. When you turn on your side, you’re literally eye level to the floor. Both my husband and I knew it wasn’t suitable. The edges of the mattress was also fraying and there were faint stains as well. We wrote to our rep who sold us the mattress to ask for an exchange simply for the back pain. I didn’t even mention the fraying. They refused. They said the most they can do is for us is to order a new one from them and they would take their other mattress back. We were outside their 14 day return policy. I contacted them 18 days later. 14 days is a literal joke when most mattress and bed companies let you test for 60 or more days. We should have known better than to naively order anything from this greedy company. We thought they were reputable but obviously they just have a nice website but absolutely no common sense.

We ended up ordering a mattress from another company and have slept so much better since. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. It was our first and last time ordering with them.

Very efficient

We recently purchased a Julian Bowen Arya Extending Dining Table.Really pleased with the design and quality of this product, however there were some minor marks on the top.

Called them and emailed their support desk to try to resolve this and they have been fantastic and very quick to sort this, arranging new replacement parts.

Excellent customer service. Chloe was extremely efficient and resolved my issue very promptly and without fuss.

I needed help on parts for my Chrome Bed, it had been dismantled, and the nuts and bolts had disappeared.
I spoke to the wonderful Chloe who by using emails helped me find the parts I needed.
Within 24 hours the parts were posted to me. Fabulous customer service.
Amazing bed too.
